ఆర్టీసీ సమస్యలను వంద శాతం పరిష్కరిస్తామని, కార్మికుల సంక్షేమం కోసం ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉంటుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు స్పష్టం చేశారు.

రాష్ట్ర రోడ్డు రవాణా సంస్థ టీజీఎస్ ఆర్టీసీ (TGS RTC) మ‌నుగ‌డ‌, గౌర‌వాన్ని పెంపొందించి ప్ర‌యాణికులకు మెరుగైన సేవ‌లందించేందుకు స‌మ‌గ్ర కార్యాచ‌ర‌ణ‌తో ముందుకు రావాల‌ని కార్మిక సంఘాల ప్ర‌తినిధుల‌కు ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు సూచించారు. ఆర్టీసీలో గుర్తింపు సంఘం ఎన్నిక‌లు, ప్రభుత్వంలో విలీనంపై అన్ని సంఘాల నాయ‌కులు స‌మావేశ‌మై స‌మ‌గ్ర కార్యాచ‌ర‌ణ రూపొందించాల‌న్నారు. పీఆర్సీ అంశాన్ని ప‌రిష్క‌రిస్తామ‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి గారు హామీ ఇచ్చారు.

 ఆర్టీసీ కార్మిక సంఘాల నాయకులు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారిని జూబ్లీహిల్స్ నివాసంలో కలిశారు. కార్మికుల సమస్యల పరిష్కారం కోసం చొరవ తీసుకున్నందుకు ఈ సందర్భంగా కార్మిక సంఘాల నాయకులు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారికి కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.

 ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ గుర్తింపు సంఘం ఎన్నిక‌లు, విలీనంపై ఏవిధంగా ముందుకు పోవాల‌నే దానిపై సంఘాల నాయ‌కులు స‌మావేశ‌మై ప్ర‌భుత్వం ఎదుట ఆప్ష‌న్లు ఉంచాల‌ని సూచించారు. ఒక‌వేళ యూనియ‌న్ల మ‌ధ్య ఏకాభిప్రాయం కుద‌ర‌క‌పోతే ఏ యూనియ‌న్‌కు ఆ యూనియ‌న్ త‌మ ఆప్ష‌న్లు ఇస్తే కామ‌న్‌గా ఉన్న వాటికి ఆమోదం తెలిపి.. భిన్నాభిప్రాయాలు ఉన్న వాటిపై చ‌ర్చిద్దామ‌ని చెప్పారు.

 ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికుల 3 రోజుల సమ్మె కాలానికి వేతనాలు ఇవ్వాలని, సమ్మె కాలంలో పెట్టిన కేసులు ఎత్తివేయాలని కార్మిక సంఘాల ప్రతినిధుల విజ్ఞప్తిపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు సానుకూలంగా స్పందించారు. 3 రోజుల వేతనం ఇచ్చేందుకు, కేసుల ఎత్తివేతకు అంగీకరించారు. అందుకు అవసరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారిని, అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

 కార్మిక సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులతో జరిగిన ఈ సమావేశంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, సంస్థ అభివృద్ధి, మ‌నుగ‌డ‌, గౌర‌వాన్ని పెంపొందించి ప్ర‌జ‌ల‌కు మంచి సేవ‌లు అందించాలన్న కార్య‌చ‌ర‌ణ కోసం ముందుకు వ‌చ్చినందుకు కార్మిక నాయకులకు అభినంద‌న‌లు తెలిపారు.

 “నేను వేరు, మీరు వేరు అన్న భావ‌న నాకు ఎప్పుడు లేదు. అంద‌రం క‌లిస్తేనే ప్ర‌భుత్వం. ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికుల పోరాటాల్లో మేం ఉన్నాం. ఆర్టీసీలో బ‌స్సుల‌ను పెంచాం, నియామ‌కాలు పెంచాం, ఆదాయం పెంచాం. ప్ర‌జ‌ల‌కు సేవ‌లు అందించే విష‌యంలో కార్మికులు ప‌ట్టుద‌ల‌తో ప‌నిచేయ‌డం వ‌ల్ల‌నే ఆర్టీసీ దేశంలోనే గొప్ప సంస్థ‌గా నిలిచింది.

