ఖైరతాబాద్ శ్రీ విశ్వశాంతి మహా గణపతి మహదేవుడిని దర్శించుకుని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. ఆ విఘ్నేశ్వరుడి కృప ప్రజలందరిపైనా ఉండాలని ప్రార్థించారు.
హైదరాబాద్ నగర చరిత్రలో గడిచిన 71 సంవత్సరాలుగా ఎన్ని ఇబ్బందులు, కష్టాలొచ్చినా దేశంలోనే అత్యంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా ఖైరతాబాద్ బడా గణేష్ ఉత్సవాలను జరుపుతున్నారని ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు నిర్వాహకులను అభినందించారు.
ఇలాంటి కార్యక్రమాలను ఒకసారి చేయడమే కష్టమవుతున్న ఈ కాలంలో ఎన్ని ఉపద్రవాలొచ్చినా తట్టుకుని నిలబడి నిర్వహిస్తున్న ఖైరతాబాద్ గణపతికి పోటీ లేదన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్లో 1 లక్షా 40 వేల విగ్రహాలను ప్రతిష్టించుకుని ఉత్సవాలను అత్యంత వైభవంగా జరుపుకుంటున్నామని చెప్పారు.
దేశంలో ఎక్కడా లేని విధంగా గణేష్ మండపాలకు ఉచిత విద్యుత్ను అందిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. భక్తుల మనోభావాలను గౌరవించే విధంగా నగరంలో పోలీసు, మున్సిపల్, రెవెన్యూ, విద్యుత్, ఇతర శాఖలు తోడ్పాటును అందిస్తున్నాయని చెప్పారు.
అన్ని మతాలను గౌరవిస్తూ హైదరాబాద్ నగరం మత సామరస్యానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలుస్తోందన్నారు. ప్రజలకు ఎలాంటి అసౌకర్యాలు కలగకుండా ట్యాంక్బండ్తో పాటు ఇతర ప్రాంతాల్లో ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాట్లు చేసిందని, ప్రజలంతా భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో నిమజ్జన కార్యక్రమం పూర్తి చేసుకోవాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy visited the Khairatabad Sri Vishwashanti Maha Ganapati Mahadev and offered special pujas, praying for the blessings of Lord Vigneshwara on all the people.
The Chief Minister congratulated the organizers, stating that despite the many challenges faced by Hyderabad city over the past 71 years, the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh Utsava continues to be celebrated with unmatched prestige and devotion in the country.
He noted that in times when organizing such grand celebrations even once has become difficult, the Khairatabad Ganapati stands unparalleled. This year, around 1.4 lakh idols are being installed across Hyderabad, marking the festival’s grandeur.
The Chief Minister highlighted that free electricity is being provided to Ganesh mandals — a facility unique in the country. He also appreciated the efforts of the police, municipal, revenue, electricity, and other departments for extending full support in honoring the devotees’ sentiments.
Emphasizing Hyderabad’s identity as a symbol of religious harmony, the Chief Minister said the government has made elaborate arrangements at Tank Bund and other areas to ensure a smooth and safe immersion process. He appealed to devotees to complete the Ganesh immersion program with devotion and discipline.
