పలు జిల్లాల్లో భారీ వర్షాలు, వరదలపై ఉదయం ఉన్నతస్థాయి సమీక్ష అనంతరం ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు హైదరాబాద్ నుంచి హెలికాప్టర్లో బయలుదేరి వరద ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతాల్లో ఏరియల్ సర్వే ద్వారా ఆయా ప్రాంతాలను పరిశీలించారు. వరద ప్రాంతాల పరిశీలన అనంతరం మెదక్ జిల్లా ఎస్పీ కార్యాలయంలో ఉన్నతస్థాయి సమావేశంలో సహాయక చర్యలపై పలు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. వరద నష్టంపై నివేదికలు తయారు చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.
నీటి పారుదల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారు, ఎమ్మెల్సీ మహేష్ కుమార్ గౌడ్ గారితో కలిసి హెలికాప్టర్లో తొలుత ఎల్లంపల్లి ప్రాజెక్టుకు చేరుకుని అక్కడ వరద పరిస్థితిని పరిశీలించారు. అధికారుల నుంచి వివరాలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
అనంతరం పోచారం ప్రాజెక్టు, పరీవాహక ప్రాంతంతో పాటు హెలికాప్టర్ ద్వారా కామారెడ్డి జిల్లాలోని వరద ప్రాంతాలను పరిశీలించారు. వరద తీవ్రత దృష్ట్యా ఆ జిల్లాలో జరిగిన నష్టం, తీసుకుంటున్న చర్యలపై ఉన్నతాధికారులతో సమీక్ష సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేసినప్పటికీ వాతావరణం అనుకూలించకపోవడంతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రయాణిస్తున్న హెలికాప్టర్ కామారెడ్డిలో ల్యాండ్ కాలేకపోయింది.
దాంతో అక్కడి నుంచి నేరుగా మెదక్ జిల్లాలో వరద ప్రాంతాలను పరిశీలించారు. మెదక్ చేరుకున్న ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు జిల్లా ఎస్పీ కార్యాలయంలో లోక్సభ సభ్యుడు రఘునందన్ రావు గారు, జిల్లా కలెక్టర్, ఎస్పీలతో పాటు ఉన్నతాధికారులతో సమావేశమయ్యారు.
ఆయా ప్రాంతాల్లో పరిస్థితి తీవ్రతను, తీసుకున్న చర్యలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. సహాయక చర్యలను మరింత ముమ్మరం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
కామారెడ్డి జిల్లాలో వరదల కారణంగా దెబ్బతిన్న పలు ప్రాంతాలను పరిశీలించిన మంత్రి ధనసరి అనసూయ సీతక్క గారు, ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు షబ్బీర్ అలీ గారు, జిల్లా కలెక్టరేట్లో కలెక్టర్, ఎస్పీ గార్లతో పాటు ఉన్నతాధికారులతో నిర్వహించిన సమావేశంలో పరిస్థితులను సమీక్షించారు.
After a high-level review of the heavy rains and floods in several districts earlier in the day, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy departed from Hyderabad by helicopter and conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas. Following the inspection, he convened a high-level meeting at the Medak District SP Office, where he issued several directions on relief measures and instructed officials to prepare detailed reports on flood damage.
Irrigation Minister Shri Uttam Kumar Reddy, accompanied by MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, first reached the Yellampally project by helicopter and reviewed the flood situation there. He also sought detailed updates from officials on the prevailing conditions.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister inspected the Pocharam project, its catchment area, and flood-affected regions in Kamareddy district. Although a review meeting with senior officials was held regarding the damage and ongoing relief operations, the Chief Minister’s helicopter could not land in Kamareddy due to adverse weather conditions.
The Chief Minister then proceeded to Medak district, where he inspected the affected areas directly. At the SP Office, he held discussions with Lok Sabha Member Shri Raghunandan Rao, the District Collector, the SP, and other senior officials.
He reviewed the severity of the floods in the respective areas and directed officials to intensify relief and rehabilitation efforts without delay.
Meanwhile, Minister Smt. Dhanasari Anasuya (Seethakka) and Government Advisor Shri Mohammed Ali Shabbir visited several flood-hit areas in Kamareddy district. They later held a review meeting at the District Collectorate with the Collector, SP, and senior officials to assess the situation and monitor the ongoing response measures.