 గాజుల‌రామారంలో బస్ టెర్మిన‌ల్ కోసం 100 ఎక‌రాలు కేటాయించాం. శంషాబాద్‌లో 150 ఎక‌రాల్లో అంత‌ర్జాతీయ స్థాయి బ‌స్ టెర్మిన‌ల్ నిర్మిస్తాం. 1000 ఈవీ బ‌స్సులు కొనుగోలు చేసి మెట్రోతో అనుసంధానం చేస్తున్నాం. అలాగే, మినీ బ‌స్సులు కొనుగోలు చేసి ఆర్టీసీకి అంద‌జేయాల‌నుకుంటున్నాం” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చెప్పారు.

 “డీజీల్‌పైన ఆర్టీసీ ప్ర‌తి యేడాది 2000 కోట్లు ఖ‌ర్చు చేస్తుంది. డీజీల్ ఖ‌ర్చు త‌గ్గించుకోవ‌డానికి ఈవీ బ‌స్సుల‌ను తీసుకురావాలి. ఆదాయం పెర‌గాలంటే ఖ‌ర్చు త‌గ్గించుకోవాలి. దీని కోసం ప‌క్కా ప్ర‌ణాళిక కావాలి. ఆర్టీసీలో బ‌కాయిలు మా హ‌యాంలో పెట్టిన‌వి కావు. కాని వాటిని క్లియ‌ర్ చేయ‌డానికి ప్ర‌య‌త్నం చేస్తున్నాం. పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న కారుణ్య నియామాల‌ను ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టింది” అని వివరించారు.

 “ఆర్టీసీ స‌మ‌స్య‌లు ఏవైనా నా దృష్టికి వ‌స్తే వెంట‌నే ప‌రిష్క‌రించాను. యూనియన్లు, విలీనం లాంటి అంశాల‌పైన ప్ర‌ణాళిక బ‌ద్దంగా కార్మిక సంఘాలే చ‌ర్చించుకుని నిర్ణ‌యం చెప్పాలి. ఆర్థిక అంశాల‌తో కూడా పీఆర్సీ లాంటి వాటిపైన ప్ర‌భుత్వం నిర్ణ‌యం తీసుకుంటుంది. శాశ్వ‌త ప‌రిష్కారం కోసం చ‌ర్చించుకుని ప్ర‌భుత్వం ముందు ఆప్ష‌న్స్ పెట్టాలి” అని సూచించారు.

 “రాజ‌కీయాల ప్ర‌భావానికి లోనైతే సంస్థ‌కు న‌ష్టం జ‌రుగుతుంది. ఆర్టీసీ అప్పుల పైన ఉన్న వ‌డ్డీ భారాన్ని త‌గ్గించ‌డానికి ప్ర‌య‌త్నాలు చేస్తున్నాం. సంస్థ‌ల‌ను బ‌లోపేతం చేసుకుని నిల‌బెట్టుకోవ‌డానికి కార్మికులు స‌హ‌క‌రించాలి” అని కోరారు.

 “ఆర్టీసీలో ఒక్క డ్రైవ‌ర్‌ను కూడా త‌గ్గించం. మ‌హాల‌క్ష్మీ ప‌థ‌కం పెట్ట‌డం ద్వారా 8 వేల కోట్ల రూపాయ‌ల‌ను ఆర్టీసీకి ఇచ్చాం. ఆర్టీసీని బాగు చేసుకునే అవ‌కాశం కార్మికుల‌పైనే ఉంది. కార్మికులు, డిపో మేనేజ‌ర్ల మ‌ధ్య గ్యాప్ రాకుండా అధికారులు చూడాలి.

