రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా భావిస్తున్న ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రి నూతన భవన నిర్మాణం రెండేళ్లలో పూర్తి చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఉస్మానియా నూతన ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఉన్నతస్థాయి సమావేశంలో సమీక్షించారు.
అవసరాలకు తగినట్లు అధునాతన వైద్య పరికరాలను సమకూర్చుకోవాలని, ఇందుకు సంబంధించి తగిన ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. అధునాతన పరికరాల ఏర్పాటుకు తగినట్లు గదులు, ల్యాబ్లు, ఇతర నిర్మాణాలు ఉండాలని ఇంజినీరింగ్ అధికారులకు సూచించారు.
ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణ పనులతో పాటు స్థానికులకు ఇబ్బంది లేకుండా చుట్టూ రోడ్ల నిర్మాణం చేపట్టాలన్నారు. ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణ పనుల వేగవంతానికి వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖ, పోలీసు, జీహెచ్ఎంసీ, ఆర్ అండ్ బీ, విద్యుత్ శాఖ అధికారులతో వెంటనే ఒక సమన్వయ కమిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.
ఈ కమిటీ క్షేత్ర స్థాయిలో పర్యటిస్తూ ప్రతి పది రోజులకోకసారి సమావేశమై ఏవైనా సమస్యలుంటే పరిష్కరించుకుంటూ పనులు వేగంగా జరిగేలా చూడాలని ఆదేశించారు. ఉస్మానియా నూతన ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణం పూర్తయ్యాక అక్కడి బందోబస్తు, ట్రాఫిక్ విధుల నిర్వహణకు సంబంధించి ముందుస్తుగానే తగిన ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ఆసుపత్రికి వివిధ రహదారులను అనుసంధానించే ప్రణాళికలు ఇప్పటి నుంచే రూపొందించాలని ఆర్ అండ్ బీ అధికారులకు సూచించారు. హైదరాబాద్తో పాటు వివిధ జిల్లాల్లో నిర్మాణంలో ఉన్న ఆసుపత్రులు, మెడికల్ కళాశాలల నిర్మాణానికి సంబంధించి ప్రతి నిర్మాణానికి ఒక అధికారిని ప్రత్యేకంగా నియమించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆదేశించారు.
నిర్మాణాలపై 24×7 ఆ అధికారి పర్యవేక్షించేలా పూర్తిస్థాయి బాధ్యతలను అప్పగించాలని చెప్పారు. వచ్చే జూన్ నాటికి నిర్మాణాలు పూర్తి చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to complete the construction of the new Osmania Hospital building — a project the State Government considers highly prestigious — within two years. The Chief Minister conducted a detailed review of the hospital’s reconstruction at a high-level meeting.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to procure state-of-the-art medical equipment in line with modern healthcare needs and to prepare comprehensive plans accordingly. He advised engineering officials to ensure that rooms, laboratories, and supporting infrastructure are designed to accommodate the installation of advanced equipment.
He emphasized that road development around the hospital should be taken up simultaneously, ensuring no inconvenience to local residents. To expedite the project, the Chief Minister ordered the immediate formation of a coordination committee comprising officials from the Medical and Health Department, Police, GHMC, Roads & Buildings, and Electricity Departments.
The committee will monitor the work at the field level, hold review meetings every ten days, and resolve any issues that may arise to ensure speedy progress. The Chief Minister further instructed that detailed plans be prepared in advance for security and traffic management once the new hospital becomes operational.
He directed the R&B officials to prepare plans for improved road connectivity to the hospital. The Chief Minister also ordered that a dedicated officer be appointed for each hospital and medical college construction project across the State, including Hyderabad, to oversee progress.
These officers will be assigned full responsibility to monitor construction works round the clock. The Chief Minister instructed that all ongoing hospital and medical college constructions be completed by June next year.
