శాసనసభ బడ్జెట్ సమావేశాలను పురస్కరించుకుని నిర్వహించిన ప్రజాప్రతినిధుల సాంస్కృతిక వేడుకలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు జ్యోతి ప్రజ్వలన చేసి ప్రారంభించారు.
క్రీడలు, సాంస్కృతిక శాఖల ఆధ్వర్యంలో రవీంద్రభారతిలో నిర్వహించిన ఈ వేడుకల్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారితో పాటు మండలి చైర్మన్ శ్రీ గుత్తా సుఖేందర్ రెడ్డి, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క, మంత్రులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు ఇచ్చిన ప్రదర్శనలను తలకించిన అనంతరం ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, “నిరంతరం ప్రజా సమస్యలతో క్షణం తీరిక లేకుండా ఉండే ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు క్రీడలు, వారు ప్రదర్శించిన కళలు రాష్ట్రంలోని లక్షలాది విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థులకు స్ఫూర్తిగా నిలుస్తాయి.
చాలా మంది తమ విద్యార్థి దశలో క్రీడలు, సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొన్నప్పటికీ, వృత్తి జీవితంలో స్థిరపడిన తర్వాత తమలోని కళను, నైపుణ్యాలను మరిచిపోతున్నారు.
ఈ మధ్యకాలంలో నమోదవుతున్న కేసులను పరిశీలిస్తే విద్యార్థులు కొందరు వ్యసనాలకు బానిసలవుతున్నారు. విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థుల్లో దాగి ఉన్న నైపుణ్యాన్ని వెలికితీయాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతోనే గ్రామీణ స్థాయి నుంచి రాష్ట్ర స్థాయి వరకు సీఎం కప్ పోటీలు నిర్వహించాం.
చదువులో రాణిస్తేనే భవిష్యత్తు ఉంటుందని ఆందోళన చెందాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. మైదానాల్లో రాణించినా మంచి భవిష్యత్తు ఉంటుంది.
ఉమ్మడి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో శాసనసభ బడ్జెట్ సమావేశాల సందర్భంగా క్రీడలు, సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించేవారు. తెలంగాణ ఏర్పడిన తర్వాత ఆ సంప్రదాయం కనుమరుగైంది. శాసనమండలి చైర్మన్, శాసనసభ స్పీకర్ గారి విజ్ఞప్తి మేరకు ఈ కార్యక్రమాలను పునరుద్ధరించాం.
ఇలాంటి సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాల్లో రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా అందరూ పాల్గొనాలి” అని కోరారు. అద్భుతమైన ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసినందుకు క్రీడలు, సాంస్కృతిక శాఖలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అభినందించారు.
ఈ సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమంలో ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు ఇచ్చిన వివిధ ప్రదర్శనలు ఆకట్టుకున్నాయి. మంత్రి వాకిటి శ్రీహరి గారు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు కేఆర్ నాగరాజ్ గారు, జాటోత్ రామచంద్ర నాయక్ గారు, ఆది నారాయణ గారు, శంకర్ నాయక్ గారు, వెడ్మ బొజ్జు గారు, తెల్లం వెంకట్రావు గారు, రాందాస్ మాలోత్ గారు, మందల సామెల్ గారు వివిధ సాంస్కృతిక ప్రదర్శనలు ఇచ్చారు. వారిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రత్యేకంగా అభినందించారు.
రెండు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించిన స్పోర్ట్స్, కల్చరల్ మీట్లో విజేతలకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారి చేతుల మీదుగా బహుమతులను ప్రదానం చేశారు. మండలి చైర్మన్ సుఖేందర్ రెడ్డి గారి చేతుల మీదుగా ఫుట్బాల్ మ్యాచ్లో రాణించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్లేయర్ ఆఫ్ ది మ్యాచ్ అవార్డును అందుకున్నారు.
Underscoring that a blend of artistic passion and sportsmanship is essential for holistic human growth, Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy highlighted the need for public representatives to reconnect with the creative talents often sidelined by the rigors of public service.
Speaking at the cultural program held at Ravindra Bharathi during the Legislative Assembly’s Budget Sessions, the Chief Minister—joined by Legislative Council Chairman Sri Gutha Sukhender Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Sri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka—emphasized that when leaders showcase their latent skills, they serve as a powerful beacon of inspiration for lakhs of students across the state.
Addressing the troubling trend of youth falling prey to addictions, the Chief Minister noted that initiatives like the ‘CM Cup’ were specifically designed to unearth talent from the rural level to the state stage, proving that a successful future is accessible through sports as much as academics.
He recalled that while such meets were a staple during budget sessions in the erstwhile united state, the tradition had faded after the formation of Telangana. At the request of the Council Chairman and the Assembly Speaker, the administration has now revitalized these programs to foster a healthier, more vibrant culture among the state’s leadership.
Commending the Departments of Sports and Culture for the successful event, the Chief Minister urged all representatives to rise above political differences and participate in such unifying programs. The ceremony featured captivating performances by Minister Vakiti Srihari and several legislators, including K.R. Nagaraj, Jatoth Ramachandra Naik, and others.
The event concluded with the Chief Minister presenting awards to the winners, while he himself was honored with the ‘Player of the Match’ award by Chairman Sukhender Reddy for his standout performance in the football match.
