బయో టెక్నాలజీ, ఫార్మా, మెడికల్ టెక్నాలజీ రంగాల్లో నూతన ఆవిష్కరణలకు అవసరమైన మద్దతును ఇవ్వడంతో పాటు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిబద్ధతతో పని చేస్తుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు చెప్పారు.
హైదరాబాద్ ఏఐజీ హాస్పిటల్స్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరిగిన ‘ఆసియా పసిఫిక్ బయో డిజైన్ ఇన్నొవేషన్ సమ్మిట్ 2025’ లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ వేదికగా “Innovation of Bharat – The BioDesign Blueprint”ను ఆవిష్కరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, బయోడిజైన్ విధానం ఉపయోగించి వైద్య ఉత్పత్తుల ఆవిష్కరణల విషయంలో ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని విధాలుగా మద్దతునిస్తుందని చెప్పారు. మాన్యుఫాక్చరింగ్ స్థాయి నుంచి నూతన ఆవిష్కరణల కేంద్రంగా హైదరాబాద్ అభివృద్ధి చెందడం శుభ సూచకమని అన్నారు.
“భారతదేశంలో ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణ, ఎదురవుతున్న సవాళ్లను అధిగమించడానికి స్వదేశీ ఆవిష్కరణలు ఎంతో అవసరం. అలాంటి పరిశోధనలకు, ఆవిష్కరణల కోసం తెలంగాణ మద్దతునివ్వడమే కాకుండా వైద్య డేటాను డేటా గోప్యతా ప్రమాణాలకు లోబడి అందించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉంది.
నూతన ఆవిష్కరణల కోసం విద్యా సంస్థలు, పరిశోధనా సంస్థలు, యంగ్ ఇండియా స్కిల్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ, కార్పొరేట్ భాగస్వాములతో అనుసంధానం చేస్తాం. చాలా ఏళ్లుగా మన మేదస్సు ఇతర దేశాల సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి ఉపయోగపడుతోంది. ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల్లో మన ప్రతిభ పాటవాలు దేశ ప్రజల ప్రయోజనాల కోసం ఉపయోగించాల్సిన సమయం వచ్చింది.
బయోడిజైన్ విధానం క్లినికల్ అవసరాలకు, ఆచరణాత్మక ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణ పరిష్కారాలను అందిస్తాయి. ఈ రంగంలో ఏఐజీ హాస్పిటల్స్ చైర్మన్ డాక్టర్ డి. నాగేశ్వర రెడ్డి గారి నాయకత్వంలో నూతన ఆవిష్కరణల కోసం పరిశోధనా కార్యక్రమాలు కొనసాగించడం అభినందనీయం.
లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ రంగంలో జాతీయ స్థాయిలో తెలంగాణ ఉన్నత స్థానంలో ఉంది. ముఖ్యంగా డయాగ్నస్టిక్ పరికరాలు, ఇమేజింగ్ టెక్నాలజీ, ఇంప్లాంట్ టెక్నాలజీ, సర్జికల్ పరికరాలు, డిజిటల్ హెల్త్ సొల్యూషన్స్లో తెలంగాణకు గణనీయమైన పెట్టుబడులు వచ్చాయి.
తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఒక స్పష్టమైన విజన్తో ముందుకు వెళుతోంది. 2034 నాటికి 1 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా, 2047 నాటికి 3 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా ఎదగాలన్న తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ లక్ష్యంతో పనిచేస్తున్నాం.
వైద్య రంగంలో మౌలిక సదుపాయాల కల్పన కోసం సుల్తాన్పూర్లో దేశంలోనే అతిపెద్ద మెడికల్ డివైజెస్ పార్క్ను అత్యున్నత ప్రమాణాలతో ఏర్పాటు చేశాం. అక్కడ 60 కి పైగా ప్రపంచ, దేశీయ కంపెనీలు ఇప్పటికే పని చేస్తున్నాయి. వివిధ రంగాల్లో హైదరాబాద్ ఒక ప్రత్యేకమైన కేంద్రంగా ఎదగడంలో స్థానిక స్టార్టప్ కంపెనీలు, ఎంఎస్ఎంఈలు, పరిశ్రమల సహకారం ఎంతో ఉంది..” అని అన్నారు.
ఈ సమ్మిట్లో #AIGHospitals చైర్మన్ డాక్టర్ డి.నాగేశ్వర్ రెడ్డి గారు, బయోడిజైన్ ఇన్నొవేషన్ సమ్మిట్ చైర్మన్ డాక్టర్ రాజేశ్ కలపల గారు, హాస్పిటల్ డైరెక్టర్ డాక్టర్ జీవీ రావు గారు, సెంటర్ ఫర్ బయోడిజైన్ (స్టాన్ ఫోర్డ్ యూనివర్సిటీ) డైరెక్టర్ డాక్టర్ అనురాగ్ మైరల్ గారితో పాటు వైద్య పరిశోధనా రంగంలో వివిధ దేశాలకు చెందిన వైద్య నిపుణులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy affirmed the state’s commitment to supporting innovation in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology, emphasizing Hyderabad’s evolution from a manufacturing base to a hub of innovation.
Speaking at the BioDesign Innovation Summit 2025, held at AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, the Chief Minister unveiled “Innovation of Bharat – The BioDesign Blueprint”. He assured comprehensive, end-to-end support for innovation in medical products using the #BioDesign methodology, with the Telangana government acting as a proactive and enabling partner.
“Hyderabad has a unique synergy of top-tier academic institutions, skill development initiatives, and strong industry partnerships, resulting in a highly capable workforce,” the Chief Minister said.
He advocated for indigenous innovation to address India’s healthcare challenges, assuring that innovators and researchers would be given access to Telangana’s historical medical data – while ensuring strict compliance with data privacy standards.
“We will connect you with academic institutions, research and innovation bodies, Young India Skills University, and corporate partners,” he added.
Reflecting on India’s global talent, he said, “For many years, our best minds were solving problems of other countries. That was a good thing. But now, the time has come to use our intelligence for the benefit of our own people.”
The Chief Minister commended Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman of AIG Hospitals, for spearheading research initiatives using BioDesign in the #MedTech sector.
He explained that BioDesign is a structured methodology that translates unmet clinical needs into practical healthcare solutions – not only through innovation and device creation but also via clinical validation and scalable manufacturing.
Highlighting Telangana’s emergence as a national leader in life sciences, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of medical devices and technology for the state. “We’ve seen substantial investments in diagnostic devices, imaging technologies, implants, surgical equipment, and digital health solutions,” he said.
He projected that Telangana would become a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and reach $3 trillion by 2047. Underscoring infrastructure achievements, he mentioned the establishment of India’s largest dedicated Medical Devices Park at Sultanpur, where over 60 global and domestic companies are already operational. The park offers world-class infrastructure for research, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
The Chief Minister also lauded local startups, MSMEs, and industry players for their contributions, calling Hyderabad a vibrant and unique destination for life sciences and medical innovation.
