కొన్ని జిల్లాలను రద్దు చేస్తారని, సింగరేణి మెడికల్ బోర్డును రద్దు చేస్తారంటూ జరుగుతున్న తప్పుడు ప్రచారంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు స్వయంగా స్పష్టతనిచ్చారు. ఏ జిల్లాను తొలగించడం గానీ, కొత్త జిల్లాను ఏర్పాటు చేసే ఆలోచనగానీ ప్రభుత్వ పరిశీలనలో లేదన్నారు. సింగరేణి మెడికల్ బోర్డు రద్దు చేస్తారంటూ కొందరు తప్పుడు, విష ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారని అన్నారు. అలాంటి ఆలోచనలే ప్రభుత్వం చేయడం లేదని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
“ప్రజా పాలన – ప్రగతి బాట” కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి జిల్లా చెల్పూరు గ్రామంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన బహిరంగ సభలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రసంగిస్తూ, జిల్లాల పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ, సింగరేణి మెడికల్ బోర్డు అంశాలపై స్పష్టతనిచ్చారు.
“జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి జిల్లాను రద్దు చేస్తారంటూ తప్పుడు విష ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు. 4 కోట్ల తెలంగాణ ప్రజలకు స్పష్టంగా చెప్పదలుచుకున్నా. ఏ జిల్లాను తొలగించడం గానీ, కొత్త జిల్లాను ఏర్పాటు చేసే ఆలోచన గానీ ప్రభుత్వ పరిశీలనలో లేదు. ఎక్కడైనా జిల్లాల్లో పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరించాలి లేదా రేషనలైజేషన్ చేయాలంటే బహిరంగంగా ప్రజలకు చెప్పి శాసనసభలో చర్చించి, ప్రతిపక్షాల సూచనలు తీసుకున్న తర్వాతనే జిల్లాల గురించి ఆలోచనలు చేస్తాం.
ఎవరెన్ని కుట్రలు పన్నినా, ఎవరెన్ని అపోహలు సృష్టించినా, భూపాలపల్లి ప్రాంతం చైతన్యవంతమైన ప్రాంతం, కుట్రలు కుతంత్రాలతో తప్పుడు ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారో వారిని పసిగట్టగలిగే శక్తి భూపాలపల్లి ప్రజలకు ఉంది. భూపాలపల్లిని అభివృద్ధి పథంలో నడిపిస్తాం” అని వివరంగా చెప్పారు.
సింగరేణి మెడికల్ బోర్డుకు సంబంధించి జరుగుతున్న ప్రచారాన్ని ఖండించారు. “ఆదిలాబాద్ నుంచి ఖమ్మం వరకు సింగరేణి పరీవాహక ప్రాంతంలో వేలాది సింగరేణి కార్మిక కుటుంబాలున్నాయి. కార్పొరేట్ మెడికల్ బోర్డును రద్దు చేస్తుందని, వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగాలు, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు పోతాయని కొందరు తప్పుడు, విష ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు.
అసలు ఈ ఆలోచనలు ఎక్కడి నుంచి వచ్చాయో అర్థం కావడం లేదు. సింగరేణి మెడికల్ బోర్డు రద్దు చేయాలన్న ఆలోచనే ప్రభుత్వం చేయడం లేదు. కార్మికుల ప్రయోజనాల కోసం ప్రభుత్వం చేస్తుంది తప్ప, కార్మికులకు నష్టం కలిగే ఏ నిర్ణయం తీసుకోదు. సింగరేణి గని కార్మికులు తమ భుజాలపై మోసి ఈ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని నిలబెట్టారు” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు విడమరిచి చెప్పారు.
2027లో నిర్వహించబోయే పుష్కరాల గురించి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వివరిస్తూ, ఆదిలాబాద్ నుంచి ఖమ్మం వరకు గోదావరి పరీవాహక ప్రాంతంలోని బాసర నుంచి భద్రాచలం వరకు ప్రతి ఆలయాన్ని పర్యాటక పుణ్యక్షేత్రాలుగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతాం. అటవీ ప్రాంతాల్లో రిసార్టులను నిర్మించి పర్యాటక ప్రాంతాలుగా అభివృద్ధి చేస్తాం.
