పే రివిజన్ కమిషన్ (PRC) నివేదికను తక్షణమే అందించాలని అధికారుల కమిటీని ఆదేశించామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు వెల్లడించారు. నివేదిక ఆధారంగా పీఆర్సీపై ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటుందని చెప్పారు. వచ్చే వంద రోజుల్లో ఉద్యోగుల రిటైర్మెంట్ బెనిఫిట్స్ కోసం ₹ 6 వేల కోట్లు చెల్లించనున్నట్టు తెలిపారు. నిధుల ఖర్చు ప్రాధాన్యతలను నిర్ణయించాల్సిన బాధ్యత ఉద్యోగ సంఘాలపై ఉందని అన్నారు.
తెలంగాణ ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల సంయుక్త కార్యాచరణ కమిటీ (JAC), తెలంగాణ ఎంప్లాయీస్ జాయింట్ స్టాఫ్ కౌన్సిల్ నాయకులు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారితో సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఇందులో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క గారితో పాటు ఎంపీలు వేం నరేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, చామల కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారితో పాటు ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల నాయకులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా నాలుగు కీలకమైన అంశాలపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఉద్యోగ సంఘాలకు స్పష్టతనిచ్చారు. ఉద్యోగుల సంక్షేమానికి ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉందని చెప్పారు. వంద రోజుల్లో పదవీ విరమణ చేసిన ఉద్యోగుల బెనిఫిట్స్ కోసం ₹ 6 వేల కోట్లు చెల్లించడంతో పాటు పీఆర్సీపై నివేదిక అందగానే నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటామని చెప్పారు.
గుర్తింపు పొందిన ఉద్యోగ సంఘాలు ప్రతి రెండు నెలలకు ఒకసారి సమావేశమై సమస్యలపై ప్రభుత్వానికి నివేదిక అందించాలని, ఇది స్నేహపూర్వకమైన ప్రభుత్వమని, ఉద్యోగుల సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించే బాధ్యత ప్రభుత్వానిదని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చెప్పారు.
ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులు ప్రస్తావించిన డిమాండ్లపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు స్పందిస్తూ, జూన్ 1 లోగా ఆరోగ్య భద్రత కార్డులను అందిస్తామని చెప్పారు. ప్రభుత్వం ఏ పథకాన్ని ప్రకటించినా ఉద్యోగులు భుజాన వేసుకుని పనిచేస్తున్నారని వారికి అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.
“ఉద్యోగుల సహకారంతోనే ప్రభుత్వ సంక్షేమ పథకాలను విజయవంతంగా అమలు చేయగలుగుతున్నాం. మా ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన వెంటనే ఉద్యోగుల కోసమే మొదటి నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నాం. ఉద్యోగులకు ప్రతీ నెలా మొదటి తారీఖున వేతనాలు అందేలా చర్యలు తీసుకున్నాం” అని తెలిపారు.
“ఉద్యోగ సంఘాలు స్వేచ్ఛగా ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించుకునేలా అవకాశం కల్పించాం. ఉద్యోగుల బదిలీల విషయంలో గందరగోళం తలెత్తకుండా ప్రణాళిక ప్రకారం నిర్వహించాం. ఎంతో కాలంగా పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న టీచర్ల బదిలీలు ఎలాంటి వివాదం లేకుండా పూర్తిచేశాం. ఉద్యోగుల ఆరోగ్య భద్రత కార్డుల ప్రతిపాదనపై కూడా ప్రభుత్వం సానుకూలంగా స్పందించింది. ఈ రెండేళ్లలో ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వంలో 67,760 ఉద్యోగ నియామకాలు చేపట్టాం” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గుర్తుచేశారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల నాయకులు మారం జగదీష్ గారు, వి. లచ్చి రెడ్డి గారు, ఏలూరి శ్రీనివాస రావు గారు, జి. శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి గారు, పి. దామోదర్ రెడ్డి గారు, జి. సదానందం గౌడ్ గారు, వి. రవీందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, వి. రాజశేఖర్ గారు, కె. రామకృష్ణ గారు, ఎస్. రాములు గారితో పాటు ఇతర ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
సంఘాల డిమాండ్లపై స్పష్టతనిచ్చిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారికి ఈ సందర్భంగా ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల నాయకులు ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు. సీఎం గారి నేతృత్వంలో చాలావరకు ఉద్యోగుల సమస్యలను ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం పరిష్కరించిందని గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు.
ఈ నెల 5 న తలపెట్టిన నిరసన కార్యక్రమంతో పాటు అన్ని రకాల నిరసన కార్యక్రమాలను ఉపసంహరించుకున్నట్టు ఉద్యోగుల సంఘాల నేతలు ప్రకటించారు.
Seeking a swift resolution to employee concerns, Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy announced that he has directed the Committee of Officials to submit the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) report immediately. He stated that the government would take a decision regarding the PRC based on this report. He further informed that ₹6,000 crore would be disbursed towards employees’ retirement benefits within the next 100 days. He added that the responsibility of prioritizing the allocation of these funds lies with the employee unions.
Leaders from the Telangana Employees’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) and the Telangana Employees’ Joint Staff Council met with the Chief Minister. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, MPs Vem Narender Reddy and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, as well as leaders from various employee unions.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister provided clarity to the employee unions regarding four key issues. He affirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of its employees. He reiterated that, in addition to disbursing ₹6,000 crore towards retirement benefits for retired employees within 100 days, a decision regarding the PRC would be taken as soon as the report is received.
The Chief Minister urged recognized employee unions to meet once every two months and submit reports to the government regarding their issues. He emphasized that this is a friendly government and that the responsibility for resolving employees’ grievances rests with the administration.
Responding to the demands raised by the representatives of the employee unions, the Chief Minister assured them that Health Security Cards would be issued by June 1st. He also commended the employees, noting that whenever the government announces a new scheme, they take it upon themselves to shoulder the responsibility and work diligently to ensure its success. “We are able to successfully implement government welfare schemes solely with the cooperation of the employees. Immediately upon assuming office, our government took its very first decision specifically for the benefit of the employees. We took measures to ensure that employees receive their salaries on the first of every month,” he stated.
“We provided the opportunity for employee unions to conduct their elections freely. To prevent any confusion regarding employee transfers, we conducted them in a systematic and planned manner. We successfully completed the long-pending transfers of teachers without any disputes.
The government also responded positively to the proposal regarding health security cards for employees. Over the past two years, our people-centric government has undertaken 67,760 employee recruitments,” the Chief Minister recalled.
Leaders of the employee unions—including Mr. Maram Jagadeesh, Mr. V. Lachchi Reddy, Mr. Yeluri Srinivasa Rao, Mr. G. Srinivas Reddy, Mr. P. Damodar Reddy, Mr. G. Sadanandam Goud, Mr. V. Ravinder Reddy, Mr. V. Rajasekhar, Mr. K. Ramakrishna, and Mr. S. Ramulu—along with other representatives, participated in this meeting.
On this occasion, the employee union leaders expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing clarity regarding the unions’ demands. They acknowledged that, under the Chief Minister’s leadership, the people-centric government has resolved the majority of the issues faced by the employees.
