సినిమా రంగం కూడా ఒక గొప్ప పరిశ్రమగా, తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధిలో భాగస్వామ్యం చేయాలన్నది ప్రభుత్వ ఆలోచన అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు చెప్పారు. సినిమా పరిశ్రమను రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం గుర్తించడంతో పాటు అభివృద్ధికి అన్ని రకాలుగా సహకారం అందిస్తుందని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
సినీ నిర్మాత అల్లు అరవింద్ గారి కుటుంబం కోకాపేటలో నిర్మించిన దేశంలోని అతిపెద్ద డోల్బీ అల్లు సినిమాస్ (Allu Cinemas)ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడుతూ, తెలంగాణలో ఐటీ, ఫార్మా రంగాల తరహాలో సినిమా ఇండస్ట్రీగా ఎదగాలని ఆకాంక్షించారు.
సినిమాలు మధ్య తరగతి వారిపై అత్యంత ప్రభావం చూపిస్తున్నాయని, జీవితంలో కొన్ని నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోవడానికి, సామాజిక కోణంలో సినిమాలు అత్యంత ప్రభావం చూపిస్తాయని అన్నారు.
హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాలను చూడటం కాకుండా మనం తీయగలిగే స్థాయికి ఎదగాలని కోరారు. ఇక్కడి సినిమా రంగం ఒక నాలెడ్జ్ హబ్గా ఎదగాలని, నాలెడ్జ్ హబ్ క్రియేట్ చేసినప్పుడే గొప్పగొప్ప సినిమాలు తీయగలమని అన్నారు. తెలుగు సినిమా రంగం పాన్ ఇండియాతో కాకుండా హాలీవుడ్తో పోటీ పడాలన్నారు.
అల్లు అరవింద్ కుటుంబం ఎంతో ఇష్టంతో నిర్మించిన ఈ డాల్బీ థియేటర్ తెలంగాణకు మంచి పేరు తెస్తుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆకాంక్షించారు.
ఈ ప్రారంభోత్సవ కార్యక్రమంలో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క గారు, ఎమ్మెల్యే కుందూరు జయవీర్ గారు, గీతా ఆర్ట్స్ అధినేత, సినీ నిర్మాత అల్లు అరవింద్ గారు, తెలంగాణ ఫిలిమ్ డెవలప్మెంట్ కార్పొరేషన్ చైర్మన్ దిల్ రాజు గారు, నటుడు అల్లు అర్జున్ గారితో పాటు సినిమా రంగానికి చెందిన అనేక మంది ప్రముఖులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy emphasized the Telangana government’s commitment to developing the film industry as a key sector, ensuring full support and recognition to make Telugu cinema a global benchmark.
The Chief Minister inaugurated “Allu Cinemas”, the country’s largest Dolby multiplex, constructed in Kokapet by the family of producer Allu Aravind. He expressed his vision for the Telangana film industry to flourish, on par with the state’s IT and Pharma sectors.
Highlighting cinema’s influence, he noted its significant social impact on the middle class and stressed that the local industry should aspire to produce films of its own caliber, rather than merely observing Hollywood productions.
He emphasized the need for Telangana to develop a film Knowledge Hub, which would enable the creation of globally competitive films, positioning Telugu cinema to compete not only nationally but also internationally.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that this Dolby theater, built with passion by the Allu Aravind family, would bring prestige and recognition to Telangana.
The inauguration was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, MLA Kunduru Jayaveer, Allu Aravind, actor Allu Arjun, Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju, and several other prominent figures from the film industry.
