కోటి మంది మహిళలకు కోటి చీరల పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమంలో ఎలాంటి లోటుపాట్లు లేకుండా అధికారులు అందరూ సమన్వయంతో పని చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు స్పష్టంగా చెప్పారు. “మహిళల ఉన్నతి – తెలంగాణ ప్రగతి” కార్యక్రమం కింద ఇందిరా మహిళా శక్తి చీరల పంపిణీ పథకంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అధికారులకు దిశానిర్ధేశం చేశారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో కోటి మంది ఆడబిడ్డలకు ఇందిరమ్మ చీర పథకాన్ని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు లాంఛనంగా ప్రారంభించిన సందర్భంగా డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క గారు, ఇతర మంత్రివర్గ సహచరులతో కలిసి రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా అన్ని జిల్లాల కలెక్టర్లు, మహిళా సమాఖ్యల ప్రతినిధులతో వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా మాట్లాడారు.
“రాష్ట్రంలో ఏ ఒక్క మహిళా ఆందోళన చెందాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో ఆడపడుచులకు సారె, చీర ఇవ్వడం సంప్రదాయం. ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం ఆడబిడ్డలందరికీ సారె అందించాలని ఇందిరమ్మ చీరలను పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమం చేపట్టాం.
అన్ని జిల్లాల్లో మండల కేంద్రాల్లో స్థానిక శాసనసభ్యులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులను భాగస్వామ్యం చేస్తూ నిర్దేశించిన గడువులోగా విడతల వారిగా పంపిణీ పూర్తి చేయాలి. ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులకు ప్రత్యేకంగా సమాచారం ఇవ్వండి.
ప్రతి శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గానికి ఒక అధికారిని నియమించి ఈ కార్యక్రమ బాధ్యతలను అప్పగించాలి. మహిళల ఉన్నతి – తెలంగాణ ప్రగతి కార్యక్రమం కింద చేపడుతున్న చీరల పంపిణీ పథకం గురించి ముందుగానే ప్రజలందరికీ తెలిసేలా చెప్పండి.
మహిళా సంఘాలు ఉత్పత్తులను శిల్పారామంలో కేటాయించిన ఇందిరా శక్తి బజార్లో మార్కెటింగ్ చేసుకోవడానికి అవకాశం కల్పించాం. అలాగే మహిళా సంఘాల ఉత్పత్తులకు జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ గుర్తింపు తేవాలని అమెజాన్ ద్వారా ఆన్లైన్లో ఉత్పత్తులను విక్రయించుకునే అంశంపై ఆ సంస్థతో సంప్రదింపులు జరుపుతున్నాం.
ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత 27 వేల కోట్ల రూపాయల వడ్డీ లేని రుణాలు, ఆర్టీసీ బస్సుల్లో ఉచిత ప్రయాణమే కాకుండా వాటికి యజమానులను చేయడం, అమ్మ ఆదర్శ పాఠశాల నిర్వహణను అప్పగించడం, మహిళా సంఘాలకు పెట్రోల్ బంకులు, సోలార్ విద్యుత్ ప్లాంట్లు అప్పగించడం వంటి చర్యల అనేక కార్యక్రమాల ద్వారా వారిని ఆర్థికంగా ముందుకు తీసుకెళుతున్నాం.
మహిళా సంఘాలకు ఇప్పటివరకు డ్రెస్కోడ్ లేని కారణంగా సరైన గుర్తింపు లభించలేదు. వడ్డీలేని రుణాలు అందించడంలో గతంలో నిర్లక్ష్యం జరిగింది. వాటిని సరిదిద్దుకుంటూ ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు పోతోంది. చీరల పంపిణీని ఒక పండుగ వాతావరణంలో జరుపుకోవాలన్నది ప్రభుత్వ విధానం.
2034 నాటికి కోటి మంది మహిళలను కోటీశ్వరులుగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటున్నాం. ఆడబిడ్డ ఆర్థికంగా బలపడితే కుటుంబాల్లో సమస్యలకు పరిష్కారం లభిస్తుంది.
చీరల పంపిణీ విషయంలో ఎలాంటి లోటుపాట్లు చూడాలి. కుల గణన సందర్భంగా సేకరించిన వివరాల డేటా కలెక్టర్ల వద్ద ఉంది. ఫేషియల్ రికగ్నిషన్తో పాటు ఆధార్ నంబర్ నమోదు చేసుకుని ఎక్కడా తప్పులు జరక్కుండా పారదర్శకంగా పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమం జరగాలి.
