దావోస్ ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక వేదిక (WEF) వార్షిక సదస్సులో ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు టాటా గ్రూప్ చైర్మన్ శ్రీ నటరాజన్ చంద్రశేఖరన్ గారితో సమావేశమయ్యారు. తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047 విజన్, అభివృద్ధిలో భాగస్వామ్యం, పలు రంగాల్లో టాటా గ్రూప్ సేవల విస్తరణ వంటి అంశాలపై కీలక చర్చలు జరిపారు.
తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ విజన్–2047 అంశాలతో పాటు రాష్ట్రంలోని పారిశ్రామిక అనుకూల వాతావరణం, ప్రభుత్వ దీర్ఘకాలిక అభివృద్ధి ప్రణాళికలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు టాటా గ్రూప్ చైర్మన్ గారికి వివరించారు.
కేవలం పెట్టుబడుల కోసమే కాకుండా, పటిష్టమైన విధానాలు, ఫ్యూచర్ విజన్ను ప్రపంచానికి పరిచయం చేస్తూ తెలంగాణ ముందుకు సాగుతున్న తీరును చంద్రశేఖరన్ గారు ప్రశంసించారు. భవిష్యత్ అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటున్న ప్రణాళికాబద్ధమైన నిర్ణయాలను అభినందించారు.
హైదరాబాద్లోని ప్రధాన స్టేడియాలను ప్రపంచ స్థాయి ప్రమాణాలతో తీర్చిదిద్దే ఆలోచనలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పంచుకోగా, దీనికి సానుకూలంగా స్పందించిన చంద్రశేఖరన్ గారు, స్టేడియాల అభివృద్ధిలో ప్రభుత్వంతో కలిసి పనిచేసేందుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నట్లు తెలిపారు. దేశంలో ఉన్న క్రీడాప్రతిభకు తగిన మౌలిక సదుపాయాలు కల్పించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని వారు అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. 2036 ఒలింపిక్స్లో భారత్ పతకాలు సాధించడమే లక్ష్యంగా యంగ్ ఇండియా స్పోర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఏర్పాటు, క్రీడా మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధిని చేపట్టామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పేర్కొన్నారు.
టాటా టెక్నాలజీస్ సహకారంతో తెలంగాణలోని 65 ప్రభుత్వ ఐటీఐలను అడ్వాన్స్డ్ టెక్నాలజీ సెంటర్లుగా మార్చుతున్నామని, ప్రభుత్వ పాలిటెక్నిక్ కాలేజీలను స్కిల్ సెంటర్లుగా అభివృద్ధి చేసే ప్రణాళికలతో పాటు, ఆనంద్ మహీంద్రా గారి సారథ్యంలో యంగ్ ఇండియా స్కిల్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఏర్పాటు గురించి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వివరించారు.
రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా చేపడుతున్న మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవన ప్రాజెక్టుపై టాటా గ్రూప్ ఛైర్మన్ నటరాజన్ చంద్రశేఖరన్ గారు ప్రత్యేక ఆసక్తి కనబరిచారు. రాజస్థాన్, మహారాష్ట్రలలో నీటి వనరుల పునరుద్ధరణలో టాటా గ్రూప్నకు ఉన్న అనుభవాన్ని గుర్తు చేస్తూ, మూసీ రివర్ ఫ్రంట్ అభివృద్ధిలో భాగస్వామిగా ఉండేందుకు సుముఖత వ్యక్తం చేశారు. మూసీ పరివాహక ప్రాంతంలో ఆర్థిక కార్యకలాపాలు పెరిగేలా ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నట్లు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు.
ప్రఖ్యాత ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్షేత్రాలైన మేడారం, వేములవాడ, భద్రాచలం వంటి చోట్ల హోటళ్ల ఏర్పాటుకు టాటా గ్రూప్ ఆసక్తి చూపింది. శ్రీశైలం రహదారి వెంబడి అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి రిసార్ట్ ఏర్పాటుపై సానుకూలంగా స్పందించింది. వీటితో పాటు ఏఐ డేటా సెంటర్లు, సెమీకండక్టర్, ఈవీ తయారీ రంగాల్లో కొత్త పరిశ్రమల స్థాపనపైనా చర్చించారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో మంత్రులు దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి గారు, ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
A distinguished engagement unfolded at the TCS Pavilion during Day 2 of the World Economic Forum 2026, as the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy–led ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation hosted a breakfast meeting with Tata Group Chairman Shri Natarajan Chandrasekharan.
The discussions showcased Telangana’s Vision 2047, policies, and strategic initiatives to position the state as a global hub for talent, innovation, and industrial growth.
The delegation presented the meticulously planned Telangana Rising 2047 roadmap, highlighting long-term collaborations in game-changing projects. Chandrasekharan commended Telangana for focusing on promoting its vision and ecosystem rather than just seeking investments.
The Chief Minister noted the state’s partnership with Tata Technologies to transform 65 ITIs into Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs), plans to upgrade government polytechnic colleges, and the Young India Skills University (YISU), chaired by Shri Anand Mahindra. The meeting also discussed the Young India Sports University and Telangana’s vision to upgrade public sports infrastructure for the 2036 Olympics. The CM proposed modernizing Hyderabad’s major stadiums with TATA support, which Chandrasekharan welcomed.
Chandrasekharan lauded Telangana’s progress in talent, innovation, and infrastructure. Minister Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu highlighted the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, which attracted Rs 5.75 lakh crore in investments, and reiterated that WEF 2026 is focused on presenting Vision 2047 and the state’s regional economic framework.
The discussions included naming the greenfield expressway connecting Bharat Future City to ORR and RRR as Ratan Tata Road, erecting a statue of Ratan Tata, exploring hospitality projects including hotels in temple towns and a world-class resort along the Srisailam highway, and developing the Gandhi Sarovar as part of the Musi Riverfront transformation.
Plans for EV, semiconductor, and AI data centers were also shared, alongside transforming the Musi Riverfront into an economic corridor. The TATA Group expressed strong interest in Musi rejuvenation, leveraging its experience from similar projects in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
Minister Shri Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, along with senior officials, also participated, underscoring the collaborative spirit between Telangana and TATA for the state’s transformative growth.
