సమాజాభివృద్ధికి చేసే కార్యక్రమాలను ఖర్చుగా కాకుండా భాగస్వామ్యంగా చూడాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు అన్నారు. కార్పొరేట్ సోషల్ రెస్పాన్సిబిలిటీ (సీఎస్ఆర్) నిధులకు సంబంధించి వివిధ కార్పొరేట్ కంపెనీల ప్రతినిధులతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు సమావేశమయ్యారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడుతూ, కంపెనీలు సీఎస్ఆర్కు చేస్తున్న వ్యయం వందకు వంద శాతం సత్ఫలితాలు ఇచ్చేలా ఉండాలన్నారు. తమ ప్రభుత్వం విద్య, వైద్యం, జల వనరుల సంరక్షణకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తుందని తెలిపారు. కంపెనీలు వీటితో పాటు తమకు ఇష్టమైన ఏ రంగాన్నైనా ఎంచుకొని సీఎస్ఆర్ నిధులు వినియోగించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు సూచించారు.
ప్రభుత్వంతో పాటు కంపెనీలు కలిపి చేసే వ్యయంతో తెలంగాణ విద్యార్థులను ప్రపంచ స్థాయి నైపుణ్యం కలిగిన వారిగా తీర్చిదిద్ది భవిష్యత్ అవకాశాలను వారు అందిపుచ్చుకునేలా తయారు చేయగలమని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అన్నారు. విద్యపై పెట్టే వ్యయాన్ని తాము భవిష్యత్ తరాలపై పెట్టే పెట్టుబడిగా భావిస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు.
రాష్ట్రంలోని విద్యార్థుల సంఖ్యలో హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలోనే 44 శాతం ఉన్నారని.. వారికి నాణ్యమైన విద్య అందించాల్సిన బాధ్యత మన అందరిపైన ఉందన్నారు. కంపెనీలు స్థానికంగా ఉన్న అన్ని మౌలిక వసతులను వినియోగించుకుంటున్నందున తమ సీఎస్ఆర్ నిధుల్లో ఎక్కువ మొత్తాన్ని అదే ప్రాంత అభివృద్ధికి కేటాయించాలని కోరారు.
సీఎస్ఆర్ నిధుల వినియోగంలో ఇప్పటి వరకు సరైన విధానం లేనందున దీని కోసమే తాము ఒక ప్రత్యేక ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శిని నియమించామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు. కంపెనీల ప్రతినిధులు ఆ అధికారితో సమన్వయం చేసుకొని తమకు ఆసక్తి ఉన్న విద్య, వైద్యం, జల వనరులు, నైపుణ్య శిక్షణ, వారసత్వ కట్టడాల పరిరక్షణ, అడవుల సంరక్షణ ఇలా దేనికైనా సీఎస్ఆర్ నిధులు వినియోగించవచ్చని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు సూచించారు.
ఇప్పటికే రహేజా గ్రూప్ రూ.50 కోట్లు, రాంకీ గ్రూప్ రూ.50 కోట్లు, యశోద ఫౌండేషన్ రూ.10 కోట్లు విద్యాభివృద్ధికి కేటాయించేందుకు ముందుకు వచ్చాయని.. వారికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.
కంపెనీల ప్రతినిధులు స్పందిస్తూ సీఎస్ఆర్ నిధుల విషయంలో ఇప్పటి వరకు ఇలా ఎవరూ తమను సంప్రదించలేదని తెలిపారు. ఈ విషయంలో చొరవ తీసుకున్నందుకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారికి అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. పాఠశాల విద్య, ఆసుపత్రులు, వారసత్వ కట్టడాల పరిరక్షణకు వారు ఆసక్తి చూపారు.

Initiatives aimed at social development should be seen as a partnership rather than mere expenditure, said Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy, while holding a meeting with representatives of various corporate companies on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that CSR expenditure by companies should be utilized in a manner that delivers 100 percent tangible outcomes. He noted that the government prioritizes education, healthcare, and conservation of water resources, while encouraging companies to also support sectors of their choice.
He expressed confidence that through joint efforts of the government and corporate sector, students of Telangana can be equipped with world-class skills and be prepared to seize future opportunities. He stated that investment in education is an investment in future generations.
The Chief Minister pointed out that 44 percent of the state’s student population is concentrated in Hyderabad, and emphasized that providing quality education to them is a shared responsibility. He urged companies to allocate a significant portion of CSR funds towards the development of the regions where they operate.
He further informed that, in order to streamline CSR fund utilization, the government has appointed a dedicated Special Chief Secretary. Company representatives may coordinate with the designated official to channel CSR funds into sectors such as education, healthcare, water resources, skill development, heritage conservation, and forest protection.
The Chief Minister appreciated the Raheja Group, Ramky Group, and Yashoda Foundation for coming forward to contribute ₹50 crore, ₹50 crore, and ₹10 crore respectively towards education.
Company representatives stated that such a structured engagement on CSR had not been undertaken earlier and appreciated the initiative of Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy. They expressed interest in supporting school education, hospitals, and heritage conservation.
