వజ్రాల గురించి దశాబ్దాలు, శతాబ్దాలు చర్చించినా కోహినూర్ వజ్రానికి పోటీ లేనట్టే.. కవులు, కళాకారులు ఎంత మంది ఉన్నా, ఎవరి గురించి చర్చించినా రేపటి తెలంగాణ చరిత్రలో అందెశ్రీ గారు మొదటి స్థానంలో నిలబడుతారని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు అన్నారు.
అందెశ్రీ గారి కీర్తిని తెలంగాణ చరిత్రలో శాశ్వతం చేయడంలో ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని చర్యలు తీసుకోవడమే కాకుండా ఆ కుటుంబాన్ని అన్ని విధాలుగా ఆదుకుంటామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
హైదరాబాద్ రవీంద్రభారతిలో నిర్వహించిన అందెశ్రీ గారి సంతాప సభలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు.
జీవితంలో బడి ముఖమే చూడని సహజకవి అందెశ్రీ గారు రాసిన జయ జయహే తెలంగాణ.. గీతం ఈరోజు ప్రతి బడిలో పాడుకునేంతగా యావత్ తెలంగాణ సమాజాన్ని ప్రభావితం చేసిన గొప్ప కవి అని కొనియాడారు.
“బడికి వెళ్లని, బడి ముఖమే చూడని అందెశ్రీ అన్న జయ జయహే తెలంగాణ.. అంటూ ముక్కోటి గొంతుకలను ఏకం చేసి ఈ తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమాన్ని ఉవ్వెత్తున నడిపితేనే రాష్ట్ర కల నిజమైంది. ఉస్మానియా, కాకతీయ యూనివర్సిటీలే కాదు. ప్రపంచంలోని ప్రతి మూలన ఉన్న గుండెకు జయ జయహే తెలంగాణ.. చేర్చి ఒక ఉద్యమ స్ఫూర్తిని నింపిన గొప్ప తెలంగాణ బిడ్డ అందెశ్రీ.
నాలుగు కోట్ల తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు పాడుకున్నది. కోరుకున్నదే.. జయ జయహే తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర గీతంగా ప్రకటించడమే కాకుండా చదువు చెప్పే ప్రతి పుస్తకంలో రాయాలని ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం ఆ గీతాన్ని పాఠ్య పుస్తకాల్లో మొదటి అంశంగా చేర్చాం.
బాధతో ఉద్వేగంతో ఈ మాట చెబుతున్నా. ఉద్యమంలో స్ఫూర్తిని నింపిన జయ జయహే తెలంగాణ… స్వరాష్ట్రం సాకారమైన తర్వాత ఆ గీతం రాష్ట్రీయ గీతంగా అధికారిక హోదా లభిస్తుందని 4 కోట్ల ప్రజలు ఆశించారు.
తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం ఎవరు చేశారంటే అందెశ్రీ, గద్దర్, గోరటి వెంకన్న, ఒక జయరాజ్ చేశారన్న చర్చ వస్తుందని గత పాలకుల హయాంలో ఆ గీతం మూగబోయింది. పెన్నే కదా అని మన్నుకప్పితే గన్నులై మొలకెత్తుతాయి.. గన్నులై గడీలే కుప్పుకూలుతయన్న నినాదాన్ని అందెశ్రీ గారు నిజం చేశారు.
ఉమ్మడి రాష్ట్రంలో సీమాంధ్రకు సంబంధించిన సమైక్య వాదులు ఈ తెలంగాణపై ఆధిపత్యం చెలాయిస్తున్నప్పుడు గద్దరన్న, గూడ అంజన్న, అందెశ్రీ, గోరటి వెంకన్న.. వారి ఆధిపత్యానికి చెరమగీతం పాడాల్సిందేనని, తెలంగాణకు విముక్తి కల్పించాల్సిందేనని మలి దశ ఉద్యమానికి పునాదులు వేశారు.
రాచరికం హద్దు దాటినప్పుడు, తెలంగాణ నేలను చెరబట్టాలని, ఈ నేలపై ఆధిపత్యం చెలాయించాలని అనుకున్నప్పుడల్లా ఈ గడ్డపై పుట్టిన కవులు, కళాకారులు, తమ దుప్పటి దుమ్ము దులిపి దిగంతాలకు తరిమిన చరిత్ర ఈ నేలకు ఉంది.
సర్వం త్యాగం చేసి ఏమీ ఆశించకుండా, ఆలోచించకుండా 5 దశాబ్దాల పని చేసిన ఆ కుటుంబాన్ని ఆదుకోవడం ప్రభుత్వ బాధ్యత. గద్దర్, అందెశ్రీ, ఈ ప్రజా పాలన కోసం శాయశక్తులా పనిచేశారు. వారి పోరాట స్ఫూర్తిని మేము ఎవరూ మరిచిపోలేనిది.
అందెశ్రీ గారి కుటుంబంలో ఉద్యోగం ఇవ్వడంతో పాటు స్మతివనం కట్టాలనుకున్నాం. అందెశ్రీ గారి నిప్పుల వాగు పుస్తకాన్ని ప్రతి లైబ్రరీలో ఉండే విధంగా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నాం. భవిష్యత్తులో కూడా వారి కుటుంబాన్ని ఆదుకునే బాధ్యతను ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటుంది.
ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాటై ఏడాది పూర్తి చేసుకున్న తరుణంలో 9 మంది ఉద్యమ కారులు, కవులు, కళాకారులను సన్మానించుకోవడమే కాకుండా వారికి 300 గజాల ఇంటి స్థలాన్ని కూడా కేటాయించాం. వారు ఆత్మగౌరవంతో బతకేలా భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో వారికి ఇండ్లు కట్టించే కార్యక్రమాన్ని కూడా తీసుకోవాలని మంత్రి దామోదర రాజనర్సింహ గారికి సూచిస్తున్నా.
అందెశ్రీ గారి పేరిట జానపద విశ్వవిద్యాలయంతో పాటు సభలో వక్తలు చేసిన సూచనలపైన ప్రత్యేక సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేసి అవసరమైన నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటాం.. నాకు అత్యంత ఆప్తుడు. మనసుకు చాలా దగ్గరివాడు. అందెశ్రీ గారి యాదిలో ఈ సంస్మరణ సభ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన వారికి మనస్పూర్తిగా అభినందనలు..” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు దామోదర రాజనర్సింహ గారు, పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారు, అడ్లూరి లక్ష్మణ్ కుమార్ గారు, ఎమ్మెల్సీ, పీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు బొమ్మ మహేష్ కుమార్ గౌడ్ గారు, పలువురు ఎంపీలు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, అందెశ్రీ గారి సతీమణి మల్లుబాయి గారితో పాటు కవులు, రచయితలు, కళాకారులు, మేధావులు ఈ సంస్మరణ సభలో పాల్గొని అందెశ్రీ గారికి నివాళులర్పించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy asserted that Ande Sri will stand foremost among Telangana poets and artists, stating that just as the Kohinoor diamond remains unparalleled despite centuries of discussion about precious stones, Ande Sri’s contribution is truly unique and enduring.
He assured that the government will not only take all steps to perpetuate the fame of Ande Sri in the history of Telangana, but will also support his family in every way.
The Chief Minister participated in and addressed the condolence meeting of Ande Sri organized at Rabindra Bharathi in Hyderabad.
The natural poet Ande Sri, who never saw the face of a school in his life, was praised as a great poet who influenced the entire Telangana society to the extent that his song “Jaya Jayahe Telangana” is sung in every school today.
“Ande Sri, who did not go to school or even see the face of a school, united three crore voices and led this Telangana movement with great enthusiasm. Not only Osmania and Kakatiya Universities, but Ande Sri, the great son of Telangana, spread ‘Jaya Jayahe Telangana’ to hearts in every corner of the world and filled the spirit of the movement.”
Four crore Telangana people sang it. What they wanted—”Jaya Jayahe Telangana”—was not only declared as the state anthem, but the government has included that song as the first subject in the textbooks.
“I am saying this with pain and emotion. ‘Jaya Jayahe Telangana’, which filled the spirit of the movement… 4 crore people expected that the song would get official status as the national anthem after the realization of Swarastra (Self-Rule/Statehood).”
“There is a debate about who spearheaded the Telangana movement: Ande Sri, Gaddar, Gorati Venkanna, or Jayaraj. During the reign of the previous rulers, that song had become mute. I read the lines: ‘If you cover a pen with dust, it will sprout like a gun.’ Ande Sri made the slogan that guns will sprout and fortresses (‘Gadis’) will collapse true.”
“When the unity advocates of Seemandhra were dominating Telangana in the united state, Gaddaranna, Guda Anjanna, Ande Sri, and Gorati Venkanna laid the foundations of the ‘Mali Dasa’ (Second Phase) movement, challenging their dominance and emphasizing that Telangana must be liberated.”
“Whenever the monarchy crossed the line, whenever they wanted to conquer the land of Telangana and dominate this region, this land has a history of poets and artists born on it dusting off their blankets and chasing the invaders to the horizon.”
“It is the government’s responsibility to support the family that sacrificed everything and worked for five decades without expecting anything. Gaddar, Ande Sri, and others worked hard for the people’s governance. None of us can forget their fighting spirit.”
“We wanted to build a memorial (Smriti Vanam) in addition to providing a job to Ande Sri’s family. We are taking steps to ensure that Ande Sri’s book ‘Nippula Vagu’ (River of Fire) is available in every library. The government will take responsibility for supporting his family in the future as well.”
“On the occasion of completing one year of the people’s government, we have not only honored nine activists, poets, and artists, but also allocated 300 square yards of house space for them. I suggest Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha take up a program to build houses for them in Bharat Future City so that they can live with self-respect.”
“We will organize a special meeting in the name of Ande Sri and take necessary decisions on the suggestions made by the speakers in the assembly. He is very dear to me, very close to my heart. I wholeheartedly thank those who organized this memorial assembly in Ande Sri’s memory. Congratulations,” said the Chief Minister.
In this program, Ministers Damodar Rajanarsimha, Ponnam Prabhakar, Adluri Laxman Kumar, MLCs, PCC President Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, several MPs, public representatives, Ande Sri’s wife Mallubai, along with poets, writers, artists, and intellectuals participated in this memorial meeting and paid tribute to Ande Sri.
