మొంథా తుపాను వల్ల తీవ్ర ప్రభావానికి గురైన వరంగల్, హనుమకొండ తదితర ప్రాంతాల్లో వరద బాధితుల కోసం సహాయక చర్యలను మరింత ముమ్మరం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. వరద ప్రభావత ప్రాంతాలకు వెంటనే అవసరమైనన్ని పడవలను పంపించాలని, వివిధ జిల్లాల్లో అందుబాటులో ఉన్న ఎస్డీఆర్ఎఫ్ సిబ్బందిని తక్షణమే తరలించాలని ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి గారిని, రాష్ట్ర డీజీపీ గారిని ఆదేశించారు.
వరంగల్, హనుమకొండ నగరాల్లో వరద సహాయక చర్యలపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మంత్రులు, ఉన్నతాధికారులతో వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా పరిస్థితిని సమీక్షించారు. అత్యవసరమైన ప్రాంతాల్లో సహాయక చర్యల కోసం, హైడ్రా సిబ్బందిని, హైడ్రా వద్ద ఉన్న వరద సహాయక సామగ్రిని వినియోగించాలని ఆదేశించారు.
ముంపు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉన్న ప్రజలను వెంటనే సురక్షిత ప్రాంతాలకు తరలించాలని చెప్పారు. వరద ప్రాంతాల్లో ఎక్కడైనా ఇండ్ల కప్పులు, బంగ్లాల్లో చిక్కుకున్న కుటుంబాలకు డ్రోన్ల ద్వారా అవసరమైన ఆహారం, మంచినీటిని సరఫరా చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.
పరిస్థితులను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పర్యవేక్షిస్తూ ఎలాంటి లోటుపాట్లు లేకుండా అప్రమత్తతతో సహాయక చర్యలను ముమ్మరం చేయాలని చెప్పారు. ఎలాంటి ప్రాణనష్టం వాటిల్లకుండా సహాయక చర్యల్లో పాల్గొనాలని ఆదేశించారు.
వాతావరణ పరిస్థితుల నేపథ్యంలో ఈరోజు తలపెట్టిన వరంగల్ జిల్లా పర్యటనను వాయిదా వేసుకున్న ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు గురువారం రోజున వరంగల్, హుస్నాబాద్ తదితర ప్రాంతాల్లో ఏరియల్ సర్వే నిర్వహించాలని నిర్ణయించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to intensify relief and rescue operations for people severely affected by Cyclone Montha in Warangal, Hanumakonda and adjoining areas. He directed the Chief Secretary and the State DGP to immediately deploy adequate boats to the flood-hit regions and to swiftly mobilise SDRF personnel from various districts to support ongoing rescue efforts.
The Chief Minister held a video conference with Ministers and senior officials to review the flood situation and relief measures in Warangal and Hanumakonda. He directed that Hydra personnel and the flood-relief equipment available at Hydra be promptly utilised for emergency operations in the most affected areas.
The Chief Minister instructed that people in inundated localities be immediately evacuated to safer zones. He also ordered that essential food and drinking water be supplied through drones to families stranded on rooftops and in flooded houses.
He emphasised the need for round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and directed officials to carry out relief operations vigilantly and efficiently, ensuring that there is no loss of life.
In view of the prevailing weather conditions, the Chief Minister postponed his scheduled visit to Warangal district and decided to conduct an aerial survey of Warangal, Husnabad and surrounding areas on Thursday.
