ఆదివాసీల అతిపెద్ద పండుగ అయిన మేడారం సమ్మక్క – సారలమ్మ పుణ్యక్షేత్రం పునరుద్ధరణ పూర్తయిన నేపథ్యంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ప్రజలకు అంకితం చేశారు. ఈ చారిత్రాత్మక ఘట్టంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు కుటుంబ సమేతంగా సమ్మక్క–సారలమ్మ అమ్మవార్లను దర్శించుకుని ఆశీర్వాదం పొందారు.
దాదాపు వెయ్యేళ్ల వీరగాథకు, జాతి వారసత్వ సంపదకు సంబంధించిన చరిత్రకు అద్దం పట్టేలా రూపుదిద్దుకున్న మేడారం గద్దెలు, ఆలయ ప్రాంగణాన్ని పునఃప్రారంభించిన అనంతరం ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. అమ్మవార్లకు నిలువెత్తు బంగారాన్ని సమర్పించారు.
ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క గారితో పాటు మంత్రివర్గ సహచరులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులతో కలిసి అమ్మవార్లను దర్శించుకున్నారు. అంతకుముందు గద్దెల ప్రాంగణంలో పైలాన్ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆవిష్కరించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy has officially dedicated the renovated Medaram Sammakka – Saralamma shrine to the public. As the venue of the largest tribal festival, the renovation reflects a thousand-year-old saga of valour and the deep cultural heritage of the adivasi tribal communities.
Marking this historic occasion, the Chief Minister, along with his family, offered prayers to the Sammakka–Saralamma goddesses. Following the reopening of the temple complex, he performed special rituals and, as a traditional gesture of devotion, offered gold (jaggery) equivalent to his height to the goddesses, seeking their divine blessings.
Earlier, the Chief Minister unveiled a commemorative pylon within the shrine complex. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, members of the state cabinet, and other public representatives were present during the visit.
