తెలంగాణ వేదికగా జరిగిన జైళ్ల శాఖ 7వ జాతీయ స్థాయి డ్యూటీ మీట్ 2025 లో పతకాలు సాధించిన క్రీడాకారులను ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు అభినందించారు. ఈ నెల 9 నుంచి 11 వ తేదీ వరకు 7 వ ‘అఖిల భారత ప్రిజన్ డ్యూటీ మీట్- 2025’ హైదరాబాద్ వేదికగా జరిగింది.
దేశంలోని వివిధ రాష్ట్రాలు పాల్గొన్న ఈ డ్యూటీ మీట్ పోటీల్లో మొత్తం 133 పతకాల్లో తెలంగాణ 28 (21 బంగారు, 3 కాంస్య) పతకాలు సాధించింది. డ్యూటీ మీట్ ముగిసిన సందర్భంగా అధికారులు విజేతలతో కలిసి మర్యాద పూర్వకంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారిని కలిశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పతకాలు సాధించిన వారందరినీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అభినందించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో హోం శాఖ ప్రత్యేక ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి రవి గుప్తా గారు, జైళ్ల విభాగం డీజీ సౌమ్య మిశ్రా గారితో పాటు ఇతర ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy congratulated the athletes of the Prisons Department who won medals at the 7th National Level Duty Meet-2025 held in Telangana. The 7th All India Prison Duty Meet-2025 took place in Hyderabad from the 9th to the 11th of this month.
Out of a total of 133 medals, Telangana secured 28 medals — including 21 gold and 3 bronze — showcasing remarkable performance in the competitions where teams from various states participated.
At the conclusion of the duty meet, the winners, accompanied by senior officials, called on the Chief Minister. On this occasion, the Chief Minister warmly congratulated all the medal winners.
Special Principal Secretary (Home) Shri Ravi Gupta, Director General of Prisons Smt. Soumya Mishra, and other senior officials were present during the meeting.
