రామోజీ గ్రూపు సంస్థలు తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రానికి, హైదరాబాద్ నగరానికి గర్వకారణంగా నిలుస్తున్నాయని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు అన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో చార్మినార్, గోల్కొండ, హైటెక్ సిటీ వరుసలో నాలుగవ అద్బుతంగా రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీ గుర్తింపు తీసుకొచ్చిందని చెప్పారు.
పత్రికా రంగంలో తనదైన ముద్ర వేసిన రామోజీ రావు గారు ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ వహించి ప్రోత్సహించిన రంగాల్లో విశేష సేవలు అందిస్తున్న వారిని గుర్తించి రామోజీ ఎక్సలెన్స్ అవార్డులను బహూకరించింది. రామోజీ రావు గారి 89 వ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఈ అవార్డుల బహూకరణ కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా ఉప రాష్ట్రపతి శ్రీ సీపీ రాధాకృష్ణన్ గారు పాల్గొన్నారు. వారితో పాటు రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్ జిష్ణు దేవ్ వర్మ గారు, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు గారు, కేంద్ర మంత్రులు కిషన్ రెడ్డి గారు, రామ్మోహన్ నాయుడు గారు, బండి సంజయ్ గారు, రాష్ట్ర మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, మాజీ ఉప రాష్ట్రపతి వెంకయ్య నాయుడు గారు, సుప్రీంకోర్టు మాజీ ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి ఎన్వీ రమణ గారు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, ప్రముఖులు ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, రామోజీ రావు గారు ఏ విలువలు, సంప్రదాయాలను తెలుగు ప్రజలకు అందించారో ఆ రంగాల్లో విశిష్ట సేవలు అందిస్తున్న వారిని గుర్తించి ఎక్సలెన్స్ అవార్డులను అందించడం అభినందనీయమని అన్నారు.
తెలుగు చలనచిత్ర రంగం నంది అవార్డుల నుంచి ఆస్కార్ అవార్డుల వరకు ఎదగడంలో రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీ ఎంతో తోడ్పాటును అందించిందని అన్నారు. టాలీవుడ్, బాలీవుడ్ కాకుండా హాలీవుడ్ సహా స్క్రిప్ట్ తో రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీలోకి ప్రవేశిస్తే ప్రింట్ తీసుకుని వెళ్లొచ్చేలా అద్భుతమైన కళాఖండాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేశారని అన్నారు.
రామోజీ రావు గారు ఏ రంగంలో ప్రవేశించినా అందులో తనదైన ముద్ర వేశారని చెప్పారు. వయసు పైబడినప్పటికీ నిత్యం పనిలోనే సంతృప్తి ఉంటుందని చెప్పేవారని, రామోజీ రావు గారు ఒక నిబద్ధతతో పనిచేశారని కొనియాడారు. రామోజీ ఒక పేరు కాదని, అదొక బ్రాండ్ అని ఆ బ్రాండ్ ను కొనసాగించే విషయంలో గ్రూపు సంస్థలకు ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి సంపూర్ణ సహకారం ఉంటుందని చెప్పారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో తెలుగు భాష అభివృద్ధికి కొన్ని చర్యలు తీసుకున్నామని, కొంత సమయం పట్టినప్పటికీ తెలుగు భాషలో పరిపాలనా వ్యవహారాలను కొనసాగించే విషయంలో అవసరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని చెప్పారు.
వివిధ రంగాల్లో విశేష కృషి చేసిన ఏడుగురు ప్రముఖులకు ఈ సందర్భంగా రామోజీ పేరిట స్థాపించిన ఎక్సలెన్స్ అవార్డులను బహూకరించారు. జర్నలిజంలో ఇండిపెండెంట్ జర్నలిస్టు, రచయిత జైదీప్ హర్దీకర్ గారికి, మానవ అక్రమ రవాణాకు వ్యతిరేకంగా పనిచేస్తున్న సామాజిక కార్యకర్త, (Impact And Dialogue Foundation) వ్యవస్థాకురాలు పల్లబి ఘోష్ (Pallabi Ghosh) గారికి, ప్రముఖ పర్యావరణ వేత్త, ఆకార్ చారిటబుల్ ట్రస్ట్ వ్యవస్థాపకులు, చైర్మన్ అమలా అశోక్ రూయా (Amla Ashok Ruia) గారికి ఎక్సలెన్స్ అవార్డులను అందించారు.
అలాగే, సామాజిక విద్యావేత్త, పెహచాన్ స్కూల్ (Pehchaan School) వ్యవస్థాపకుడు ఆకాశ్ టాండన్ గారికి, ఆదివాసీ భాషలను పరిరక్షించడంలో విశేష కృషి చేసిన ఆదికవి నన్నయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం వైస్ చాన్సెలర్, ప్రొఫెసర్ సత్తుపతి ప్రసన్న శ్రీ గారికి, ప్రముఖ శాస్త్రవేత్త డాక్టర్ మధవీ లత గారికి, అంధుడైన పారిశ్రామిక వేత్త శ్రీకాంత్ బొల్లా గారికి ఎక్సలెన్స్ అవార్డులను అందజేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో రామోజీ గ్రూపు చైర్మన్, మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ కిరణ్ గారు, మార్గదర్శి మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ శైలజా కిరణ్ గారు, రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీ చైర్మన్, మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ విజయేశ్వరి గారితో పాటు సంస్థ సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy stated that the Ramoji Group of Companies is a source of pride for Telangana and the city of Hyderabad, noting that Ramoji Film City has emerged as the fourth wonder of the city after Charminar, Golconda, and Hitec City.
He said that Ramoji Rao, who left an indelible mark on the field of journalism, always encouraged excellence across various spheres, and that the Ramoji Excellence Awards appropriately honour individuals who have made remarkable contributions. The Chief Minister participated in the award ceremony held at Ramoji Film City on the occasion of Ramoji Rao’s 89th birth anniversary and addressed the gathering.
Vice President Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan attended the event as the Chief Guest. Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Union Ministers Kishan Reddy, Rammohan Naidu, Bandi Sanjay, State Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, former Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana, public representatives, and other dignitaries also attended.
The Chief Minister said it is commendable to recognise those offering distinguished services in the fields Ramoji Rao valued. He highlighted that Ramoji Film City has played a significant role in elevating the Telugu film industry—from the Nandi Awards to the Oscars—and that its world-class ecosystem enables filmmakers to enter with a script and exit with a complete production.
He said that Ramoji Rao left his mark in every field he entered, working with unwavering commitment throughout his life. “Ramoji is not just a name—it is a brand,” he said, assuring full government support to uphold and strengthen that legacy.
He added that measures have been initiated for the development of the Telugu language in the state, and that steps will be taken to increasingly conduct administrative affairs in Telugu.
Seven distinguished individuals who made outstanding contributions across various fields received the Ramoji Excellence Awards: journalist and writer Jaideep Hardikar; anti–human trafficking activist and Impact and Dialogue Foundation founder Pallabi Ghosh; renowned environmentalist and Aakar Charitable Trust founder Amla Ashok Ruia.
Awards were also presented to social educator and Pehchaan School founder Akash Tandon; Adikavi Nannaya University Vice Chancellor Prof. Sathupathi Prasanna Sri; noted scientist Dr. Madhavi Latha; and visually challenged entrepreneur Srikanth Bolla.
Ramoji Group Chairman and Managing Director Kiran, Margadarsi Managing Director Shailaja Kiran, Ramoji Film City Chairperson and Managing Director Vijayeshwari, along with company staff, participated in the program.
