తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా నిర్వహించనున్న ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ గ్లోబల్ సమ్మిట్-2026కు హాజరు కావాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు కేంద్ర రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ రాజ్నాథ్ సింగ్ గారిని ఆహ్వానించారు. భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో డిసెంబర్ 7 నుంచి 9వ తేదీ వరకు సదస్సు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. సదస్సులో భాగంగా నిర్వహించే డిఫెన్స్ ఎక్స్పో 2026ను ప్రారంభించాలని ఈ సందర్భంగా కేంద్ర మంత్రి గారిని కోరారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పలువురు ఎంపీలతో కలిసి ఢిల్లీలో కేంద్ర మంత్రి రాజ్నాథ్ సింగ్ గారితో భేటీ అయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పలు అంశాలపై చర్చించారు. రక్షణ ఎక్స్పోలో ఏరోస్పేస్, డిఫెన్స్, స్పేస్ రంగాలకు సంబంధించిన ప్రత్యేక సదస్సుతో పాటు ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ఎయిర్షో, పారిశ్రామిక ప్రదర్శన, భూ రక్షణ వ్యవస్థల ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రదర్శనలు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు.
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా రక్షణ రంగ పరిశ్రమలు, స్టార్టప్లు, యువ శాస్త్రవేత్తలు పాల్గొనే డిఫెన్స్ ఎక్స్పోకు రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రి హాజరై మార్గనిర్దేశం చేస్తే, ఎంతో స్ఫూర్తిదాయకంగా ఉంటుందని అన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్లో నిర్వహించే రక్షణ ఎక్స్పో-2026కు స్వాగతం పలికేందుకు తమ ప్రభుత్వం ఎదురుచూస్తోందని వివరించారు.
అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రమాణాలతో రక్షణ ఎక్స్పో-2026ను విజయవంతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు రక్షణ శాఖ సహకరించాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రి గారికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ఎయిర్షో నిర్వహణకు అవసరమైన గగనతల అనుమతులు ఇవ్వడంతో పాటు భారత వైమానిక దళానికి చెందిన విమానాలు, సూర్యకిరణ్, సారంగ్ ఏరోబాటిక్ బృందాలు ప్రదర్శనలో పాల్గొనేలా సహకరించాలని కోరారు.
స్టాటిక్ ఎయిర్క్రాఫ్ట్ ప్రదర్శనకు కూడా సహకరించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు కోరారు. సైనిక, నౌకా, వైమానిక దళాలకు చెందిన అత్యాధునిక రక్షణ వ్యవస్థలను ప్రదర్శనలో ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని, త్రివిధ దళాల ఉన్నతాధికారులు, ప్రతినిధులు భాగస్వాములు కావాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
హెచ్ఏఎల్, బీఈఎల్, బీడీఎల్, ఎండీఎల్ తదితర రక్షణ ప్రభుత్వ రంగ సంస్థలు, DRDO ప్రయోగశాలలు రక్షణ ఎక్స్పోలో విస్తృతంగా పాల్గొని స్వదేశీ రక్షణ సాంకేతికతను ప్రదర్శించాలని కోరారు. విదేశీ రక్షణ శాఖ ప్రతినిధులు, ద్వైపాక్షిక రక్షణ ప్రతినిధి బృందాలు, అంతర్జాతీయ రక్షణ సంస్థల ప్రముఖులతో సమావేశాలు నిర్వహించేందుకు కేంద్ర రక్షణ శాఖ సహకరించాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
ఆదిలాబాద్ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్కు సంబంధించి రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఇప్పటికే 750 ఎకరాలు భూసేకరణ చేపట్టిందని రాజ్నాథ్ సింగ్ గారికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వివరించారు. రక్షణ శాఖ కోరినట్లు మొత్తం 1500 ఎకరాలు కోరినందున, మరో 750 ఎకరాలు సేకరించి ఇచ్చేందుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నట్టు తెలిపారు.
మహబూబ్నగర్ జిల్లా దేవరకద్ర మండలంలో రక్షణ పరిశోధన, అభివృద్ధి ప్రయోగశాల (DRDL) ఆధ్వర్యంలో చేపట్టనున్న ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ప్రాజెక్టుకు 416.18 ఎకరాల భూమిని కేటాయించేందుకు ఇప్పటికే TGIIC అంగీకరించిందని చెప్పారు. ఎకరానికి కాకుండా మొత్తం భూమికి సంవత్సరానికి కేవలం రూ. 1 నామమాత్రపు లీజు అద్దెతో 33 సంవత్సరాల కాలానికి భూమిని కేటాయించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. అవసరమైతే దానిని మరో రెండుసార్లు లీజు పొడిగించుకునే అవకాశం ఉందని చెప్పారు.
కేంద్ర మంత్రి గారితో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో రాష్ట్ర శక్తి శాఖ మంత్రి గడ్డం వివేక్ వెంకటస్వామి గారు, ఎంపీలు అనిల్ కుమార్ యాదవ్ గారు, డాక్టర్ మల్లు రవి గారు, సురేష్ కుమార్ షెట్కార్ గారు, పోరిక బలరాం నాయక్ గారు, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు (ప్రొటోకాల్) హర్కర వేణుగోపాల్ రావు గారు, ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి సంజయ్ జాజు గారు పాల్గొన్నారు.
The Telangana Government is set to host the prestigious Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026 from December 7–9 at Bharat Future City. Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy invited Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Sri Rajnath Singh to attend the summit and inaugurate Defence Expo-2026.
The Chief Minister, along with several MPs, met Defence Minister Sri Rajnath Singh in Delhi and discussed key issues. He outlined plans for a dedicated Aerospace, Defence & Space conference, air show, industrial exhibition and live demonstrations of land-based defence systems.
The Chief Minister noted that the Defence Minister’s participation and guidance would inspire defence industries, startups and young scientists from across the country. The Telangana Government looks forward to welcoming him to Defence Expo-2026 in Hyderabad.
He requested the Defence Ministry’s support for an international-standard Defence Expo, including airspace clearances and participation of Indian Air Force aircraft, the Surya Kiran and Sarang aerobatic teams.
The Chief Minister also sought support for a static aircraft display, showcasing advanced defence systems of the Army, Navy and Air Force, and participation of senior officers and representatives of the three Services.
He requested extensive participation by HAL, BEL, BDL, MDL and other defence PSUs, along with DRDO laboratories, to showcase indigenous defence technologies. Support was also sought for meetings with foreign defence representatives, bilateral delegations and global defence industry leaders.
On Adilabad Airport, the Chief Minister informed the Defence Minister that the State has already acquired 750 acres and is ready to acquire an additional 750 acres, as sought by the Defence Ministry, taking the total to 1,500 acres.
For a prestigious DRDL project in Devarakadra Mandal of Mahabubnagar district, TGIIC has agreed to allot 416.18 acres. The land will be leased for 33 years at a nominal annual rent of ₹1 for the entire parcel, with provision for two further extensions if required.
Telangana Minister Sri Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, MPs Sri Anil Kumar Yadav, Dr. Mallu Ravi, Sri Suresh Kumar Shetkar and Sri Porika Balram Naik, State Government Advisor (Protocol) Sri Harkara Venugopal Rao and Chief Secretary Sri Sanjay Jaju attended the meeting.
