నిరుపేదలకు కడుపునిండా అన్నం పెట్టాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో రేషన్ కార్డుల పంపిణీని ప్రారంభించిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు, నిరుద్యోగ యువతీ యువకులకు మరో శుభవార్త చెప్పారు. రైతులు, మహిళలు, యువత సంక్షేమమే ధ్యేయంగా పనిచేస్తున్న ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం రెండున్నర సంవత్సరాల కాలం పూర్తి చేసుకునే లోపు మొత్తం 1 లక్ష ఉద్యోగాలను భర్తీ చేస్తుందని ప్రకటించారు.
అధికారం చేపట్టిన ఏడాది కాలంలో 60 వేల ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగాలను భర్తీ చేసిన ప్రభుత్వం రెండున్నరేళ్ల కాలం పూర్తయ్యేలోగా మొత్తం లక్ష ఉద్యోగాలను భర్తీ చేసి నిరుద్యోగుల కుటుంబాలు ఆత్మగౌరవంతో బతికే విధంగా వారికి ఉజ్వల భవిష్యత్తు కల్పిస్తుందని భరోసానిచ్చారు.
సూర్యాపేట జిల్లా తుంగతుర్తి నియోజకవర్గం తిరుమలగిరిలో పౌర సరఫరాల శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కార్యక్రమంలో నూతన రేషన్ కార్డుల పంపిణీని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు లాంఛనంగా ప్రారంభించారు. పలు అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలకు శంఖుస్థాపన చేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో శాసనమండలి చైర్మన్ గుత్తా సుఖేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, శాసనసభ స్పీకర్ గడ్డం ప్రసాద్ కుమార్ గారు, మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారు, కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్ రెడ్డి గారు, అడ్లూరి లక్ష్మణ్ కుమార్ గారు, ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారులు, లోక్ సభ సభ్యులు, పీసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు, ఎమ్మెల్సీ బొమ్మ మహేష్ కుమార్ గౌడ్ గారితో పాటు ఉమ్మడి జిల్లా ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, స్థానిక ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
అశేషంగా హాజరైన ప్రజలను ఉద్దేశించి ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, “పోరాటాల ఈ గడ్డ నుంచి తెలంగాణ పేద ప్రజలకు రేషన్ కార్డులు పంపిణీ చేసే కార్యక్రమం ప్రారంభించడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. భూమి కోసం భుక్తి కోసం, విముక్తి కోసం పోరాటాలు సాగించిన గడ్డ ఇది. రావి నారాయణరెడ్డి అత్యధిక మెజారిటీని ఇచ్చి దేశానికే సాయుధ రైతాంగ పోరాట శక్తిని చాటిచెప్పిన ప్రాంతం. ఈ జిల్లా చరిత్రనే తెలంగాణ చరిత్ర అంటే అతిశయోక్తి కాదు.
మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారు కోరినట్టుగా, తుంగతుర్తి నియోజకవర్గానికి దేవాదుల ప్యాకేజీ 6 నుంచి గోదావరి జలాలను తరలించి ఈ ప్రాంతాన్ని సస్యశ్యామలం చేసే వరకు ప్రభుత్వం విశ్రమించదని మాట ఇస్తున్నా.
హుజూర్నగర్ నియోజకవర్గంలో సన్నబియ్యం పంపిణీ ప్రారంభించి, ఇప్పుడు తుంగతుర్తిలో రేషన్ కార్డుల పంపిణీకి శ్రీకారం చుట్టాం. గడిచిన పదేళ్లలో పేదలకు రేషన్ కార్డులు, సన్నబియ్యం ఇవ్వాలని ఆలోచన చేయలేదు. ఈరోజు రేషన్ షాపుల వద్ద క్యూలైన్లలో నిలబడి కోట్లాది మంది సన్నబియ్యం తీసుకుంటున్నరు.
వ్యవసాయం దండగ కాదు. పండుగ చేయాలన్న లక్ష్యంతోనే రైతాంగానికి అండగా నిలవాలని 21 వేల కోట్ల రూపాయలతో 25,55,968 లక్షల మందికి 2 లక్షల చొప్పున రుణమాఫీ చేశాం. పంటలకు కనీస మద్దతు ధరతో పాటు సన్నవడ్లు పండిస్తే రూ.500 బోనస్ చెల్లిస్తున్నాం.
1.49 లక్షల ఎకరాలకు 70 లక్షల మంది రైతులకు 9 రోజుల్లో 9 వేల కోట్ల మేరకు రైతు భరోసా వేయడం ద్వారా వారి కళ్లల్లో ఆనందం చూసినం. పండించిన ప్రతి గింజ కొనుగోలు చేస్తామని చెప్పాం. దాంతో ఏడాది తిరిగేలోపు 2.85 కోట్ల మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల ధాన్యం పండించి దేశంలోనే రికార్డు సాధించాం.
