ప్రజలకు సమస్యలు వచ్చినప్పుడు రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ మానవత్వంతో వ్యవహరించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు కోరారు. వరదల కారణంగా నష్టపోయిన కామారెడ్డి జిల్లాలో తీసుకునే చర్యలు సంక్షోభ నివారణలో ఒక మాడల్ జిల్లాగా నిలవాలని అన్నారు.
సహాయక చర్యలకు సంబంధించి అధికారులు పరిష్కారాలతో అంచనాలు సిద్ధం చేయాలని చెప్పారు. వారి అంచనాల ఆధారంగా ప్రభుత్వం తగిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటుందని, 15 రోజుల తర్వాత మరోసారి పరిస్థితులను సమీక్షిస్తామని చెప్పారు.
వరదల వల్ల దెబ్బతిన్న ప్రాంతాలను క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పరిశీలించిన అనంతరం ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు సమీకృత కలెక్టరేట్ భవనంలో ఉన్నతస్థాయి సమావేశంలో పరిస్థితులను సమీక్షించారు. ప్రజలను ఆదుకోవడానికి తీసుకోవలసిన చర్యలపై అదికారులకు పలు సూచనలు చేశారు.
ఇలాంటి విపత్కర పరిస్థితులు తలెత్తినప్పుడు ప్రభుత్వానికి సంబంధించి అన్ని శాఖల మధ్య సమన్వయం చాలా అవసరమని నొక్కి చెప్పారు. వరదలొచ్చినప్పుడు దాని ప్రభావం, పర్యవసనాలు నీటి పారుదల, వ్యవసాయం, విద్యుత్, రోడ్లు భవనాలు, మున్సిపాలిటీ.. ఇలా ఒకదానిపై ఇంకొకటి ఆధారపడి ఉంటుందని అన్నారు. శాఖల మధ్య సమన్వయం లోపిస్తే ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తుతాయని పలు అంశాలను ఉదహరించారు.
వరదల వల్ల ఉమ్మడి నిజామాబాద్ జిల్లాలో జరిగిన నష్టంపై ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, ఉన్నతాధికారులతో రోజంతా ప్రత్యేకంగా సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేసి చర్చించాలని ఇంచార్జీ మంత్రి ధనసరి సీతక్క గారికి సూచించారు. ఉమ్మడి జిల్లాకు సంబంధించి జరిగిన నష్టంపై అధికారులు క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పర్యటించి అంచనాలు రూపొందించి, ప్రతిపాదనలు తయారు చేయాలని చెప్పారు. అధికారుల ప్రతిపాదనలపై తక్షణం నిధులను విడుదల చేసి ప్రజలను ఆదుకుంటామన్నారు.
కామారెడ్డిలో గతంలో ఎప్పుడూ లేనంత వర్షం కురవడం, భారీ వరదల సమయంలో ఎమ్మెల్యే గారు, ఎస్టీఆర్ఎఫ్ (SDRF), ఆయా శాఖల అధికారులు ప్రజలకు సహకరించారని చెబుతూ, ఆపత్కాలంలో సిబ్బంది రోజుకు 24 గంటలు పని చేశారంటూ ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వారికి అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. సిబ్బంది బాగా స్పందించినప్పటికీ శాఖల మధ్య కొంత సమన్వయ లోపం కనిపించిందన్నారు.
ఎరువుల విషయంలోనూ క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో గందరగోళ పరిస్థితులు తలెత్తకుండా చూడాలని, ముఖ్యంగా రైతు వేదికల వద్ద సమావేశాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసి ముందుగానే టోకెన్లు జారీ చేయడం వంటి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. యూరియా అందుబాటులో ఉన్నా ఒక్కసారిగా ఎక్కువ మంది లైన్లో నిలబెట్టడం ద్వారా చివరన ఉన్న వారు సహనం కోల్పోయే పరిస్థితి ఉత్పన్నమవుతుందని, యూరియాకు సంబంధించి స్థానికంగా సమన్వయం చేసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు.
వరదలొచ్చినప్పుడు ఎదుర్కొనడానికి తక్షణం తాత్కాలిక చర్యలు తీసుకున్నప్పటికీ భవిష్యత్తులో ఇలాంటి సందర్భాలను నివారించడానికి, ప్రణాళికా బద్ధమైన శాశ్వత పరిష్కారాలు ఉండాలన్నారు. విపత్తు సహాయం విషయంలో నిబంధనల మేరకు కేంద్రం నుంచి నిధులు రాబట్టుకోవాలని అధికారులకు చెప్పారు. వరదల్లో చిక్కుకుని ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయి వారి కుటుంబాలకు ఈ సందర్బంగా పరిహారానికి సంబంధించిన పత్రాలను అందించారు.
ఈ సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో మంత్రులు ధనసరి అనసూయ సీతక్క గారు, పొంంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి గారు, సలహాదారు షబ్బీర్ అలీ గారు, ఎంపీ సురేష్ కుమార్ షెట్కార్ గారు, ఎమ్మెల్సీ మహేష్ కుమార్ గౌడ్ గారు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు పోచారం శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి గారు, మదన్ మోహన్ రావు గారు, సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డి గారు, కాటిపల్లి వెంకట రమణారెడ్డి గారు, తోట లక్ష్మీకాంతరావు గారు, జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ గారు, ఎస్పీ గారితో పాటు ఆయా శాఖల అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy urged everyone to rise above politics and act with humanity when people face crises. He emphasized that the steps being taken in flood-hit Kamareddy district should serve as a model for crisis prevention across the state.
The Chief Minister directed officials to prepare detailed estimates with practical solutions for relief and rehabilitation. He said the government will take immediate measures based on these reports and the situation will be reviewed again in 15 days.
After inspecting the flood-affected areas on the ground, he conducted a high-level review meeting at the Integrated Collectorate, giving specific instructions to officials on steps required to support the affected people.
He highlighted the importance of coordination among all government departments—irrigation, agriculture, electricity, roads, buildings, and municipalities—stating that lack of synergy during such disasters can worsen the impact.
He instructed in-charge Minister Dhanasari Seethakka to hold a day-long special meeting with public representatives and senior officials on the flood damage in the joint Nizamabad district. He assured that funds would be released promptly based on official proposals to extend relief.
Appreciating the MLA, SDRF, and departmental staff for working round-the-clock during the unprecedented rains, he noted that while the response was effective, gaps in inter-departmental coordination must be addressed.
On fertilizer distribution, he stressed avoiding confusion by organizing meetings with farmers, issuing tokens in advance, and ensuring smooth local coordination, particularly for urea supply.
He added that while temporary measures helped in the immediate crisis, permanent and planned solutions must be implemented to prevent recurrence. He instructed officials to secure central funds under disaster relief provisions and personally handed over compensation documents to the families of those who lost their lives.
