ప్రఖ్యాత ష్నైడర్ ఎలక్ట్రిక్ ఇండియా (Schneider Electric IN) సంస్థ తెలంగాణలో తన కార్యకలాపాలను మరింతగా విస్తరించనుంది. దావోస్ ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక వేదిక 2026 సదస్సు (WEF2026)లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారి నాయకత్వంలోని ‘తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్’ ప్రతినిధి బృందం, ష్నైడర్ ఎలక్ట్రిక్ ఇండియా సీఈఓ శ్రీ దీపక్ శర్మ గారితో నిర్వహించిన చర్చల అనంతరం, సంస్థ 623 కోట్ల రూపాయలతో విస్తరణ కార్యక్రమాలను ప్రకటించింది.
విద్యుత్ రంగంలో గణనీయమైన మార్పులు, ఇంధన మార్పిడి (ఎనర్జీ ట్రాన్సిషన్), విద్యుత్ నిల్వ ప్రాజెక్టులు, గ్రిడ్ ఆధునీకరణ, విద్యుత్ సామర్థ్యం పెంపు, ఇండస్ట్రియల్ పార్కులు, పట్టణ మౌలిక వసతుల కోసం డిజిటల్ విద్యుత్ నిర్వహణ వంటి అంశాలపై సమావేశంలో చర్చించారు.
ష్నైడర్ ఎలక్ట్రిక్ ఇండియా, ప్రస్తుత గాగిల్లాపూర్, శంషాబాద్లోని యూనిట్ల విస్తరణ కోసం రూ. 623 కోట్లను పెట్టుబడిగా పెట్టనుంది. దీని ద్వారా ఎయిర్ సర్క్యూట్ బ్రేకర్లు (ACB), మోల్డెడ్ కేస్ సర్క్యూట్ బ్రేకర్లు (MCCB), కాంటాక్టర్లు, పుష్ బటన్లు వంటి ముఖ్యమైన ఎలక్ట్రికల్ భద్రతా ఉత్పత్తుల తయారీ సామర్థ్యం పెరుగనుంది.
తెలంగాణకు పెట్టుబడులను ఆకర్షించడంలో పరిశ్రమలు, ఐటీ శాఖ మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారి కృషిని ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అభినందించారు. 2047 నాటికి నెట్-జీరో అభివృద్ధి లక్ష్యాల సాధనలో సుస్థిరత (సస్టైనబిలిటీ) కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తుందని అన్నారు.
దీపక్ శర్మ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, ష్నైడర్ ఎలక్ట్రిక్ తెలంగాణలో నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి కోసం 38 కేంద్రాలను నిర్వహిస్తోందని, ప్రత్యేకించి ఇంధన నిర్వహణ, పారిశ్రామిక ఆటోమేషన్, డిజిటల్ ట్రాన్స్ఫర్మేషన్ తదితర రంగాల్లో అందిస్తున్న సేవలను వివరించారు.
At the World Economic Forum (WEF 2026) in Davos, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy-led ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation met Mr Deepak Sharma, CEO, Schneider Electric India, and secured a fresh investment commitment for Telangana.
Schneider Electric India will invest ₹623 crore to expand its existing Gagillapur and Shamshabad facilities, enhancing manufacturing capacity for key electrical safety products, including Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), contactors, and push buttons.
The discussions also covered collaboration on energy transition and storage projects, including grid modernisation, energy efficiency, and digital power management for industrial parks and urban infrastructure.
The delegation further explored opportunities to expand smart manufacturing capacity in Telangana for energy management, automation, and EV-related components.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu welcomed the investment and reiterated that sustainability remains central to Telangana’s pursuit of a Net-Zero development target by 2047.
Mr Sharma noted that Schneider Electric India has 38 development centres for skilling in Telangana and continues to strengthen its presence in the state.
