హైదరాబాద్లో క్యాంపస్ ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు యూనివర్సిటీ ఆఫ్ లండన్ (UoL) కృషి చేస్తోందని ఆ విద్యా సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులు తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారికి తెలిపారు.
ఈ మేరకు యూనివర్సిటీ ఆఫ్ లండన్లోని సెనేట్ హౌస్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ ప్రతినిధి బృందానికి నాయకత్వం వహిస్తూ నిర్వహించిన రౌండ్ టేబుల్ సమావేశంలో నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో రాష్ట్ర పరిశ్రమలు, ఐటీ శాఖ మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, ప్రభుత్వ అధికారులు కె రామకృష్ణారావు గారు, జయేశ్ రంజన్ గారు పాల్గొన్నారు. యూనివర్సిటీ ఆఫ్ లండన్ ప్రతినిధులతో వారు సుదీర్ఘంగా సమావేశమయ్యారు.
ఈ భేటీలో లండన్ స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ ఎకనామిక్స్ అండ్ పొలిటికల్ సైన్స్ (LSE), స్కూల్ ఆఫ్ ఓరియంటల్ అండ్ ఆఫ్రికన్ స్టడీస్ (SOAS)కు చెందిన ప్రతినిధి బృందాలు, ఇతర ప్రతినిధులు కూడా ఉన్నారు.

యూనివర్సిటీకి చెందిన వివిధ స్కూళ్లు, విభాగాల ద్వారా విస్తృత స్థాయిలో విద్యా కోర్సులు, వివిధ విద్యా కార్యక్రమాలను అందించేలా ఈ క్యాంపస్ను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని యోచిస్తున్నట్టు వివరించారు.
యూనివర్సిటీ ఆఫ్ లండన్కు చెందిన వివిధ విద్యా విభాగాలను ఒకే అకడమిక్ ఫెడరేషన్గా అనుసంధానించే విధంగా ఈ కార్యక్రమాలు కొనసాగనున్నాయి.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy garu led the official Telangana Rising delegation to the Senate House at the University of London for a roundtable discussion.
Industries and IT Minister Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu garu, along with officials Shri K. Ramakrishna Rao and Shri Jayesh Ranjan, met with the University of London delegation, including representatives from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and other institutions.
The University of London is working towards establishing a campus in Hyderabad, offering a wide range of educational courses and programmes across various schools and departments within its academic federation.
The University of London team included Ms. Kavita Reddi, Ms. Ruth Kattumuri (LSE), Mr. Paul Madden, Prof. Funmi Olonifakin, Dr. Sky Zheng, and Mr. Keith Harrison.
