ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ‘ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్-2026’ అవార్డును స్వీకరించారు. కేరళం రాష్ట్రంలోని నిలంబూర్లో ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యక్రమంలో ఎంపీ, పబ్లిక్ అకౌంట్స్ కమిటీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీ కేసీ వేణుగోపాల్ గారి చేతుల మీదుగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఈ అవార్డును అందుకున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ గారి జ్ఞాపకార్థం ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ప్రతిష్టాత్మక అవార్డును అందుకోవడం ఎంతో గౌరవంగా భావిస్తున్నానని అన్నారు. ఎంపిక చేసిన జ్యూరీ సభ్యులకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు. ఈ ప్రతిష్టాత్మక అవార్డుకు కేరళ వెలుపల నుంచి ఎంపికైన తొలి వ్యక్తిని కావడం మరింత గౌరవంగా భావిస్తున్నానని పేర్కొన్నారు.
“నేను కేరళం వచ్చిన ప్రతిసారీ ఎంతో ఆత్మీయ స్వాగతం లభించింది. రాహుల్ గాంధీ గారి నాయకత్వంలో సాగిన భారత్ జోడో యాత్ర కోసం ఇక్కడికి వచ్చాను. అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల సమయంలో కూడా ఇక్కడికి వచ్చాను. కేరళం నాకు ఎంతో ఆత్మీయమైనది. కేరళం ప్రజలు లౌకికవాదానికి కట్టుబడి ఉన్నందుకు కృతజ్ఞతలు” అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
“ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ గారు ఒక గొప్ప రాజకీయ నాయకుడు. ఎనిమిదిసార్లు ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ప్రజలకు సేవలందించారు. పలువురు ముఖ్యమంత్రుల వద్ద నాలుగుసార్లు మంత్రిగా పనిచేశారు. కేరళం రాజకీయాల్లో ఆయన ఒక చాణక్యుడిలా ఉండేవారు” అని అన్నారు.
ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ గారు నిలంబూర్లోనూ, కేరళంలోనూ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి ఒక మహావృక్షంలా ఉండేవారని గుర్తుచేశారు. ఆయన తన జీవితమంతా స్వేచ్ఛ, ప్రజాస్వామ్యం, లౌకికవాదం, రాజ్యాంగ పరిరక్షణ కోసం పోరాడారని చెప్పారు. రాజ్యాంగ పరిరక్షణ కోసం ఆర్యదాన్ గారి స్ఫూర్తితో మనమంతా కలిసికట్టుగా పోరాటం చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఆర్యదాన్ ముహమ్మద్ ఫౌండేషన్ చైర్మన్ ఆర్యదాన్ షౌకత్ గారు, కేరళం మంత్రులు, పలువురు ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy received the prestigious ‘Aryadan Mohammed-2026’ Award at a programme organised by the Aryadan Mohammed Foundation in Nilambur, Keralam. He received the award from MP and Public Accounts Committee Chairman Sri K.C. Venugopal.
The Chief Minister said it was a great honour to receive the award instituted in memory of Aryadan Mohammed and thanked the jury members for selecting him. He noted that he is the first person from outside Keralam to receive the prestigious award.
Recalling his visits to Keralam, he said he had always received a warm welcome and thanked the people of Keralam for their commitment to secularism.
Describing Aryadan Mohammed as a great political leader who served as an MLA eight times and as a Minister four times, he recalled his lifelong fight for freedom, democracy, secularism and protection of the Constitution.
The Chief Minister called for a united effort, inspired by Aryadan Mohammed, to protect the Constitution. Aryadan Mohammed Foundation Chairman Aryadan Shoukath, Keralam Ministers and several public representatives attended the programme.
