ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్, సెమీకండక్టర్, ఆర్టిఫిషియల్ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్ రంగాల్లో చేపడుతున్న కార్యక్రమాలను వేగవంతం చేసే దిశగా తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం దావోస్లో కాలిఫోర్నియాకు చెందిన బ్లైజ్ (Blaize) సంస్థతో అవగాహన ఒప్పందం (ఎంవోయూ) కుదుర్చుకుంది. డేటా సెంటర్ ఆర్టిఫిషియల్ కంప్యూటింగ్కు తక్కువ శక్తి వినియోగించే ఏఐ హార్డ్వేర్, ఫుల్-స్టాక్ సాఫ్ట్వేర్ను బ్లైజ్ సంస్థ అభివృద్ధి చేస్తోంది.
వరల్డ్ ఎకనమిక్ ఫోరం సదస్సులో బ్లైజ్ కో-ఫౌండర్, సీఈఓ శ్రీ దినాకర్ మునగాలా గారు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారితో ప్రత్యేకంగా సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా జరిగిన చర్చల అనంతరం ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకున్నారు.
ఇప్పటికే బ్లైజ్ సంస్థ హైదరాబాద్లో రీసెర్చ్ అండ్ డెవలప్మెంట్, ఇంజినీరింగ్ సెంటర్ను నిర్వహిస్తోంది. తమ ఆర్ అండ్ డీ సెంటర్ను విస్తరించాలని భావిస్తోంది. హెల్త్కేర్ డయాగ్నోస్టిక్స్, మాన్యుఫ్యాక్చరింగ్ ఆటోమేషన్, ఎనర్జీ ఎఫిషియెన్సీ వంటి రంగాల్లో ఏఐ ద్వారా పరిష్కారాలను పైలట్ ప్రాజెక్టులుగా అమలు చేసే అవకాశాలపై కూడా చర్చ జరిగింది.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, తెలంగాణను ఏఐ డేటా సెంటర్ హబ్గా తీర్చిదిద్దడం.. వచ్చే రెండు దశాబ్దాల్లో 3 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వృద్ధి లక్ష్యానికి అత్యంత కీలకమని అన్నారు.
ఆర్టిఫిషియల్ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్, డేటా సెంటర్లు, క్వాంటం కంప్యూటింగ్, హార్డ్వేర్, ఆటోమేషన్ రంగాల్లో తెలంగాణ వేగంగా ముందుకు సాగుతోందని అన్నారు. దేశంలోనే టెక్నాలజీ హబ్గా తెలంగాణ వృద్ధి సాధిస్తోందని పేర్కొన్నారు. బ్లైజ్ సంస్థ హైదరాబాద్ ఆర్ అండ్ డీ యూనిట్ విస్తరణకు ప్రభుత్వం తగిన మద్దతు అందిస్తుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, రాష్ట్రంలో తెలంగాణ ఏఐ ఇన్నోవేషన్ హబ్ ప్రారంభిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. ఏఐ రంగంలో పెట్టుబడులు, పరిశోధనలు, ఆవిష్కరణలకు ఇది వ్యూహాత్మక కేంద్రంగా పని చేస్తుందని వివరించారు. హైదరాబాద్ను ప్రపంచ స్థాయి ఏఐ గమ్యస్థానంగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలనేది తమ ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
A significant stride in Telangana’s push to emerge as a global hub for next-generation technologies was marked at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, as the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy-led Telangana Rising delegation entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Blaize, a California-based company specialising in energy-efficient AI hardware and full-stack software for data-centre AI computing.
The MoU was finalised during a meeting with Shri Dinakar Munagala, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blaize, and focuses on accelerating Telangana’s initiatives in electronics, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Blaize, which works with partners across Asia on hybrid AI infrastructure for smart cities and industrial solutions, operates a dedicated R&D and engineering centre in Hyderabad. During the discussions, both sides deliberated on the state’s support for scaling up Blaize’s Hyderabad R&D centre and strengthening advanced AI engineering capabilities.
Expressing delight over the collaboration, the Chief Minister said that Telangana’s ambition to become a leading AI data-centre hub is central to the state’s vision of achieving a $3 trillion economy over the next two decades. “Telangana is rapidly emerging as a progressive, technology-driven state, with high-impact initiatives across artificial intelligence, data centres, quantum computing, advanced hardware, and automation,” he said.
Minister for IT and Industries Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu stated that the government is launching the Telangana AI Innovation Hub (TAIH), envisioned as the state’s strategic nerve centre for AI-led growth. The hub aims to drive investments, research, and innovation, positioning Hyderabad as a premier global destination for artificial intelligence. The Minister welcomed Blaize’s intent to expand its R&D operations in Hyderabad and assured the company of full support in developing advanced AI talent.
The meeting also explored potential industry use-cases, including pilot deployments of AI solutions in healthcare diagnostics, manufacturing automation, and energy efficiency, aligning with Telangana’s broader goal of leveraging emerging technologies for inclusive and sustainable growth.
