తెలంగాణలోని వెనుకబడిన ఆదిలాబాద్ జిల్లాను అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు పలు కీలక హామీలను ఇచ్చారు. అభివృద్ధి చెందిన జిల్లాగా తెలంగాణలో అగ్రస్థానంలో నిలబెట్టే విధంగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని ప్రకటించారు.
ప్రజా పాలన – ప్రజా విజయోత్సవాలు కార్యక్రమాల్లో భాగంగా ఆదిలాబాద్ పట్టణంలో వివిధ అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఈరోజు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా బహిరంగ సభలో మాట్లాడుతూ, ప్రాణహిత – చేవెళ్ల ప్రాజెక్టు, చనాక – కొరాట ప్రాజెక్టు, విమానాశ్రయం, విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఏర్పాటు, సిమెంట్ ఫ్యాక్టరీ నిర్మాణం వంటి కీలకమైన ప్రాజెక్టులపై స్పష్టమైన ప్రకటన చేశారు.
తుమ్మిడిహట్టి వద్ద డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ ప్రాణహిత – చేవెళ్ల ప్రాజెక్టును చేపట్టి ఈ జిల్లా పంట పొలాలకు నీళ్లిస్తామన్నారు. త్వరలోనే ఉన్నతస్థాయి సమీక్ష నిర్వహించి ఆదిలాబాద్ జిల్లాకు విశ్వవిద్యాలయం మంజూరు చేస్తామని ప్రకటించారు.
జిల్లాకు విశ్వవిద్యాలయం మంజూరు చేస్తామని, దాన్ని ఎక్కడ పెట్టాలన్నది స్థలం ఎంపికను ఉమ్మడి జిల్లా ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు చర్చించి నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. ఆ వర్సిటీని ఇంద్రవెల్లిలో పెట్టడమే కాకుండా దానికి కొమురం భీం విశ్వవిద్యాలయంగా నామకరణం చేస్తే మరింత బాగుంటుందని సూచించారు.
ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం అధికారం చేపట్టి సంవత్సరం తిరిగే లోపు 61 వేల మందికి ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగాలిచ్చాం. పబ్లిక్ సర్వీస్ కమిషన్ ను ప్రక్షాళన చేశాం. ప్రజా పాలన – ప్రజా విజయోత్సవ సంబరాలు ముగిన తర్వాత సమీక్ష నిర్వహించి మరో 40 వేల ఉద్యోగాల నియామకాల ప్రక్రియ చేపడుతాం. మొత్తంగా లక్ష ఉద్యోగాలను భర్తీ చేస్తామని ప్రకటించారు.
Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy has extended several key assurances aimed at accelerating the development of the backward Adilabad district of Telangana. He reiterated his commitment to transforming Adilabad into a fully developed district and positioning it among the top regions in the state.
As part of the Praja Jaalan – Praja Vijayotsavam programs, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for multiple development initiatives in Adilabad town. Addressing a large public gathering, he made clear announcements regarding several major projects, including the Pranahita–Chevella Project, Chanaka–Korata Project, and proposals for establishing an airport, a university, and a cement factory.
At Tummidihatti, the Chief Minister reaffirmed that work on the Pranahita–Chevella Project will be taken up to ensure irrigation for the district’s agricultural lands. He stated that a high-level review meeting will be conducted soon and assured that a university will be sanctioned for Adilabad district.
He further suggested that public representatives of the undivided district should collectively decide on the university’s location. He added that it would be appropriate to establish the university in Indravelli and name it Komuram Bheem University.
Highlighting the government’s progress, the Chief Minister stated that within one year of assuming office, the Praja Government has provided 61,000 government jobs and reformed the Public Service Commission. Following the completion of the Praja Jaalan – Praja Vijayotsavam celebrations, the government will conduct a review and initiate recruitment for an additional 40,000 jobs, bringing the total to one lakh government positions.
