“లక్ష్యం ఉన్నతంగా ఉండాలి. అందుకు కష్టపడే తత్వాన్ని అలవర్చుకోవాలి. భాషను, జ్ఞానాన్ని పెంచుకోవడానికి చిత్తశుద్ధితో పనిచేయాలి. మీలోని నిబద్ధత, క్రమశిక్షణతో కూడిన విద్య మిమ్మల్ని సమాజంలో ఉన్నతంగా నిలబెడుతుంది.” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థులకు ఉద్బోధించారు.
మహబూబ్ నగర్ జిల్లా జిల్లా జడ్చర్ల మండలం చిట్టబోయినపల్లిలో రాజీవ్ గాంధీ వైజ్ఞానిక సాంకేతిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం (IIIT) కు భూమిపూజ చేశారు. అనంతరం ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు విద్యార్థులతో ముఖాముఖి సంభాషించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థులు ప్రస్తావించిన అంశాలపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు స్పందించి, విద్యకు ఉన్న ప్రాధాన్యతను వివరించారు.
ఉజ్వలమైన భవిష్యత్తు కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్న విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థులందరికీ ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు శుభాకాంక్షలు, అభినందనలు తెలియజేశారు.
“విద్యారంగాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేయాలన్నదే ప్రభుత్వ టాప్ ప్రాధాన్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నాం. అందుకే ప్రతి నియోజకవర్గంలో అడ్వాన్స్డ్ టెక్నాలజీ సెంలర్స్ (ATC)లను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నాం. మహబూబ్నగర్ జిల్లాలో ఐఐఐటీతో పాటు ఇంజినీరింగ్, లా, మెడికల్ కళాశాలలను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నాం. యూపీఎస్సీ (సివిల్స్) రాసేవారిని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు మెయిన్స్, ఇంటర్వ్యూలకు ఎంపికైన యువతకు ఆర్థిక సహాయం అందిస్తున్నాం.
ఇవన్నీ ప్రపంచంతో పోటీ పడాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతో చేస్తున్నాం. ఎంత ఎదిగినా కన్న తల్లిదండ్రులను, పుట్టిన ఊరును మరవకండి. రేపటి మీ భవిష్యత్తు చదువుపైనే ఆధారపడి ఉంది. 25 ఏళ్ల వరకు కష్టపడి చదువుకోండి. చదువు మీకు సమాజంలో గౌరవాన్ని తెచ్చిపెడుతుంది. దేశంలో ఏ మూలకు వెళ్లినా తెలంగాణకు గుర్తింపు, గౌరవం తీసుకురావాలి. లక్ష్యాన్ని సాధించి సమాజానికి ఆదర్శవంతంగా నిలవాలి.
స్వాతంత్య్రం వచ్చినప్పుడు జమీందార్లు, జాగీర్దార్ల వద్ద ఉన్న భూములను తీసుకుని భూమిలేని నిరుపేదలకు అసైన్మెంట్ లేదా పోడు భూముల పట్టాలను ఇచ్చారు. పేదలకు పంచేందుకు ఇప్పుడు భూములు లేవు. ఇళ్ల పట్టాలు ఇవ్వాలంటేనే కష్టమైన పనిగా మారింది.
ప్రభుత్వం ఇవ్వగలిగింది విద్య మాత్రమే. విద్య ఒక్కటే మీ జీవితాన్ని మార్చగలదు. అభివృద్ధి చెందిన పౌరులుగా నిలదొక్కుకోగలుగుతారు. అందుకే ప్రభుత్వం విద్యారంగానికి అత్యధిక ప్రాధాన్యతనిస్తోంది.
మహబూబ్నగర్ జిల్లా నుంచి బూర్గుల రామకృష్ణారావు గారు హైదరాబాద్ రాష్ట్ర తొలి ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వర్తించగా, 75 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత మళ్లీ జిల్లాకు అవకాశం వచ్చింది. 2006లో జిల్లా పరిషత్ సభ్యుడి నుంచి ఎమ్మెల్సీ, ఎమ్మెల్యే, ఎంపీగా చట్టసభల్లో పనిచేసిన నాకు పెద్దల సహకారంతో ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా అయ్యే అవకాశం లభించింది..” అని వివరిస్తూ, ఈ రోజు భూమిపూజ చేసుకున్న ఐఐఐటీ భవన నిర్మాణాన్ని ఏడాది కాలంలో పూర్తి చేస్తామని వెల్లడించారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు స్పందించడానికి ముందు పలువురు విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థులు ఎలాంటి తొణుకు–బెనుకు లేకుండా అద్భుతంగా మాట్లాడారు.
200 కోట్ల రూపాయలతో నిర్మించే ఈ ఐఐఐటీ భూమిపూజ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు దామోదర రాజనర్సింహ గారు, జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు గారు, వాకిటి శ్రీహరి గారు, ప్రణాళికా సంఘం ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు చిన్నారెడ్డి గారు, ఎంపీలు మల్లు రవి గారు, డీకే అరుణ గారు, ఉమ్మడి మహబూబ్నగర్ జిల్లా ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, అధికారులు హాజరయ్యారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy exhorted students to set lofty goals and cultivate a hardworking attitude, stating that commitment and disciplined education elevate one to a respected position in society.
The Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Puja (the groundbreaking ceremony) for the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (IIIT) at Chitteboyinapalli, Jadcherla mandal, Mahbubnagar district, and later interacted with students, addressing their concerns and highlighting the importance of education.
Emphasising that education is the government’s top priority, he said Advanced Training Centres (ATCs) are being established in every constituency. He announced that Mahbubnagar district will soon have an IIIT campus along with engineering, law, and medical colleges.
To encourage civil services aspirants, the government is providing financial assistance to candidates selected for UPSC Mains and interviews.
Stating that land resources for distribution to the poor have been exhausted, the Chief Minister underlined that education is the only sustainable path for empowerment and social mobility.
He urged students to never forget their parents and birthplace, bring pride to Telangana wherever they go, and emerge as role models for society.
Recalling that after Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, Mahbubnagar district has received the opportunity to have a Chief Minister after 75 years, he assured that the IIIT campus building will be completed within one year, as scheduled.
Ministers Damodara Rajanarasimha, Jupally Krishna Rao, Vakiti Srihari, Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Chinnareddy, MPs Mallu Ravi and DK Aruna, along with public representatives, senior officials, and students, attended the programme.
