నిరుపేదల భవిష్యత్తు బాగుండాలంటే చదువు ఒక్కటే మార్గమని, వారి చదువుల కోసం ప్రభుత్వం ఎంతైనా ఖర్చు చేయడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు మరోసారి స్పష్టం చేశారు. పేదలకు చదువు చెప్పించి సమాజంలో ప్రయోజకులను చేయాలన్న సంకల్పంతోనే ప్రభుత్వం పని చేస్తోందని అన్నారు.
భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం జిల్లా అశ్వారావుపేట నియోజకవర్గం బెండలపాడు గ్రామంలో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్ల గృహ ప్రవేశ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి గారు, వాకిటి శ్రీహరి గారితో కలిసి పాల్గొన్నారు. అనంతరం దామరచర్లలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సభలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రసంగించారు.
“నిరుపేదలకు పంచడానికి ప్రభుత్వం వద్ద భూములు అందుబాటులో లేవు. పేదవాడి బాధలు తీరాలంటే చదువు కోవడం ఒక్కటే మార్గం. చదువు చెప్పించి మిమ్మల్ని ప్రయోజకులను చేయాలన్న సంకల్పంతోనే వంద నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ఇంటిగ్రేడెట్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూళ్లను ప్రారంభిస్తున్నాం. హాస్టల్ విద్యార్థులకు డైట్, కాస్మొటిక్ చార్జీలను పెంచాం.
స్థానికంగా ఉపాధి అవకాశాలను మెరుగు పరచడంతో పాటు సింగపూర్, దక్షిణ కొరియా, జపాన్ లాంటి దేశాల్లో ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు కల్పించాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతో ఐటీఐలన్నింటినీ అడ్వాన్స్డ్ టెక్నాలజీ సెంటర్లుగా మార్చాం. పేదవారి బతుకులు బాగుపడాలంటే, పేదవాడు పరిపాలన చేయాలంటే, ఇంజనీర్లు, డాక్టర్లు, ఐఏఎస్, ఐపీఎస్లు కావాలంటే చదువొక్కటే మార్గం. చదువుకోండి. అందుకు ఏం కావాలో అడగండి. ఎవరో సాయం చేయాలని ఎదురుచూసే స్థాయి నుంచి పేదవాడు నలుగురికి సాయం చేసే స్థాయికి ఎదగాలి.
రాష్ట్రంలో ఏ చిన్న తప్పిదం జరక్కుండా ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్ల పథకం అమలు చేస్తున్నాం. మంత్రి పొంగులేటి గారు తనకు అప్పగించిన శాఖను సమర్థవంతంగా నిర్వహిస్తూ మొదటి విడతలో 4.5 లక్షల నిరుపేద కుటుంబాల సొంతింటి కలను నెరవేర్చుతున్నారు.
గ్రామాల్లో పేదరికాన్ని చూశాం. గ్రామ స్థాయి నుంచి ఈరోజు జాతీయ స్థాయి రాజకీయాలు మాట్లాడుతున్నామంటే.. పేదరికమంటే ఎలా ఉంటుందో చూశాం కాబట్టే మాట్లాడగలుగుతున్నాం. గ్రామాల్లోనే పుట్టాం. అక్కడే పేదలతో కలిసి భోజనాలు చేశాం. అది మా జీవన విధానంలో ఒక భాగం. అందుకే పేదరికాన్ని రూపుమాపాలని ఒక బాధ్యతగా తీసుకుని పనిచేస్తున్నాం.
ఇందిరమ్మ ప్రభుత్వంలో ఆనాడు పోడు భూములకు పట్టాలు పంపిణీ చేశాం. వైఎస్ రాజశేఖర రెడ్డి నేతృత్వంలోని కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు, రేషన్ కార్డులు, ఉచిత కరెంట్, ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్మెంట్, ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ ఇచ్చాం.
ప్రజలు రేషన్ కార్డుల కోసం కండ్లు కాయలు కాసేలా ఎదురుచూశారు. ఇప్పుడు ఇందిరమ్మ ప్రభుత్వం రేషన్ కార్డులు, ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు, 200 యూనిట్ల వరకు ఉచిత కరెంట్, సన్న బియ్యం ఇస్తున్నాం. మా ఇళ్లల్లో ఏ సన్నబియ్యం తింటున్నామో పేదోడి ఇంట్లో కూడా అదే సన్నబియ్యం తింటున్నారు. ఈ సంక్షేమ పథకాలన్నీ ఇందిరమ్మ ప్రభుత్వంలోనే సాధ్యమైంది” అని వివరించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఎంపీలు పోరిక బలరాం నాయక్ గారు, రామసహాయం రఘురాం రెడ్డి గారితో పాటు ఉమ్మడి ఖమ్మం జిల్లాకు చెందిన శాసనసభ్యులు, స్థానిక ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు, అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy reaffirmed that education is the only path to secure a better future for the poor, and emphasized that the government is ready to spend any amount necessary to provide quality education. He said the government is determined to empower the poor through education and make them valuable contributors to society.
Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy participated in the Indiramma Indlu Gruha Pravesh program at Bendalapadu village in Ashwaraopet constituency, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, along with Vakiti Srihari. Later, the Chief Minister addressed a public gathering at Damaracharla.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said: “The government does not have surplus land to distribute to the poor. The only way to overcome poverty is education. With this vision, we are establishing integrated residential schools in 100 constituencies. We have also increased the diet and cosmetic charges for hostel students.”
He further said: “We have upgraded all ITIs into Advanced Technology Centers to improve local employment opportunities and to enable our youth to secure jobs in countries like Singapore, South Korea, and Japan. If the poor aspire to progress, to govern, to become engineers, doctors, IAS or IPS officers, education is the only way. Study well, ask for what you need. The poor must rise from waiting for help to becoming a source of help for others.”
The Chief Minister asserted that the Indiramma Indlu Scheme is being implemented without a single error. He commended Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy for effectively managing his department and said that in the first phase, the dream of 4.5 lakh poor families to own a home is being realized.
“We have seen poverty in villages. From living and eating with the poor, we know their hardships. That is why we are committed to eradicating poverty as a responsibility, not as a charity. During the earlier Indiramma government, uncultivated lands were distributed, houses were built, ration cards were given, and welfare schemes like free electricity, fee reimbursement, and Arogyasri were introduced under the leadership of YS Rajasekhara Reddy.”
He added that now, under the present Indiramma government, ration cards, Indiramma houses, 200 units of free electricity, and fine rice are being provided: “The fine rice served in our homes is the same being served in the homes of the poor. This equality is the essence of welfare governance.”
MPs Porika Balaram Nayak, Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, legislators from the joint Khammam district, local public representatives, and officials participated in the program.
