గుండె సంబంధిత వ్యాధులను నివారించాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో అందరం కలిసి ఒక మిషన్గా పనిచేద్దామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. కార్డియాలజిస్టులు స్వచ్ఛందంగా ముందుకొచ్చి విద్యార్థులకు సీపీఆర్ (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) చేయడంలో శిక్షణ ఇవ్వగలిగితే దేశంలో ఎంతో మంది ప్రాణాలను కాపాడగలుగుతామని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.
ఇంటర్వెన్షనల్ కార్డియాలజీ రీసెర్చ్ అండ్ ట్రెయినింగ్ ఫౌండేషన్ (#ICRTF) ఆధ్వర్యంలో హైదరాబాద్లో జరుగుతున్న ఫెలోస్ ఇండియా సదస్సు 2026 లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు. దేశంలోని వివిధ రాష్ట్రాలు, దక్షిణాసియా దేశాల నుంచి దాదాపు 500 మంది కార్డియాలజిస్టులు మూడు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించే ఈ సదస్సులో పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, తాను వృత్తి పరంగా డాక్టర్ కానప్పటికీ, నిర్వహిస్తున్న పదవీబాధ్యతల పరంగా సామాజిక వైద్యుడి పాత్ర పోషిస్తూ, సమాజంలోని సమస్యలకు చికిత్స అందిస్తానని చెప్పారు.
ఇప్పటికే విజయవంతమైన వైద్యులైనా, నాలెడ్జ్ను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు అప్గ్రేడ్ చేసుకోవడం, నైపుణ్యాలను పెంపొందించుకోవాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ కాన్ఫరెన్స్కు రావడం అభినందనీయమని అన్నారు. నిరంతరం నేర్చుకోవడమే అతిపెద్ద విజయ రహస్యమని, కొత్త విషయాలు తెలుసుకోవడం మానిస్తే కెరీర్కు ముగింపు పలికినట్టేనని పేర్కొన్నారు.
లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్, ఫార్మా, హెల్త్కేర్ అనుబంధ రంగాల్లో ఆవిష్కరణల కేంద్రంగా హైదరాబాద్ వేగంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. చాలా మంది డాక్టర్ కావాలని ఆశపడినా అందుకు అర్హత సాధించలేరని, డాక్టర్లు సమాజంలో ఒక ప్రత్యేక వర్గమని, వారు ప్రాణాలను కాపాడతారని ప్రజలు గట్టిగా నమ్ముతారని గుర్తుచేశారు. మనుషుల పట్ల, సమాజం పట్ల వైద్యుల బాధ్యతను ఎప్పటికీ మరిచిపోవద్దని సూచించారు.
ప్రజల ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోందని, ప్రజల ప్రయోజనాల కోసం పాలసీలను మరింత మెరుగుపరచేందుకు వైద్యులతో కలిసి పనిచేయడానికి ప్రభుత్వం ఎప్పుడూ సిద్ధంగా ఉందన్నారు. ఈ దిశగా వైద్యులు తమ సలహాలు, సూచనలతో సహకరించాలని కోరారు.
ఆధునిక సాంకేతికత, నూతన పరిజ్ఞానం ప్రపంచాన్ని వేగంగా మార్చుతున్నాయని, ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణ రంగం కూడా హైటెక్గా మారుతున్న తరుణంలో టెక్నాలజీ పరంగా అప్డేట్ అవుతున్నప్పటికీ మానవీయ స్పర్ష మరిచిపోవద్దని సూచించారు.
ఇటీవల గుండె సంబంధిత వ్యాధులతో మరణాలు పెరుగుతున్న క్రమంలో గుండె జబ్బుల నివారణను ఒక మిషన్గా తీసుకొని అందరం కలిసి పనిచేద్దామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ప్రజల ప్రాణాలను కాపాడేందుకు సమిష్టి ప్రయత్నాలు అవసరమన్నారు. విద్యార్థులకు సీపీఆర్ (CPR) శిక్షణ ఇవ్వడానికి కార్డియాలజిస్టులు స్వచ్ఛందంగా ముందుకు వస్తే దేశంలో ఎంతో మంది ప్రాణాలను కాపాడగలమని, గుండె వ్యాధుల నివారణపై అవగాహన కల్పిస్తే సమాజం మొత్తం లాభపడుతుందని అన్నారు.
ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణలో నాణ్యతాప్రమాణాలను పెంచేందుకు ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ కృషి చేయాలని, ప్రపంచ స్థాయిలో ఉత్తమ హెల్త్కేర్ అందించే దిశగా ముందుకు సాగాలని, ప్రతి వైద్యుడు ఉత్తమ డాక్టర్గా ఎదగాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆకాంక్షించారు.
ఫెలోస్ ఇండియా సదస్సులో ఆర్గనైజింగ్ చైర్మన్ డాక్టర్ ఎన్. ప్రతాప్ కుమార్ గారు, ఆర్గనైజింగ్ సెక్రటరీ డాక్టర్ ఎ. శరత్ రెడ్డి గారితో పాటు ఇతర వైద్య ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy called upon everyone to work together as a mission with the goal of preventing heart-related diseases. He emphasized that if cardiologists voluntarily come forward and train students in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), countless lives could be saved across the country.
The Chief Minister participated in and addressed the Fellows India Conference 2026, held in Hyderabad under the aegis of the Interventional Cardiology Research and Training Foundation (#ICRTF). Nearly 500 cardiologists from across India and South Asian countries participated in this three-day conference.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister noted that although he is not a doctor by profession, he fulfills the role of a social physician in his current responsibilities, working to address societal problems.
He appreciated that, even as already accomplished doctors, participants attended the conference with the aim of continuously upgrading their knowledge and enhancing their skills. He stated that lifelong learning is the greatest secret to success and cautioned that stopping learning is equivalent to ending one’s career.
The Chief Minister highlighted that Hyderabad is rapidly emerging as a hub for innovation in life sciences, pharma, and allied healthcare sectors. He observed that while many aspire to become doctors, not everyone qualifies, and doctors hold a unique and respected place in society, with the public placing strong faith in their life-saving work. He advised doctors never to lose sight of their responsibility toward people and society.
Emphasizing the government’s commitment, he stated that the state administration gives utmost priority to public healthcare and is always ready to collaborate with doctors to further improve policies for the benefit of the people. He urged medical professionals to extend their guidance and suggestions in this effort.
The Chief Minister noted that modern technology and new knowledge are transforming the world at a rapid pace, and while the healthcare sector is becoming increasingly high-tech, doctors must continue to remain connected with the pulse of the people.
In view of the recent rise in deaths due to heart-related diseases, he called upon everyone to work collectively to make heart disease prevention a mission. He stressed that collective efforts are essential to save lives. By volunteering to provide CPR training to students and raising awareness about heart disease prevention, cardiologists can contribute significantly to the well-being of society.
He expressed his aspiration that everyone should strive to improve quality standards in healthcare, work toward providing world-class medical services, and that every doctor should aim to grow into an exemplary medical professional.
