ప్రముఖ పుణ్యక్షేత్రం యాదగిరిగుట్ట శ్రీ లక్ష్మీనరసింహస్వామి దేవస్థానం పరిధిలో తెలంగాణలోనే అతిపెద్ద వేద పాఠశాల సముదాయ నిర్మాణానికి భూమిపూజ మహోత్సవం అత్యంత వైభవంగా జరిగింది. కంచికామకోటి పీఠాధిపతి జగద్గురు శ్రీ శ్రీ శ్రీ శంకర విజయేంద్ర సరస్వతి స్వామి వారి దివ్య సమక్షంలో జరిగిన ఈ ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు పాల్గొని భూమిపూజ చేశారు.
వేద పాఠశాలతో పాటు టెంపుల్ సిటీ పరిధిలో ₹99.55 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో చేపట్టనున్న పలు ఆలయ అనుబంధ అభివృద్ధి పనులకు ఈ సందర్భంగా శంకుస్థాపనలు చేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారితో పాటు శాసన మండలి చైర్మన్ గుత్తా సుఖేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, మంత్రులు కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్ రెడ్డి గారు, కొండా సురేఖ గారు, అడ్లూరి లక్ష్మణ్ కుమార్ గారు, ఎంపీలు వేం నరేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, చామల కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారితో పాటు పలువురు ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
యాదగిరిగుట్ట టెంపుల్ సిటీని తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానం (TTD) తరహాలో ఉన్నతంగా తీర్చిదిద్దే సంకల్పంలో భాగంగా ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు.
₹43.80 కోట్ల అంచనా వ్యయంతో 15 ఎకరాల విస్తీర్ణంలో నిర్మించనున్న ఈ వేద పాఠశాలలో సంప్రదాయ ఆశ్రమ గురుకుల పద్ధతిలో 300 మంది విద్యార్థులకు వసతితో కూడిన వేద విద్యను అందించనున్నారు. ఈ సముదాయంలో హోమాలు, యాగాలు నిర్వహించడానికి ప్రత్యేక శాలలతో పాటు ఒక గోశాలను కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు.
వేద పాఠశాలకు భూమిపూజతో పాటు ₹43.12 కోట్లతో డార్మిటరీ హాల్స్, దీక్షాపరుల సదనం నిర్మాణం, కొండపై స్వామివారి నిత్య కల్యాణాల నిర్వహణ కోసం ₹9.87 కోట్లతో భారీ కల్యాణ మండపం, భక్తుల సౌకర్యార్థం వైకుంఠ ద్వారం నుంచి కొండపైకి వెళ్లే మెట్ల మార్గానికి ₹1.41 కోట్లతో రక్షణ పైకప్పు (కానోపీ) నిర్మాణం, రథశాల వైపు వాయవ్య దిశలో ఉన్న మాడవీధులకు అనుసంధానంగా ₹1.35 కోట్ల అంచనా వ్యయంతో కొత్త మెట్ల నిర్మాణ పనులకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు.
Telangana’s largest Veda Pathashala complex is being established within the precincts of the renowned Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy performed the ground-breaking ceremony (Bhoomi Pooja) for this prestigious project in the divine presence of Kanchi Kamakoti Peethadhipathi Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swami.
Alongside the Veda Pathashala, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for several temple-affiliated development works within the Temple City, laying out an estimated expenditure of ₹99.55 crores.
The event witnessed the participation of several prominent dignitaries alongside the Chief Minister, including Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Konda Surekha, and Adluri Laxman Kumar, Members of Parliament Vem Narendar Reddy and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, as well as various MLAs, MLCs, and senior government officials.
These initiatives have been launched as part of a grand vision to develop the Yadagirigutta Temple City into a world-class spiritual destination, modeled after the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
To be constructed across 15 acres at an estimated cost of ₹43.80 crores, this Veda Pathashala will provide residential Vedic education to 300 students following the traditional Ashram Gurukul system. The complex will also feature specialized halls (Shalas) for conducting Homas and Yagnas, along with a dedicated Goshala (cow shelter).
In addition to the Veda Pathashala, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones for several infrastructure projects: dormitory halls and a Deekshaparula Sadanam costing ₹43.12 crores; a massive Kalyana Mandapam on the hill for the deity’s daily Kalyanams at ₹9.87 crores; a protective canopy for the steps leading uphill from Vaikuntha Dwaram at ₹1.41 crores; and a new stairway connecting the northwest Mada Streets near the Rathashala at an estimated ₹1.35 crores.
