భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ నుంచి అమరావతి మీదుగా బందరు పోర్ట్ వరకు 12 వరుసల గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ రహదారి నిర్మాణానికి వెంటనే అనుమతులు మంజూరు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు కేంద్ర రవాణా, జాతీయ రహదారుల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ నితిన్ గడ్కరీ గారిని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. రాష్ట్ర పునర్విభజన చట్టం ప్రకారం కూడా తెలంగాణ – ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధానుల మధ్య గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ రహదారి నిర్మించాల్సి ఉందని గుర్తు చేశారు.
తెలంగాణకు సముద్ర రేవు లేనందున, బందరు పోర్ట్ వరకు సరకు రవాణాకు వీలుగా గ్రీన్ ఫీల్డ్ రహదారి మంజూరు చేయాలని కోరారు. ఈ గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ రహదారిలో 118 కిలోమీటర్లు తెలంగాణలో మిగతా భాగం ఏపీలో ఉంటుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వివరించారు.
పలువురు ఎంపీలతో కలిసి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఢిల్లీలో కేంద్ర మంత్రి నితిన్ గడ్కరీ గారిని వారి నివాసంలో సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్బంగా రాష్ట్రంలో పలు జాతీయ రహదారుల నిర్మాణం, అనుమతులు, పనుల వేగవంతంపై చర్చించారు.
హైదరాబాద్ రీజినల్ రింగు రోడ్డుకు (నార్త్) 90 శాతం భూ సేకరణ పూర్తయినందున వెంటనే ఫైనాన్షియల్, క్యాబినెట్ అనుమతులు ఇచ్చి పనులు ప్రారంభించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు కోరారు. ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్ (నార్త్)కు సమాంతరంగా ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్ (సౌత్) పనులు చేపట్టాలని, అందుకు వెంటనే అన్ని అనుమతులు మంజూరు చేయాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
హైదరాబాద్ను ప్రసిద్ధ శైవ క్షేత్రం శ్రీశైలంతో అనుసంధానించే మన్ననూర్ – శ్రీశైలం రహదారి అమ్రాబాద్ టైగర్ రిజర్వు పరిధిలో ఉన్నందున 4 వరుసల ఎలివేటెడ్ కారిడార్ నిర్మాణానికి అనుమతులు మంజూరు చేయాలన్నారు. ఈ ఎలివేటెడ్ కారిడార్ పూర్తయితే ఏపీలోని కృష్ణపట్నం రేవుతో పాటు మార్కాపురం, కంభం, కనిగిరి, నెల్లూరులకు రాకపోకలు సులుభమవుతాయని చెప్పారు. రావిర్యాల – ఆమన్గల్ – మన్ననూర్ 4 వరుసల గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ రహదారిని నిర్మించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు కోరారు.
హైదరాబాద్ – మంచిర్యాల మధ్య ఉన్న రాజీవ్ రహదారిపై వాహన రద్దీ అధికంగా ఉన్నందున హైదరాబాద్ -మంచిర్యాల మధ్య నూతన గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ రహదారిని మంజూరు చేయాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. సీఆర్ఐఎఫ్ కింద రూ.868 కోట్లతో పంపిన రహదారుల పనులను మంజూరు చేయాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రి గారిని కోరారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చేసిన విజ్ఞప్తులకు నితిన్ గడ్కరీ గారు సానుకూలంగా స్పందించారు. సీఆర్ఐఎఫ్ పనులకు వారంలోపు అనుమతులు ఇస్తామని తెలిపారు. భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ – అమరావతి – బందరు పోర్ట్ గ్రీన్ఫీల్డ్ రహదారికి సంబంధించి తమ శాఖ అధికారులను హైదరాబాద్కు పంపుతానని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. ఈ అంశంపై ఎన్హెచ్, ఎన్హెచ్ఏఐ అధికారులతో ఈ నెల 22వ తేదీన హైదరాబాద్లో సమీక్ష నిర్వహిస్తామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వివరించారు.
కేంద్ర మంత్రి గారితో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో ఎంపీలు రేణుకా చౌదరి గారు, డాక్టర్ మల్లు రవి గారు, పోరిక బలరాం నాయక్ గారు, రామసహాయం రఘురాంరెడ్డి గారు, చామల కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారితో పాటు ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy requested Hon’ble Union Minister for Transport and National Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari to immediately grant approval for the construction of a 12-lane greenfield road from Bharat Future City to Bandaru Port via Amaravati. He recalled that as per the State Reorganisation Act, a greenfield road is to be developed between the capitals of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Since Telangana does not have a seaport, the Chief Minister requested that this road be sanctioned to facilitate smooth movement of goods up to Bandaru Port. He explained that 118 km of the proposed road would be in Telangana, while the remaining stretch would fall in Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister, along with several MPs, met Shri Nitin Gadkari at his residence in Delhi and discussed various issues related to national highway projects in Telangana, including approvals, clearances, and the pace of works.
He mentioned that 90 percent of land acquisition for the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road (North) has been completed and requested that financial and cabinet approvals be given immediately so that the work can commence. He also appealed for the simultaneous launch of works on RRR (South), with all necessary permissions granted at the earliest.
For improved connectivity to the famous Shaivite shrine of Srisailam, the Chief Minister requested permission for the construction of a 4-lane elevated corridor on the Mannanur–Srisailam road, which passes through the Amrabad Tiger Reserve. He said the project would also ease access to Krishnapatnam Port and improve road connectivity to Markapuram, Kambham, Kanigiri, and Nellore. He further requested the construction of a 4-lane greenfield road from Raviryal–Amangal–Mannanur.
Highlighting heavy vehicular congestion on the existing Rajiv Road between Hyderabad and Mancherial, the Chief Minister requested sanction for a new greenfield road on this route. He also sought approval for road projects worth ₹868 crore proposed under CRIF.
Shri Nitin Gadkari responded positively to the requests. He assured that approvals for CRIF works would be issued within a week. He also promised to depute ministry officials to Hyderabad for discussions on the Bharat Future City–Amaravati–Bandaru Port greenfield road. The Chief Minister informed that a review meeting on the matter with NH and NHAI officials will be held in Hyderabad on the 22nd of this month.
MPs Renuka Chowdhury, Dr. Mallu Ravi, Porika Balaram Nayak, Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, along with senior officials, participated in the meeting.
