లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ రంగానికి సంబంధించి హైదరాబాద్లో పెట్టుబడులకు ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని విధాలుగా సహాయ సహకారాలు అందిస్తుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఈ రంగంలో హైదరాబాద్ కేంద్రంగా ఇప్పటికే అనేక సంస్థలు గ్లోబల్ కేపబిలిటీ సెంటర్లను ఏర్పాటు చేశాయని పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలకు వివరించారు.
హైదరాబాద్లో అత్యంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మక బయోఏషియా 2026 ప్రపంచస్థాయి సదస్సు ప్రారంభమైన సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారితో కలిసి లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ రంగంలో ప్రపంచ దిగ్గజ కంపెనీల ప్రతినిధులతో భేటీ అయ్యారు.
జీవవైజ్ఞానిక రంగంలో జీసీసీలు, ముఖ్యంగా ఇన్నొవేషన్ సెంటర్ల ఏర్పాటుకు అనుగుణంగా భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో ప్రత్యేకమైన జోన్ను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు సంకల్పించారు.
దిగ్గజ కంపెనీల భేటీ సందర్భంగా పెట్టుబడులకు సంబంధించి కుదిరిన పలు ఒప్పందాలు:
గ్లోబల్ కన్స్యూమర్ హెల్త్కేర్ కంపెనీ అయిన ఒపెలా హెల్త్కేర్, 42 వేల చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంలో జీసీసీ త్వరలోనే కార్యకలాపాలను విస్తరించనుంది. ఈ సంస్థ వచ్చే ఏడాదిలోపు 500 ఉద్యోగాలను కల్పిస్తుంది.
ఇండొనేషియాకు చెందిన జేఏపీఎఫ్ఏ అంతర్భాగమైన వాక్సిండో ఎనిమల్ హెల్త్కేర్ విభాగం జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీలో అత్యాధునిక బీఎస్ఎల్-3 వ్యాక్సిన్ తయారీ కేంద్రాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేస్తుంది. ఈ కేంద్రం కోళ్లు, పశువులు, స్వైన్, ఆక్వాకల్చర్ రంగానికి అవసరమైన వ్యాక్సీన్లను ఉత్పత్తి చేస్తుంది.
ప్రముఖ ఏఐ, డేటా సైన్స్ కంపెనీ ట్రిడెన్స్ ఇన్కార్పొరేషన్ హైదరాబాద్ కేంద్రంగా ఏఐ-ఆధారిత హెల్త్ కేర్, లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్పై కార్యకలాపాలను విస్తరించనుంది. ఈ కేంద్రం సుమారు 18 వేల చ. అడుగుల ప్రత్యేకమైన ఇన్నొవేషన్ హబ్ను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తుంది.
భారతదేశ లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ వ్యవస్థను మరింత బలోపేతం చేయడానికి ఆర్ఎక్స్ ప్రొపెల్లెంట్ హైదరాబాద్లోని జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీలో పెద్ద ఎత్తున లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ క్యాంపస్ను నెలకొల్పుతుంది. దాదాపు 12 ఎకరాల స్థలంలో 1 మిలియన్ చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంతో అన్ని మౌలిక సదుపాయాలతో అత్యాధునిక పరిశోధనా కేంద్రం ఏర్పాటు చేస్తుంది. వచ్చే ఆరేళ్లలో ఈ సంస్థ పూర్తిస్థాయి కార్యకలాపాలను నిర్వహిస్తుంది.
ఈ భేటీలో తెలంగాణ ఇండస్ట్రీయల్ ఇన్ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్ కార్పొరేషన్ చైర్మన్ శ్రీమతి నిర్మలా జగ్గారెడ్డి గారు, స్పెషల్ చీఫ్ సెక్రటరీ శ్రీ సంజయ్ కుమార్ గారు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy reiterated that the Government of Telangana is committed to extending all necessary support to companies seeking to invest in Hyderabad’s life sciences sector. He noted that several leading global life sciences companies have already established their Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Hyderabad, further strengthening the city’s position as a premier investment destination.
On the sidelines of BioAsia 2026, the prestigious global life sciences conference being held in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister, along with Industries and IT Minister Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, met with top executives and representatives of leading international life sciences companies to discuss investment opportunities and expansion plans.
Building on this momentum, the Chief Minister proposed the development of a dedicated GCC zone in Bharat Future City, with a special focus on attracting global innovation centres in the biosciences sector.
Details of Investments Announced:
Opella Healthcare – The France-headquartered global consumer healthcare company, spun off from Sanofi, is expanding its GCC operations in Hyderabad with a 42,000 sq. ft. facility. The expansion is expected to generate up to 500 jobs over the next year.
Vaksindo Animal Health Pvt. Ltd. – A division of Indonesia’s JAPFA Group, the company will establish a state-of-the-art BSL-3 vaccine manufacturing facility in Genome Valley. The facility will focus on producing vaccines for poultry, cattle, swine, and aquaculture sectors.
Tredence Inc. – The AI and data science company will expand its Hyderabad operations through a dedicated 18,000 sq. ft. innovation hub focused on AI-driven healthcare and life sciences analytics, supporting its global operations.
Rx Propellant – The company will develop a large-format life sciences campus in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, comprising over 1 million sq. ft. of advanced laboratory infrastructure spread across nearly 12 acres. The project will be delivered in phases over the next six years.
Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Chairman Smt. Nirmala Jaggareddy and Special Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar also participated in the meeting.
