హైదరాబాద్ క్యూర్ పరిధిలో నిర్మించే ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు జనావాసాల పరిధిలోనే ఉండేలా చూడాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఔటర్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు లోపల వివిధ శాఖలకు సంబంధించి నిరుపయోగంగా ఉన్న స్థలాలను గుర్తించాలని అధికారులకు చెప్పారు.
కోర్ అర్బన్ ఏరియా (క్యూర్) లో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మంత్రులు పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి గారు, పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారితో పాటు వివిధ శాఖల ఉన్నతాధికారులతో సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు.
పలు నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ఇప్పటికే గుర్తించిన స్థలాల గురించి అధికారులు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారికి వివరించారు. పోలీస్, రెవెన్యూ, రవాణా శాఖలకు సంబంధించి గుర్తించిన నిరుపయోగ స్థలాలను తీసుకుని, ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా సంబంధిత శాఖలకు వేరేచోట స్థలాన్ని కేటాయించాలని ఆదేశించారు.
జనావాసాలకు దూరంగా ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లను కేటాయిస్తే.. ఉద్యోగ, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలకు ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తడంతో పాటు అవి నిరుపయోగంగా మారే అవకాశం ఉందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. పని ప్రదేశాలకు దగ్గరగా, జనావాసాల పరిధిలోనే ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు నిర్మించేలా చూడాలని చెప్పారు. దీని వల్ల నిరుపేదలు జీవనోపాధి కోల్పోకుండా ఉంటారని తెలిపారు.
క్యూర్ ఏరియాలో పలు నియోజకవర్గాల్లో నిరుపేదలకు ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు నిర్మించి ఇస్తామని ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. ఒక్కో ఫ్లాట్ దాదాపు 528 చదరపు అడుగుల విస్తీర్ణంతో, 400 చదరపు అడుగుల కార్పెట్ ఏరియాతో నిర్మించనున్నారు.
ఒక్కో ఇంటి నిర్మాణానికి దాదాపు ₹ 11 లక్షలు ఖర్చవుతుండగా, ప్రభుత్వం ఇందులో ₹ 5 లక్షల మేరకు సబ్సిడీని అందిస్తోంది. మిగిలిన ₹ 6 లక్షలు లబ్ధిదారుడి వాటాగా చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. భూమికయ్యే ఖర్చు మొత్తం ప్రభుత్వమే భరిస్తోంది.
తొలి దశలో 17 నియోజకవర్గాల్లో 7, 680 ఫ్లాట్లు నిర్మించి ఇచ్చేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేస్తోంది. రాజేంద్రనగర్, మహేశ్వరం, శేరిలింగంపల్లి, ఇబ్రహీంపట్నం, మల్కాజ్గిరి, నాంపల్లి, ఖైరతాబాద్, జూబ్లీహిల్స్, కార్వాన్, బహదూర్పురా, అంబర్పేట్, కూకట్పల్లి, మేడ్చల్, కుత్బుల్లాపూర్, సనత్నగర్, సికింద్రాబాద్ కంటోన్మెంట్, మలక్పేట్ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లను నిర్మించనుంది.
ఈ నియోజకవర్గాల పరిధిలో నిరుపయోగంగా ఉన్న ప్రభుత్వ స్థలాలను గుర్తించే ప్రక్రియను వేగవంతం చేయాలని అధికారులను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆదేశించారు.
Indiramma Houses (Indiramma Indlu) in the Hyderabad Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) will be developed within existing residential areas to ensure beneficiaries have better access to employment and livelihood opportunities, Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy directed officials. He also instructed officials to identify unused government land belonging to various departments within the Outer Ring Road.
The Chief Minister reviewed the implementation of Indiramma Housing in the CURE region with Ministers Sri Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Sri Ponnam Prabhakar, along with senior officials. He directed that unused land belonging to departments such as Police, Revenue and Transport be identified, with alternative land allotted to the respective departments wherever required.
Stating that housing developed far from residential areas could affect employment and livelihood opportunities and eventually remain unoccupied, the Chief Minister stressed that Indiramma Housing should be built close to beneficiaries’ workplaces and within established residential areas.
In the first phase, the government plans to construct 7,680 flats across 17 Assembly constituencies in the CURE region. Each flat will have a built-up area of about 528 sq. ft. with a 400 sq. ft. carpet area.
The construction cost of each flat is estimated at around ₹11 lakh. The government will provide a ₹5 lakh subsidy, while beneficiaries will contribute the remaining ₹6 lakh. The entire cost of land will be borne by the government.
