అన్ని మతాలకు చెందినవారు కలిసికట్టుగా సోదరభావంతో ఈ రాష్ట్రాన్ని ప్రగతి పథంలో ముందుకు నడిపించుకుందామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు రంజాన్ ఇఫ్తార్ విందు సందర్భంగా పిలుపునిచ్చారు. రాష్ట్రంలో మైనారిటీల అభ్యున్నతికి సాధ్యమైనంత మేరకు ప్రభుత్వం సహకారం అందిస్తుందని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
పవిత్ర రంజాన్ మాసం సందర్భంగా మైనారిటీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ ఎల్బీ స్టేడియంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఇఫ్తార్ విందులో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పాల్గొన్నారు. “రంజాన్ మాసం ఒక పండుగ మాత్రమే కాదు. విలువలను గుర్తుచేసే పవిత్ర మాసం. నెల రోజులపాటు ఆత్మశుద్ధితో పరులకు సహకారం అందిస్తూ అందరితో సత్సంబంధాలను కొనసాగించడమే రంజాన్ మాసం పవిత్రత” అని ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తన సందేశంలో పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ ఇఫ్తార్ విందులో మంత్రులు మహమ్మద్ అజారుద్దీన్ గారు, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి గారు, పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారు, ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు మహమ్మద్ అలీ షబ్బీర్ గారు, లోక్సభ సభ్యుడు అసదుద్దీన్ ఓవైసీ గారితో పాటు పలువురు ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, ముస్లిం మతపెద్దలు, మైనారిటీ సోదరులు పెద్ద ఎత్తున పాల్గొన్నారు.
“రాష్ట్రంలో మైనారిటీల సంక్షేమం కోసం ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యతనిస్తుంది. క్రికెటర్ మహమ్మద్ అజారుద్దీన్ గారికి మంత్రి పదవి, షబ్బీర్ అలీ గారికి సలహాదారుగా, క్రికెటర్ మహమ్మద్ సిరాజ్కు, బాక్సింగ్ చాంపియన్ నిఖత్ జరీన్కు డీఎస్పీగా ఉద్యోగ కల్పించడమే కాకుండా 2 కోట్ల రూపాయల ఆర్థిక సహాయం అందించాం. 8 మంది మైనారిటీ నాయకులను వివిధ కార్పొరేషన్లకు చైర్మన్లుగా నియమించాం.. ” అని ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు గుర్తుచేశారు.
ఈ రంజాన్ పండుగ ప్రజల్లో సఖ్యత, సోదరభావం తీసుకొచ్చి హిందువులు, ముస్లింలు, సిక్కులు, క్రిస్టియన్లు అందరూ మత సామరస్యంతో రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి ముందుకు నడిపిస్తున్నారని అన్నారు. ప్రతి సంక్షేమం, అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాల్లో మైనారిటీలకు సింహ భాగమిచ్చి ముందుకు నడిపిస్తున్నామని, ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ హాస్టళ్లలో మైనారిటీలకు అవకాశం కల్పిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు.
“ఈ ప్రభుత్వం మనందరిదీ. నేను మీ సోదరుడిని. మనమందరం కలిసి తెలంగాణ, హైదరాబాద్ నగరాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేసుకుందాం. అందరం కలిసి కష్టపడితేనే ఈ రాష్ట్రం, దేశం ప్రగతి పథంలో ముందుకు సాగుతాయి. ఈ అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాల్లో మీ అందరి సహకారం కావాలి” అని కోరారు.
“The true essence of the holy month of Ramadan lies in attaining spiritual purification through prayer, fasting, and acts of charity,” remarked Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy. During the Iftar dinner hosted by the Minorities Welfare Department at LB Stadium, he called upon people of all faiths to unite in a spirit of brotherhood and collectively steer the State forward on the path of progress, assuring that the government remains steadfast in its support for the upliftment of minorities.
Marking the sacred month, the Chief Minister emphasized that Ramadan is not merely a festival but a holy period that reminds society of enduring human values. He noted that its true sanctity lies in the month-long observance of spiritual discipline, extending a helping hand to the needy, and nurturing harmonious relationships with all sections of society.
The event was attended by Ministers Mohammad Azharuddin, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and Ponnam Prabhakar; Government Advisor Mohammad Ali Shabbir; and Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi, along with a large gathering of public representatives, eminent Muslim religious leaders, and members of the minority community.
“The government accords the highest priority to the welfare of minorities in the State,” the Chief Minister recalled. He highlighted the appointments of Sri Mohammad Azharuddin as Minister and Sri Shabbir Ali as Government Advisor, as well as the provision of DSP positions and ₹2 crore in financial assistance to cricketer Mohammad Siraj and boxing champion Nikhat Zareen. He further noted that eight minority leaders have been appointed as Chairpersons of various State corporations.
He observed that the spirit of Ramadan fosters harmony and brotherhood, bringing together Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians to strengthen the State’s development through religious unity. He emphasized that minorities are being given a significant share in welfare and development programmes and that opportunities are also being provided to them in integrated hostels.
“This government belongs to all of us. I stand with you as your brother,” the Chief Minister said, urging everyone to join hands in the development of Telangana and the city of Hyderabad. He added that only through collective effort and mutual cooperation can the State and the nation advance on the path of progress and prosperity.