గతేడాది సరస్వతి పుష్కరాలను అద్భుతంగా నిర్వహించుకున్నాం. అలాగే, వెయ్యేండ్లు గుర్తుండే విధంగా మేడారంను తీర్చిదిద్దుకుని సమ్మక్క – సారలమ్మ జాతరను దక్షిణ కుంభమేళాగా గొప్పగా నిర్వహించాం. మేడారం జాతరకు 2 కోట్ల మంది దర్శించుకున్నారు” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చెప్పారు.
ఉమ్మడి వరంగల్ జిల్లాలోని మున్సిపాలిటీల్లో వివిధ అభివృద్ధి పనుల కోసం 6,116 కోట్ల రూపాయలను కేటాయించామని వాటి వివరాలను వెల్లడించారు. తెలంగాణ తొలి, మలి విడత పోరాటంలో వరంగల్ జిల్లా ప్రజలు, కాకతీయ, ఉస్మానియా యూనివర్సిటీల పాత్ర, ప్రొఫెసర్ జయశంకర్ గారి పాత్రను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు గుర్తుచేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, కొండా సురేఖ గారు, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి గారితో పాటు ఉమ్మడి వరంగల్ జిల్లాకు చెందిన పలువురు ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ బహిరంగ సభ వేదిక నుంచి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ‘సమ్మక్క – సారలమ్మ జిల్లా మహిళా సమాఖ్య’కు 205 కోట్ల రూపాయల బ్యాంకు లింకేజీ చెక్కును అందజేశారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy clarified false propaganda circulating about the abolition of some districts and the Singareni Medical Board. He stated that the government has no plans to abolish any district or create a new one, and that the Singareni Medical Board will continue to function as usual.
Speaking at a public meeting in Chelpur village, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, as part of the “Praja Palana – Pragathi Bata” program, the Chief Minister addressed concerns regarding district reorganization and the Singareni Medical Board.
He said, “False and malicious propaganda is being spread that Jayashankar Bhupalpally district will be abolished. I want to assure the 4 crore people of Telangana that no district will be abolished, and no new district will be created. If there is ever a need to reorganize or rationalize districts, the public will be informed, the matter will be discussed in the Legislative Assembly, and suggestions from all parties will be considered before any decision is taken.”
He added, “Bhupalpally is a vibrant region. No matter how many conspiracies or misconceptions are spread, the people of Bhupalpally have the ability to identify false propaganda. We will continue to guide the district on the path of development.”
On the Singareni Medical Board, he clarified, “Thousands of Singareni coal mine worker families live across the Singareni catchment area from Adilabad to Khammam. Some are spreading false claims that the corporate medical board will be abolished and that hereditary jobs and employment opportunities will be lost. These claims are baseless. The government has no intention of abolishing the board. All decisions are made for the welfare of workers, and no action will harm them. Singareni mine workers have consistently supported this government.”
Regarding the Pushkarams in 2027, the Chief Minister said that every temple in the Godavari river basin, from Basara to Bhadrachalam, will be developed into tourist and pilgrimage centers. Resorts will also be developed in forest areas to promote tourism.
He highlighted the successful Saraswati Pushkarams last year and the development of Medaram, where the Sammakka-Saralamma Jathara was organized as a South Indian Kumbh Mela, attracting around two crore devotees.
The Chief Minister announced the allocation of Rs. 6,116 crore for various development works in the municipalities of the erstwhile Warangal district. He also acknowledged the contributions of the people of Warangal, Kakatiya and Osmania Universities, and Professor Jayashankar during the Telangana movement.
Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Konda Surekha, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, along with several local public representatives, participated in the program.
From the stage, the Chief Minister handed over a bank linkage cheque of Rs. 205 crore to the Sammakka – Saralamma (Bhupalpally District) Mahila Samakhya.
