Amid the impact of El Niño and climate change, a special conclave on climate-related challenges will be held on December 8 as part of the Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026 to discuss immediate measures and long-term solutions.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy reviewed the summit arrangements with Ministers and senior officials at Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat. The three-day summit will be held from December 7 to 9 at the Young India Skills University campus in Bharat Future City.
The review covered the venue, exhibition halls, international invitations and programme arrangements. The Chief Minister directed officials to appoint a liaison officer for every delegate, share complete information in advance, ensure a hassle-free experience, invite Chief Ministers of other States and make robust security arrangements with dedicated departmental and security officers. Special invitations should be extended to companies interested in investment agreements and setting up industries. A comprehensive plan must be ready by November 15.
Officials said this year’s summit would be larger than last year’s Telangana Rising Summit, with six exhibition halls against one earlier. The summit will focus on investments, industries, technology, innovation and employment, featuring the Raksha Expo, India Joy, Startup Pavilion, Pharma and Life Sciences Expo, Agriculture and Allied Sectors Exhibition, Telangana Pavilion, Education Expo and Climate Conclave.
The Raksha Expo will showcase defence, aerospace, space and cybersecurity equipment, drones and robotics, besides aerial demonstrations. So far, 49 organisations have shown interest. India Joy-2026 will focus on animation, visual effects, gaming and comics.

Officials informed that 52 sector-specific sessions would be held across four main halls, with 25 sector-specific Executive Councils. The Chief Minister asked the Cabinet Sub-Committee, headed by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and comprising Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, to regularly review the arrangements.

The Chief Minister directed officials to identify climate-related challenges and formulate immediate measures and a long-term action plan. He stressed that the conclave should play a decisive role in developing a dedicated strategy to address drought and climate challenges in the State.
