ప్రపంచంలోనే ఒక గొప్ప అభివృద్ధి చెందిన రాష్ట్రంగా తెలంగాణను తీర్చిదిద్దాలన్నదే తన జీవిత ఆశయమని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు అన్నారు. ప్రజల సమస్య పరిష్కరించడానికి తనకు ఒక అవకాశం వచ్చిందంటే శ్రీకృష్ణ భగవానుడి ఆశీస్సులు ఉన్నాయని భావిస్తానని చెప్పారు.
టీజీ జెన్కో ఆడిటోరియంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యక్రమంలో వాక్కులమ్మ ప్రచురణ నుంచి వెలువడిన హసిత బాష్పాలు (కావ్యరూపం) పుస్తకాన్ని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆవిష్కరించి, రచయిత శ్రీరామ్ గారిని, అందెశ్రీ గారిని అభినందించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ..
“ఒక సాధారణ వ్యవసాయ మధ్య తరగతి కుటుంబం నుంచి వచ్చిన నేను 4 కోట్ల ప్రజల సంక్షేమం, అభివృద్ధి కోసం పని చేయకుండా, ఎవరో నచ్చలేదని వారిపై ఈ అధికారాన్ని వినియోగిస్తే అంతకన్నా మూర్ఖత్వం ఉండదు. నేను ఎవరినీ శత్రువుగా చూడను.
నేను కర్మ సిద్ధాంతాన్ని విశ్వసిస్తా. 2006 లో జెడ్పీటీసీ సభ్యుడిగా, 2007 లో ఎమ్మెల్సీగా, 2009 ఎమ్మెల్యేగా, 2014 లో ఎంపీగా, 2023 సీఎంగా… తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు పెద్ద బాధ్యతను నా భుజాలపై పెట్టారు. ఏ హోదా నిర్వహించకుండానే, ఏ మంత్రి పదవి చేపట్టకుండానే ఈ పదవిలోకి వచ్చానంటే భగవంతుడు ఏదో బాధ్యత నాపై పెట్టాడని బలంగా నమ్ముతాను.
డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ గారు చెప్పినట్టు అభివృద్ధి అంటే అద్దాల మేడలు, రంగుల గోడలు కాదు. పేదవాడు ఆత్మగౌరవంతో తలెత్తుకుని బతకగలగాలి. సొంతింటి కల నిజమైనప్పుడే పేదవాడు ఆత్మగౌరవడంతో నిలబడగలుగుతాడు. అందుకోసమే తొలి విడతగా 4 లక్షల మందికి ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లను చేపట్టాం.
సన్నబియ్యంతో అన్నం తింటున్నారంటే అది వారికి ఆత్మగౌరవం. ఈరోజు రాష్ట్రంలో 3.10 కోట్ల మందికి సన్నబియ్యం అందిస్తున్నాం. 10 సంవత్సరాలుగా రేషన్ కార్డు రాక, మాకంటూ ఒక గుర్తింపు లేదని బాధ పడుతుంటే ప్రభుత్వం ఈరోజు రేషన్ కార్డులను అందిస్తోంది.
నేనేమీ మీకన్నా గొప్పవాడిని కాదు. మీలో ఒకడిని. కవులు గూడ అంజన్న, దాశరధి కృష్ణమాచార్య, కాళోజీ నారాయణ రావు, అందెశ్రీ, గద్దర్, గోరటి వెంకన్న లాంటి ఎందరో మహానుభావులు ప్రజలను చైతన్య వంతులను చేయడంలో, తెలంగాణ సమాజానికి ఒక స్ఫూర్తిని నింపడంలో ఎంతగానో కృషి చేశారు.
నిజమైన ఉద్యమకారులెవరూ ఉద్యమకారుడినని చెప్పుకోరు. చాలా మంది ఉద్యమకారులు సర్వం కోల్పోయారు. ఆస్తులు, అంతస్తులు సర్వస్వం కోల్పోయారు. ఉద్యమకారులనే గొప్ప పదాన్ని మాకు మేము ఆపాదించుకోవడం సరికాదు. అందెశ్రీ, గద్దర్ లాంటి వారు ఏమీ ఆశించకుండా ప్రజలకు ప్రేరణ ఇవ్వాలన్న ఒక సంకల్పంతో వారు నడిచారు.
దేశ స్వాతంత్య్రం సిద్ధించి వందేళ్లు పూర్తయ్యే 2047 నాటికి తెలంగాణను 3 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా తెలంగాణను తీర్చిదిద్దడమే నా లక్ష్యం. అందుకోసం నిరంతరం కృషి చేస్తా..” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చెప్పారు
ఈ పుస్తకావిష్కరణ మహోత్సవంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి కార్యాలయం ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రెటరీ శ్రీనివాస రాజు గారు, శ్రీరామ్ సర్ గారు, ప్రజా కవి అందెశ్రీ గారు, డాక్టర్ నోరి దత్తాత్రేయుడు గారు, రామకృష్ణానంద గారితో పాటు పలువురు ప్రముఖులు హాజరయ్యారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy affirmed that his ultimate mission is to make Telangana a leading developed state in the world. He said that he considers it the blessings of Lord Krishna that he has been given the opportunity to serve the people and resolve their problems.
At a program organized at TG Genco Auditorium, the Chief Minister launched the book Hasitha Bhashpalu (Poetry Collection) published by Vakkulamma Publications and congratulated the author Sriram sir and noted poet Ande Sri. Speaking on the occasion, he said:
“Coming from a simple agricultural middle-class family, it would be meaningless to use this power for personal grudges. My responsibility is to work for the welfare and development of 4 crore people. I don’t see anyone as an enemy. I believe in the theory of karma. From being a ZPTC member in 2006, an MLC in 2007, an MLA in 2009, an MP in 2014, and now the CM in 2023, the people of Telangana have entrusted me with great responsibility. Without holding any ministerial post before, reaching this position itself shows that God has placed a duty on me.”
Referring to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision, the Chief Minister said development does not mean glass houses and colored walls, but the empowerment of the poor to live with dignity. “Only when the dream of owning a house is realized can the poor live with self-respect. That is why, in a phased manner, we have taken up Indiramma Houses for 4 lakh people. Food security is another pillar of dignity. Today, we are providing rice to 3.10 crore people in the state. After years of suffering due to lack of ration cards and identity, the government is now providing them to the needy.”
He added, “I am not above you—I am one among you. Many great poets and thinkers like Guda Anjanna, Dasaradhi Krishnamacharya, Kaloji Narayana Rao, Andesri, Gaddar, and Gorati Venkanna inspired Telangana society through their words and struggles. True activists never claim to be activists. Many sacrificed everything—their property, their livelihood—for society. People like Andesri and Gaddar dedicated their lives with determination, without expecting anything in return.”
Concluding, the Chief Minister said, “My goal is to make Telangana a 3 trillion dollar economy by 2047, the centenary of India’s independence. I will work relentlessly towards this vision.”
The book launch was attended by CMO Principal Secretary Srinivasa Raju, Sriram Sir, Praja Kavi Andesri, Dr. Nori Dattatreyudu, Ramakrishnananda, and many other dignitaries.
