రాష్ట్రంలోని మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్లతో పాటు ఇతర ప్రాంతాలకు సంబంధించి మెగా గ్రోత్ కారిడార్ల్లో ఏకరీతి అభివృద్ధి ప్రణాళికలను అమలు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు అధికారులకు ఆదేశించారు. వరంగల్, కరీంనగర్, ఖమ్మం కార్పొరేషన్ల అభివృద్ధి చేసే గ్రోత్ కారిడార్ భవిష్యత్తు తెలంగాణకు అత్యంత కీలకమని చెప్పారు. అందుకు అనుగుణంగా ఆ మూడు నగరాలకు ఔటర్ రింగ్ రోడ్లను నిర్మించాలని పేర్కొన్నారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో మెగా గ్రోత్ కరిడార్ల అభివృద్ధి, వాటి ప్రణాళికలపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఎంసీఆర్ హెచ్ఆర్డీలో మున్సిపల్ వ్యవహారాలు, పట్టణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ ఉన్నతాధికారులతో సమీక్ష సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. తెలంగాణలోని ప్రతిపాదిత మెగా గ్రోత్ కారిడార్ల అభివృద్ధి ప్రణాళికలపై అధికారులకు పలు సూచనలు చేశారు.
“మహబూబ్నగర్, భూత్పూర్, జడ్చర్లను కలుపుతూ గ్రోత్ కారిడార్ ఏర్పాటు ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాలి. కొత్తగూడెం, పాల్వంచ, సుజాతనగర్ కలిపి గ్రోత్ కారిడార్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి.
నల్గొండ, యాదగిరిగుట్ట మధ్య టెంపుల్ కారిడార్ను, ఆదిలాబాద్, నాగోబా, బాసర, కడెం ప్రాజెక్టులను కలుపుతూ టూరిజం కారిడార్ ఏర్పాటు కావాలి.
కృష్ణా పుష్కరాలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని అలంపూర్ జోగులాంబ ఆలయ అభివృద్ధి ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేయాలి.
సింగరేణి పరిధిలో ఉన్న అన్ని మున్సిపాలిటీలను ఒక యూనిట్గా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలి. సింగరేణి సంస్థ సీఎస్ఆర్ నిధులను స్థానికంగానే ఖర్చు చేయాలి.
ఘన వ్యర్థాల నిర్వహణ ప్లాంట్లు, రింగ్ రోడ్లు, మురుగునీటి శుద్ధి ప్లాంట్లు, భూగర్భ డ్రైనేజీ వ్యవస్థలతో పాటు ఇతర అంశాలన్నీ గ్రోత్ కారిడార్లలో స్పష్టంగా ఉండాలి.
తెలంగాణలో రాబోయే విమానాశ్రయాలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని అభివృద్ధి ప్రణాళికలు, పనులు చేపట్టాలి. వరంగల్ విమానాశ్రయం ఏర్పాటుతో ఆ ప్రాంతం రూపురేఖలు పూర్తిగా మారుతాయి. ఆ విమానాశ్రయానికి కావలసిన నీటి అవసరాలను కూడా దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకోలి. ఆదిలాబాద్ ఎయిర్ పోర్ట్ను రక్షణ శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఏర్పాటు కాబోతుంది.
గ్రోత్ కారిడార్లలో వచ్చే 25 ఏళ్లకు సరిపోయేలా ప్రతిదీ స్పష్టంగా డిజైన్ చేయాలి.
నగరాల్లో ఖర్చును తగ్గించుకోవడానికి ఈవీ వాహనాలను ప్రవేశపెట్టాలి. లీజుకు తీసుకునే వాహనాలు కూడా ఈవీ వాహనాలే ఉండాలి.
ప్రతి చోట పునరుత్పాదక విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి చేసుకునేలా ప్రణాళికలు ఉండాలి. మున్సిపాలిటీలలో సోలార్ విద్యుత్ ప్లాంట్లను నిర్మించాలి. ప్రధానంగా నగరాలు, పట్టణాల్లో రేడియేషన్ తగ్గించడానికి మల్టీ యుటిలిటీ టవర్స్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి.
నగరాలు, పట్టణాల్లో సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించడానికి ప్రధానంగా ట్రాఫిక్ నియంత్రణకు సంబంధించి ఏఐ వినియోగం కోసం సాంకేతిక నిపుణుల సలహాలు తీసుకోవాలి.
భూగర్భ డ్రైనేజీ, స్మార్ట్ పోల్స్, రోడ్లు, ఎస్టీపీలు, పునరుత్పాదక విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి, ఈవీ వంటి అంశాల పైన ప్రతి చోట ఒకే విధమైన ప్రణాళికతో ముందుకు వెళ్లాలి..” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అధికారులకు సూచించారు.
In a strategic move to ensure balanced regional progress, Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy has ordered the implementation of uniform development blueprints across Mega Growth Corridors and municipal corporations statewide. Recognizing the growth corridors encompassing Warangal, Karimnagar, and Khammam as pivotal to the future of Telangana, the Chief Minister directed the immediate planning and construction of Outer Ring Roads (ORRs) for these three key urban centers.
Presiding over a high-level review at MCR HRD with senior officials from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, the Chief Minister evaluated the proposed frameworks for the Mega Growth Corridors. The session focused on delivering precise instructions to modernize the state’s urban landscape through structured and sustainable expansion.
The state government intends to establish a dedicated growth corridor interconnecting Mahabubnagar, Boothpur, and Jadcherla. In a similar vein, officials were instructed to integrate Kothagudem, Palwancha, and Sujathanagar into a unified growth corridor to catalyze economic activity in the region.
To promote the state’s cultural and natural heritage, a Temple Corridor was proposed between Nalgonda and Yadagirigutta, alongside a specialized Tourism Corridor linking Adilabad, Nagoba, Basara, and the Kadem project.
Specific instructions were issued to prepare comprehensive development plans for the Alampur Jogulamba Temple, prioritizing infrastructure readiness in view of the upcoming Krishna Pushkarams.
A directive was issued to develop all municipalities within the Singareni belt as a single, cohesive administrative unit. Additionally, the Chief Minister mandated that Singareni’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds be utilized exclusively for local development projects within those municipal limits.
Future growth corridor designs must explicitly incorporate essential modern amenities, including solid waste management facilities, ring roads, sewage treatment plants (STPs), and advanced underground drainage systems.
Urban planning is to be aligned with the state’s upcoming aviation projects, specifically noting that the Warangal Airport will fundamentally transform the regional economy. Provisions for the airport’s water requirements must be secured, while the Adilabad Airport will proceed under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence.
All infrastructure projects within the Growth Corridors must be designed with a 25-year foresight, ensuring that the systems remain robust and scalable to meet long-term demographic demands.
To reduce the carbon footprint and minimize municipal expenditures, the adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) was strongly advocated. It was further specified that any vehicles procured on a lease basis by the departments must be electric.
Strategic blueprints must prioritize renewable energy self-sufficiency, focusing on the installation of solar power plants within all municipalities. To address urban environmental concerns, the deployment of Multi-Utility Towers was recommended to mitigate radiation levels.
To resolve complex urban challenges such as traffic congestion, the Chief Minister suggested engaging technical experts to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for more efficient and intelligent city management.
The Chief Minister concluded by emphasizing a standardized developmental approach across the state, ensuring that underground drainage, smart poles, road networks, and renewable energy initiatives are implemented with absolute uniformity.
