ఖమ్మం జిల్లా ఏదులాపురం మున్సిపాలిటీలో దాదాపు 362 కోట్ల రూపాయల విలువైన వివిధ అభివృద్ధి పనులకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. మున్నేరు నుంచి పాలేరు లింక్ కెనాల్, ఏదులాపురంలోని జేఎన్టీయూ కళాశాలకు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. కూసుమంచిలో వంద పడకల ఆసుపత్రి, మద్దులపల్లిలో నూతన మార్కెట్ యార్డు, నూతనంగా నిర్మాణం పూర్తి చేసుకున్న ఏదులాపురం (పాలేరు) నర్సింగ్ కాలేజీని ప్రారంభించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క గారు, మంత్రులు ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారు, తుమ్మల నాగేశ్వరరావు గారు, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి గారు, వాకిటి శ్రీహరి గారు, ఎంపీలు, ఇతర ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
అనంతరం ప్రభుత్వ నర్సింగ్ కాలేజీ విద్యార్థులతో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సమావేశంలో పాల్గొని నర్సింగ్ విద్యార్థులను ఉద్దేశించి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడారు.
వివిధ దేశాల్లో ఉన్న ఉపాధి అవకాశాలను అందిపుచ్చుకోవడానికి నర్సింగ్ విద్యార్థులకు జపనీస్, జర్మన్ భాషలు నేర్చుకునేలా ప్రభుత్వం అవసరమైన కార్యాచరణను రూపొందిస్తుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు.
“జపాన్, జర్మనీ వంటి దేశాల్లో ఇంజనీరింగ్ కంటే నర్సింగ్ విద్యార్థులకు అత్యధిక డిమాండ్ ఉంది. భాష ఒక్కటే అడ్డంకిగా మారిన నేపథ్యంలో ఇక్కడి విద్యార్థులకు జపనీస్, జర్మన్ భాషలను బోధించేందుకు ఒప్పందాలు కుదుర్చుకున్నాం. త్వరలోనే నర్సింగ్ కాలేజీలకు ఆ భాషలను బోధించే ఉపాధ్యాయులను పంపిస్తాం.
ప్రభుత్వం విద్య, వైద్య రంగాలకు అత్యధిక ప్రాధాన్యతనిస్తోంది. పేద ప్రజలకు నాణ్యమైన విద్య, వైద్యం అందించడమే లక్ష్యంగా పనిచేస్తున్నాం. సమాజంలో వైద్య వృత్తికి, వైద్యులకు ఎంతో ప్రాముఖ్యత ఉంటుంది. అలాంటి వృత్తిలో ఉన్నవారు వ్యక్తిగతంగా కష్టనష్టాలు ఎదురైనప్పటికీ నిరుపేదలకు సేవలందించడంలో నిర్లక్ష్యం వహించరాదు.
నిరుపేదలకు సేవలందించడం ఒక బాధ్యతగా భావిస్తూ నర్సింగ్ వృత్తిలో రాణించి దేశ ప్రతిష్టను మరింత పెంచాలి. నాణ్యమైన విద్య అందించడంలో ప్రభుత్వ పరంగా తీసుకోవాల్సిన అన్ని చర్యలు తీసుకుంటాం” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు.
అనంతరం ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మంత్రివర్గ సహచరులతో కలిసి మద్దులపల్లిలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన బహిరంగ సభలో పాల్గొన్నారు. ప్రభుత్వం అమలు చేస్తున్న సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలను వివరించారు. రాష్ట్రంలో రేషన్ కార్డు లేని ఎవరైనా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకుంటే కార్డులు మంజూరు చేస్తామని ప్రకటించారు. అయోధ్యలోని రామమందిరాన్ని తలపించే విధంగా భద్రాచలం రాముల వారి ఆలయాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేస్తామని వెల్లడించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy launched and inaugurated various development works worth approximately ₹362 crore in Edulapuram Municipality, Khammam district, as part of the Praja Palana – Pragathi Bata programme.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for projects including the Munneru–Paleru link canal and a JNTU Engineering College at Edulapuram. He also inaugurated a 100-bed Kusumanchi Government Hospital, a new market yard at Maddulapalli, and the newly constructed Government Nursing College at Edulapuram (Palair Constituency).
Addressing the nursing students, the Chief Minister said that education and healthcare remain top priorities of the present government. He described nursing as a noble and responsible profession and urged students to serve with dedication, discipline, and compassion.
Highlighting global opportunities, Shri Revanth Reddy noted that the nursing and medical sectors are witnessing rapid growth worldwide, similar to the engineering boom of earlier decades. Drawing from his visits to South Korea, Japan, and Germany, he emphasized the massive demand for nursing professionals with attractive employment prospects.
To support international career opportunities, he announced that the government has initiated mutual language programs in Japanese and German, ensuring that language will not be a barrier for students aspiring to work abroad. The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the all-round development of nursing students, including infrastructure, education, and professional support, and encouraged healthcare professionals to remain generous, compassionate, and service-oriented, especially towards the poor and needy.
Later, at a public meeting in Maddulapalli, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive welfare, announcing that ration cards would be issued to all eligible applicants. He also stated that the Sri Ram Temple at Bhadrachalam would be developed along the lines of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, while preserving its spiritual and cultural significance.
The program was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Vakiti Srihari, along with public representatives, officials, students, and faculty.