చీరల విషయంలో ఎవరూ ఆందోళన పడాల్సిన పనిలేదు. మున్సిపాలిటీలు, పట్టణాల్లో రెండో విడతలో చీరలు అందిస్తాం. ఏ మహిళకూ చీర అందలేదన్న సమస్య ఉత్పన్నం కావొద్దు. తూతూ మంత్రంగా కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించడానికి వీలులేదు. భవిష్యత్తులో ఎలాంటి సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టాలన్నా ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకునేలా, అందరూ సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలి” అని మార్గనిర్దేశం చేశారు.
వివిధ జిల్లాల నుంచి వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్లో పాల్గొన్న మహిళా సమాఖ్య ప్రతినిధులతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడారు. చీరల తయారీ సందర్భంగా సమాఖ్య ప్రతినిధులు సిరిసిల్లాకు వచ్చి పరిశీలించి బాగున్నాయని చెప్పారని సిరిసిల్లా సమాఖ్య అధ్యక్షురాలు భాగ్య గారు తెలిపారు.
చీరల రంగు, డిజైన్ బాగున్నాయని ఆసిఫాబాద్ జిల్లా సమాఖ్య అధ్యక్షురాలు శ్రీదేవి చెప్పారు. మహిళా సమాఖ్య ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన పెట్రోల్ బంకులు ఎలా నడుస్తున్నాయని ఈ సందర్భంగా నారాయణపేట జిల్లా సమాఖ్య అధ్యక్షురాలు అరుంధతి గారిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వాకబు చేశారు.
సచివాలయం నుంచి వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్లో మంత్రులు ధనసరి అనసూయ సీతక్క గారు, కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకటరెడ్డి గారు, కొండా సురేఖ గారు, పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారు, పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి గారు, వాకిటి శ్రీహరి గారు, సీఎం సలహాదారు వేం నరేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి రామకృష్ణా రావు గారితో పాటు ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy emphasized that all officials must work in coordination and ensure there are no lapses in the distribution of one crore sarees to one crore women. He provided clear directions to the officials regarding the Indira Mahila Shakti Saree Distribution Scheme under the “Mahilala Unnati – Telangana Pragati” (Women’s Upliftment – Telangana’s Progress) program.
On the occasion of the formal launch of the Indiramma Saree Scheme for one crore girl children, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, along with other cabinet colleagues, interacted via video conference with the Collectors of all districts and representatives of women’s associations from across the state at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Secretariat.
The Chief Minister assured that no girl child in the state should worry about receiving a saree. He reiterated that providing sarees to girls is a longstanding tradition in Telangana and that the government’s Indiramma program aims to reach every girl child.
The distribution is to be carried out in phases, with active participation of local legislators and public representatives at mandal centers in all districts. Officials are required to inform public representatives well in advance about the distribution schedule.
Each legislative assembly constituency will have an assigned officer responsible for overseeing the program. The scheme will be implemented transparently, using Aadhaar registration along with facial recognition to ensure no errors or omissions.
The Chief Minister highlighted that women’s groups have been provided opportunities to market their products at the Indira Shakti Bazaar in Shilparamam, and discussions are underway for online sales through platforms like Amazon to gain national and international recognition.
Since the government assumed office, interest-free loans worth Rs. 27,000 crore have been provided to women’s groups. Programs such as free travel in RTC buses, ownership of buses, management of Amma Adarsh Schools, allocation of petrol pumps, and solar power projects are being implemented to economically empower women.
The Chief Minister noted that in the past, women’s groups had not received adequate recognition or support. The government is correcting these gaps and ensuring that saree distribution is celebrated in a festive and dignified manner.
The program also aligns with the government’s goal of making one crore women millionaires by 2034. Strengthening the financial independence of girl children will help solve family and social challenges.
Officials were instructed to monitor the distribution carefully, avoid any shortcomings, and maintain transparency. Sarees will also be distributed in municipalities and towns during the second phase, ensuring that every eligible girl receives one.
During the video conference, the Chief Minister spoke directly to representatives of women’s federations from various districts. Bhagya, President of the Sirisilla Federation, confirmed that the sarees produced in their district met quality standards. Sridevi, President of the Asifabad District Federation, praised the color and design of the sarees. Arundhati, President of the Narayanpet District Federation, provided updates on the operation of petrol pumps set up under the Women’s Federation.
Ministers Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, Konda Surekha, Ponnam Prabhakar, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Vakiti Srihari, CM Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Government Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, and other senior officials participated in the video conference from the Secretariat.
