శాసనసభ ప్రాంగణంలో.. తెలంగాణ జాతి గౌరవం, నిరంతర స్పూర్తికి నిలువెత్తు ప్రతిబింబంగా, అస్తిత్వం, సంస్కృతికి ప్రతిరూపమైన శక్తి స్వరూపిణి “తెలంగాణ తల్లి” విగ్రహాన్ని రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్ శ్రీ శివ ప్రతాప్ శుక్లా గారు ఆవిష్కరించారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారితో కలిసి గవర్నర్ గారు విగ్రహాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించారు.
శాసనసభ బడ్జెట్ సమావేశాల ప్రారంభ రోజున జరిగిన ఈ ఆవిష్కరణ కార్యక్రమంలో శాసనమండలి చైర్మన్ శ్రీ గుత్తా సుఖేందర్ రెడ్డి, శాసనసభ స్పీకర్ శ్రీ గడ్డం ప్రసాద్ కుమార్, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క, శాసనమండలి డిప్యూటీ చైర్మన్ డాక్టర్ బండ ప్రకాష్ గారితో పాటు రాష్ట్ర మంత్రులు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ముందుగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారితో కలిసి గవర్నర్ గారు అసెంబ్లీ ప్రాంగణంలోని మహాత్మా గాంధీ గారి విగ్రహానికి, డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ గారి విగ్రహానికి పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించారు. అనంతరం పునరుద్ధరించిన శాసనమండలి భవనం ఎదురుగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన తెలంగాణ తల్లి విగ్రహాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించి పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించారు.
Representing the personification of the state’s identity and heritage, and symbolizing its culture and enduring spirit, the statue of “Telangana Thalli” was unveiled within the Legislative Assembly premises by the Hon’ble Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla. The statue was inaugurated in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy.
The unveiling took place on the opening day of the Legislative Assembly’s budget session, attended by a gathering of state leaders. Dignitaries included Legislative Council Chairman Shri Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Assembly Speaker Shri Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Dr. Banda Prakash, along with several state ministers, MLCs, and MLAs.
Prior to the main event, the Governor and the Chief Minister paid floral tributes at the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar within the Assembly grounds. They then proceeded to the newly installed Telangana Thalli statue, situated in front of the renovated Legislative Council building, to formally inaugurate it and offer floral respects to this emblem of the state’s cultural identity.