 ఆర్థికంగా ప్రభుత్వానికి ఇబ్బందులు ఉన్న‌ప్ప‌టికి ఉద్యోగుల బ‌కాయిలు తీర్చ‌డానికి ప్ర‌య‌త్నం చేస్తున్నాం. ఈసారి ఉద్యోగుల‌కు 1000 కోట్ల రూపాయల బ‌కాయిలు విడుద‌ల చేశాం” అని చెప్పారు.

 “సంస్థ ఆగిపోతే ఊపిరిపోయిన‌ట్లే. సంస్థ‌కు న‌ష్టం జ‌రిగే ప‌నులు చేయొద్దు. కార్మికులు, ఆర్టీసీ యాజ‌మాన్యం మ‌ధ్య ఎప్పుడూ స్నేహా పూర్వ‌క వాతావ‌ర‌ణం ఉండాలి. ప్ర‌భుత్వం ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికుల హ‌క్కుల‌ను కాపాడుతుంది” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు స్పష్టంగా చెప్పారు.

The survival, dignity, and service quality of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGS RTC) must be enhanced through a comprehensive action plan, suggested Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy to labor union representatives. He stated that leaders of all unions should meet to formulate a strategic roadmap regarding the recognition of union elections and the merger with the government, while also promising to resolve the PRC issue.

 The problems of the Road Transport Corporation (TGS RTC) will be resolved 100 percent and the government remains committed to the welfare of the workers, clarified the Chief Minister. He requested the full cooperation of the workers in strengthening and sustaining the organization.

 At his Jubilee Hills residence, leaders of the RTC labor unions met the Chief Minister to discuss these developments. On this occasion, the labor union leaders thanked the Chief Minister for taking the initiative to resolve the workers’ long-standing problems.

 This program was attended by Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MPs Anil Kumar Yadav and Vem Narender Reddy, several public representatives, senior government officials, and the RTC MD.

 Union leaders should meet and present clear options to the government on how to proceed regarding the recognition of union elections and the merger, the Chief Minister suggested during the session. He stated that if a consensus is not reached among the unions, each union could provide its own options; the government would then approve the common points and discuss those where there are differences of opinion.

 A positive response was given by the Chief Minister to the request of the labor union representatives to pay wages for the three-day strike period and to drop the cases filed against workers at that time. He agreed to provide the three-day wages and to lift the cases, directing Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and the officials to take the necessary action immediately.

 The labor leaders were congratulated by the Chief Minister during the meeting for coming forward with an action plan to enhance the development, survival, and dignity of the organization to provide better services to the people.

 “I have never felt that I am different from you; we are all the government together,” said the Chief Minister. He noted that the administration has already increased the number of buses, recruitment, and revenue, crediting the hard work of the workers for making RTC a premier organization in the country.

 Plans are underway to build an international-standard bus terminal on 150 acres in Shamshabad, in addition to the 100 acres already allocated for a terminal in Gajularamaram. The Chief Minister added that the government is purchasing 1,000 EV buses for Metro integration and is planning to acquire mini-buses for the RTC.

 Since RTC spends 2,000 crore every year on diesel, EV buses must be introduced to reduce costs and increase income, he explained. While the arrears in RTC were not created during his tenure, he confirmed the government is trying to clear them and has already undertaken pending compassionate appointments.

 Any RTC issues brought to his notice are resolved immediately, the Chief Minister suggested, but emphasized that labor unions themselves should discuss and decide on issues like unions and mergers in a planned manner. He noted that the government will take the final decision on financial matters like the PRC once options are presented.

 The organization will suffer if it is influenced by politics, he warned, requesting that workers cooperate to reduce the interest burden on debts and strengthen the corporation.

 No driver positions will be reduced in the RTC, he assured, noting that 8,000 crore rupees has already been provided to the RTC through the Mahalakshmi scheme. He urged officials to ensure that no communication gap arises between the workers and the depot managers.

 Despite financial difficulties, the government is trying to clear all employee arrears, having recently released 1,000 crore rupees for this purpose.

 “If the organization stops, it is like losing breath,” the Chief Minister said clearly, urging everyone not to do things that cause loss to the institution. He emphasized that a friendly atmosphere must always exist between the workers and the RTC management to protect workers’ rights.
