అమెరికా తెలంగాణల మధ్య స్నేహపూర్వక సంబంధాలు మరింత బలపడాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ఆకాంక్షించారు. అమెరికా స్వాతంత్య్ర దినోత్సవాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని హైదరాబాద్ కాన్సూల్ జనరల్ జెన్నిఫర్ లార్సన్ గారు ఇచ్చిన దౌత్యపరమైన విందులో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, అమెరికా – తెలంగాణల మధ్య వాణిజ్యపరమైన సంబంధాలు మరింత మెరుగుపరచడానికి తాము ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. తెలంగాణను 2035 నాటికి 1 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్, అలాగే 2047 నాటికి 3 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా తీర్చిదిద్దడానికి తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ దార్శనికతతో పని చేస్తున్నామని వివరిస్తూ అందుకు అమెరికన్ల మద్దతు కావాలని కోరారు.
“అమెరికాకు స్వాతంత్ర్యం సిద్ధించిన తర్వాత ప్రపంచంలో అనేక పరిణామాలు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయి. ప్రపంచం ముందు అమెరికా అనేక సానుకూలతలను ప్రదర్శించింది. ముఖ్యంగా ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి మార్గదర్శిగా, నిరంతరం ఆవిష్కరణలతో ప్రపంచ దృక్కోణాన్ని మార్చింది.
ఎల్లప్పుడూ బలమైన దేశంగా.. అనేక అంశాల్లో సానుకూల పరిష్కారాలు చూపించడంలో అమెరికా స్ఫూర్తిని ప్రదర్శించింది. అమెరికా స్ఫూర్తికి తెలంగాణ స్ఫూర్తికి మధ్య ఎంతో సారూప్యత ఉంది. స్నేహ బంధాన్ని కోరుకోవడమే కాకుండా దాన్ని మరింత పటిష్టపరుచుకోవడం తెలంగాణ ప్రత్యేకత.
2008 లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్ రాజశేఖర రెడ్డి గారి నేతృత్వంలోని ఆనాటి కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో హైదరాబాద్లో యూఎస్ కాన్సులేట్ జనరల్ కార్యాలయం ఏర్పాటైంది. స్వాతంత్రానంతరం భారతదేశంలో ప్రారంభించబడిన మొట్టమొదటి యూఎస్ దౌత్య కార్యాలయం ఇదే కావడం గమనార్హం. భారతదేశంతో దౌత్యపరమైన సంబంధాలను మెరుగుపరుచుకోవడంలో అమెరికా ఎప్పుడూ నిబద్ధతని ప్రదర్శించింది.
అమెరికాతో తెలుగు ప్రజలకు ఉన్న స్నేహపూర్వకమైన బంధం ఎంతో బలమైంది. అమెరికాలో తెలుగు భాష వేగంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతోంది. ఎంతో మంది ఇక్కడి విద్యార్థులు తమ కలలను నెరవేర్చుకోవడానికి అమెరికా వెళుతున్నారు.
హైదరాబాద్ కాన్సూల్ జనరల్ శ్రీమతి జెన్నిఫర్ లార్సన్ గారు రెండు సంస్కృతుల మధ్య, ప్రజల మధ్య, అలాగే, వాణిజ్యపరమైన సంబంధాలను పటిష్టపరచడంలో, ఇరు దేశాల మధ్య బలమైన వారధిగా నిలుస్తున్నారు.
ఐటీ, ఫార్మా, డిఫెన్స్, మాన్యుఫాక్చరింగ్, ఏరోస్పేస్ వంటి రంగాలకు చెందిన దాదాపు 200 అమెరికా కంపెనీలు హైదరాబాద్ కేంద్రంగా ప్రస్తుతం పనిచేస్తున్నాయి. జాతీయ స్థాయిలో పరస్పర విశ్వాసం, విలువల ఆధారంగా అమెరికా – భారత్ మధ్య వ్యూహాత్మక భాగస్వామ్యం కొనసాగుతోంది.
హైదరాబాద్ మరింత పురోభివృద్ధి సాధించాలని, అమెరికాలోని అత్యుత్తమైన వాటిని తెలంగాణకు తీసుకొస్తారని నేను ఆశిస్తున్నా. ఈ వేడుకలకు థీమ్గా నిర్ధేశించిన కోణంలో చెప్పాలంటే.. “ఒక్కటిగా ఉంటే.. మరింత పటిష్టంగా..” ఎదగగలమని నేను విశ్వసిస్తున్నా..” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ విందులో హైదరాబాద్ లోని అమెరికన్ కాన్సూల్ జనరల్ కార్యాలయ ప్రతినిధులు, ప్రముఖులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
On the occasion of the United States Independence Day celebrations, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy extended heartfelt wishes to the American people and participated in the diplomatic reception hosted by US Consul General in Hyderabad Ms. Jennifer Larson. The Chief Minister praised the long-standing and evolving relationship between Telangana and the United States, expressing hope for continued collaboration under the theme of the evening, “Together, Stronger.”
Reflecting on the global impact of U.S. independence, he remarked that the world changed forever with America’s freedom. He highlighted how the United States has long served as a torchbearer of democracy and a global leader in innovation. The Chief Minister garu also acknowledged the resilient American spirit – one that never accepts defeat and consistently strives to make a positive difference.
Drawing a parallel, he noted that #Telangana shares a similar spirit of resilience and growth, which underpins the strong and special bond between the people of Telangana and the UnitedStates.
He recalled that the U.S. Consul General in Hyderabad, established in 2008 under the Congress government led by Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, was the first American diplomatic mission to open in India since its independence. This milestone demonstrated the United States’ commitment to deepening its relationship with India. Today, under Ms. Jennifer Larson’s leadership, the Consulate continues to act as a vital bridge between the two cultures, peoples, and economies.
Hyderabad has emerged as a hub for nearly 200 American companies across sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, defence, manufacturing, and aerospace. The Chief Minister also highlighted the significant number of students from Telangana who pursue higher education in the U.S., reflecting their aspiration to become global citizens.
Reaffirming his government’s commitment to the Telangana Rising 2047 vision, Chief Minister garu outlined an ambitious economic roadmap: to grow the state’s economy to $1 trillion by 2035 and $3 trillion by 2047. He emphasized the need for support and collaboration from American partners to realize this vision.
At the national level, the Chief Minister garu, underscored that the India-U.S. relationship is a strategic global partnership rooted in shared values. Both countries are working to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, innovation, defence, space, and the promotion of democracy and global peace.
In conclusion, the Chief Minister expressed his hope for continued American growth in Hyderabad and reiterated his belief in building a “Together, Stronger” future for both Telangana and the United States.
