యంగ్ ఇండియా ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూల్స్ (YIIRS) మొదటి విడతలో పూర్తయ్యే వాటిలో ఎక్కువగా బాలికలకు కేటాయించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ఆదేశించారు. రానున్న మూడేళ్లలో ప్రతి నియోజకవర్గంలోనూ బాలురు, బాలికలకు ఒకొక్కటి చొప్పున వీటి నిర్మాణాలు పూర్తి చేయాలని స్పష్టంగా చెప్పారు.
విద్యా శాఖకు సంబంధించిన అంశాలపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో ఉన్నతస్థాయి సమావేశంలో సమీక్షించారు. ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూల్స్, ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో ఉదయం అల్పాహారం, మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం, ఒకటవ తరగతి నుంచి 10 వ తరగతి వరకు ఆధునిక అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా సిలబస్ లో మార్పులపై సమీక్షించి అధికారులకు పలు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు.
ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూళ్లను ప్రస్తుతం బాలికలకు కేటాయించిన నియోజకవర్గంలో మరో విడతలో బాలురకు కేటాయించాలి.
ఈ స్కూళ్లలో సోలార్ కిచెన్ల నిర్మాణాలను పీఎం కుసుమ్ లో చేపట్టే అవకాశాలను పరిశీలించాలి. వీటి నిర్మాణాలకు సంబంధించి బిల్లులను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు విడుదల చేయాలి.
గ్రేటర్ హైదరాబాద్ పరిధిలో 23 నూతన పాఠశాల భవనాలు నిర్మాణాలు వచ్చే విద్యా సంవత్సరం నాటికి అందుబాటులోకి రావాలి. బాచుపల్లి పాఠశాలకు ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న స్థలం సమీపంలో ఒకటిన్నర ఎకరాన్ని ఆ పాఠశాల నిర్మాణానికి కేటాయించాలి.
ప్రస్తుత, భవిష్యత్ అవసరాలకు తగినట్లు ఒకటి నుంచి పదో తరగతి వరకు సిలబస్ మార్పుపై కసరత్తును వెంటనే ప్రారంభించాలి.
వీరనారి చాకలి ఐలమ్మ మహిళా విశ్వ విద్యాలయం పనులు వేగవంతం చేయాలి.
పాలిటెక్నిక్ కళాశాలల్లో నూతన కోర్సులు, మౌలిక సదుపాయాల ఏర్పాటుకు టాటా టెక్నాలజీస్తో ఒప్పందం చేసుకున్నందున దానిని త్వరగా అమలయ్యేలా చూడాలి.
పాలిటెక్నిక్ కళాశాలలు, యంగ్ ఇండియా స్కిల్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చే ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి కచ్చితంగా ఉద్యోగం లభించేలా సిలబస్, బోధన అందించాలి.
ప్రస్తుతం కొడంగల్ నియోజకవర్గంలోని ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలో స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థల ద్వారా అమలు చేస్తున్న బ్రేక్ఫాస్ట్, మధ్యాహ్న భోజన పథకాన్ని తెలంగాణ వ్యాప్తంగా అమలు చేయడానికి గల అవకాశాలను పరిశీలించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆదేశించారు.
తగినంత స్థలం, అవసరమైన మద్దతు అందజేస్తే పథకాన్ని రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా అమలు చేయగలమని సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్న అక్షయపాత్ర ప్రతినిధులు తెలియజేశారు. ప్రతి రెండు నియోజకవర్గాలకు ఒక సెంట్రలైజ్డ్ కిచెన్ ఏర్పాటు చేసి అందరికీ సకాలంలో భోజనం అందేలా ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
సెంట్రలైజ్డ్ కిచెన్ ఏర్పాటుకు రెండు ఎకరాల స్థలం కేటాయింపు లేదా 99 సంవత్సరాలకు లీజు తీసుకునే అంశంపై జిల్లా కలెక్టర్లతో మాట్లాడి త్వరగా నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి రామకృష్ణారావు గారికి సూచించారు.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy has emphasized gender balance in the first phase of the Young India Integrated Residential Schools (YIIRS), directing that a greater number of schools be allotted to girls. He stated that within three years, one YIIRS each for boys and girls should be constructed in every Assembly constituency. In constituencies where schools for girls are developed in the current phase, schools for boys will be taken up in the next phase.
The Chief Minister conducted a high-level review of the Education Department at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Secretariat. He directed officials to oversee the development of YIIRS, the morning breakfast and mid-day meal programme, and the revision of the syllabus from Classes I to X to meet current and future educational needs.
In constituencies where YIIRS are currently allocated to girls, the next phase will prioritize schools for boys.
Officials were directed to explore the possibility of constructing solar-powered kitchens in YIIRS campuses under the PM-KUSUM scheme and to ensure that related construction bills are processed without delay.
The Chief Minister directed that 23 new school buildings in Greater Hyderabad be completed and ready by the next academic year. For the Bachupally school, which currently has only half an acre, one-and-a-half acres near the existing site must be allocated for the new building.
Revision of the syllabus from Classes I to X must begin immediately to align with contemporary educational requirements.
Development works at Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University must be expedited.
Following an agreement with Tata Technologies for introducing new courses and upgrading infrastructure in polytechnic colleges, the Chief Minister directed swift implementation. The syllabus and teaching methods at polytechnic colleges and Young India Skills University must support employability for all graduates.
Officials were directed to examine the feasibility of expanding the breakfast and mid-day meal programme, currently operational in Kodangal constituency schools through NGOs, across Telangana. Representatives of Akshaya Patra confirmed that the programme could be implemented statewide if adequate land and support are provided. Plans must be prepared to establish one centralized kitchen for every two constituencies to ensure timely meals for students.
The Chief Secretary, Ramakrishna Rao, was directed to consult district collectors and take timely decisions on allocating or leasing two acres of land for centralized kitchens.
