బాసర నుంచి భద్రాచలం వరకు గోదావరి నదీతీరం వెంట ఉన్న అన్ని ఆలయాలను అభివృద్ధి చేయాలన్న సంకల్పంలో భాగంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు జయశంకర్ భూపాలపల్లి జిల్లాలోని శ్రీ కాళేశ్వర ముక్తేశ్వర స్వామి దేవస్థానం పునరుద్ధరణకు భూమి పూజ నిర్వహించారు.
గోదావరి పుష్కరాల నాటికి శాశ్వత ప్రాతిపదికన దేవాలయాలను అభివృద్ధి చేయాలన్న లక్ష్యం మేరకు 198 కోట్ల రూపాయలతో చేపట్టిన పునరుద్ధరణ పనులకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. ఇదే సందర్భంలో కాళేశ్వరం బస్ స్టేషన్ నిర్మాణానికి శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు.
మంత్రులు ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారు, దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారు, వివేక్ వెంకటస్వామి గారు, అడ్లూరి లక్ష్మణ్ కుమార్ గారు, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి గారు, ఇతర ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, నేషనల్ డ్యామ్ సేఫ్టీ అథారిటీ చైర్మన్ అనిల్ జైన్ గారితో పాటు అధికారులు భూమి పూజ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు
ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ముందుగా శ్రీ కాళేశ్వర ముక్తేశ్వర స్వామి వారిని దర్శించుకుని ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. అర్చకులు వేదాశీర్వచనం అందించారు.
As part of the Government’s initiative to develop all major temples along the banks of the Godavari River—from Basara to Bhadrachalam— Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy performed the Bhoomi Puja for the renovation of the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy Temple in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
The foundation stone was laid for renovation works estimated at ₹198 crores, aimed at comprehensive development of the temple in preparation for the Godavari Pushkarams. On the same occasion, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Kaleshwaram Bus Station.
Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Vivek Venkatswamy, Adluri Laxman Kumar and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy along with public representatives, National Dam Safety Authority Chairman Anil Jain, and senior officials, participated in the Bhoomi Puja ceremony.
Earlier, the Chief Minister offered special prayers at the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy Temple, following which temple priests rendered Vedic blessings (Vedashirvachanam).