రైతు భరోసా, రుణమాఫీ, కనీస మద్దతు ధర, రేషన్ కార్డు కావొచ్చు.. రైతులు సంతోసంగా ఉన్నప్పుడు తెలంగాణ ఒక పండుగ జరుపుకుంటుంది. రేషన్ కార్డులలో దాదాపు 26 లక్షల మందికి పేర్లు మార్చుకునే అవకాశం ఇచ్చాం. పేదవాడి ఆత్మగౌరవం, ఆకలి తీర్చే ఆయుధంగా పనిచేస్తుందని ఆలోచన చేసి లక్షలాది కుటుంబాలకు ప్రయోజనం చేకూరే విధంగా రేషన్ కార్డులను జారీ చేస్తున్నాం.
రాష్ట్రంలోని 67 లక్షల స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాల ఆడబిడ్డలకు పండుగ పూట ప్రతి ఆడబిడ్డకు రెండు చీరల చొప్పున ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించాం. జీరో వడ్డీతో 21 వేల కోట్ల మేరకు బ్యాంకుల నుంచి రుణాలు ఇప్పిస్తున్నాం.
ఆర్టీసీలో ఆడబిడ్డకు ఉచిత బస్సు సౌకర్యం కల్పించడంతో పాటు మహిళా సంఘాలకు వెయ్యి బస్సులిచ్చి కిరాయికి ఇచ్చే విధంగా అవకాశం ఇచ్చాం. 200 యూనిట్ ఉచితంగా ఇవ్వడమే కాకుండా సోలార్ విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి ప్లాంట్లను ఆడబిడ్డలకు ఇస్తున్నాం. అలాగే జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాలకు పెట్రోల్ బంక్ లు నడిపించే బాధ్యత ఇచ్చాం. అమ్మ ఆదర్శ పాఠశాల పేరుతో వాటిని నిర్వహించే బాధ్యత ఇచ్చాం.
దేశంలో ఎస్సీ వర్గీకరణ పూర్తి చేసిన ఏకైక రాష్ట్రం తెలంగాణ. రాష్ట్రంలో కులగణన పూర్తి చేయడం ద్వారా వచ్చే జనగణనలో కులగణన చేసే విధంగా ఒత్తిడి తెచ్చి తలొగ్గే విధంగా చేయగలిగాం. స్థానిక సంస్థల్లో 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పిస్తున్నాం..” అని వివరించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పలువురు లబ్దిదారులకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారి చేతుల మీదుగా రేషన్ కార్డులను పంపిణీ చేశారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy, who initiated the distribution of new ration cards with the aim of ensuring food security for the poor, delivered another important announcement for unemployed youth. He declared that the public government, which is committed to the welfare of farmers, women, and youth, will fill a total of one lakh government jobs within the first two and a half years of its tenure.
The Chief Minister stated that the government has already filled 60,000 jobs in its first year and will complete the recruitment of one lakh positions by mid-term, providing a stable and dignified future to lakhs of unemployed families.
He formally launched the distribution of new ration cards at a program organized by the Civil Supplies Department in Tirumalagiri, Tungaturthi constituency of Suryapet district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for various development works.
Legislative Council Chairman Shri Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Ministers Shri Uttam Kumar Reddy, Shri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Shri Adluri Laxman Kumar, government advisors, Lok Sabha members, PCC President, MLC Shri Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, several MLAs, MLCs, and local public representatives were present.
Addressing the public gathering, the Chief Minister said, “It is a matter of pride to begin the distribution of ration cards from this historic land of struggle. This is the land where people fought for land, for liberation, and for justice. It is where Ravi Narayana Reddy won with a record majority, proving the strength of the armed peasant movement. The history of this district reflects the spirit of Telangana’s history.”
Responding to a request from Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, the Chief Minister assured that the government would not rest until the Godavari waters from Devadula Package-6 are brought to the Tungaturthi constituency to make the region agriculturally prosperous.
After beginning ration card distribution in the Huzurnagar constituency, the process has now started in Tungaturthi. He criticized the previous government, stating that in the last ten years, there was no proper initiative to issue new ration cards to the poor, even while crores of people were depending on ration rice.
“Agriculture is not a business racket. It is a livelihood and a celebration,” the Chief Minister said. He highlighted the government’s loan waiver of ₹2 lakh each for over 25.55 lakh farmers, totaling ₹21,000 crore. Additionally, a ₹500 bonus is being paid per quintal over and above the minimum support price.
He noted the joy seen in the eyes of 70 lakh farmers after the government disbursed ₹9,000 crore in just nine days under the Rythu Bharosa (Farmer Assurance) scheme, covering 1.49 lakh acres. He reiterated the promise of purchasing every grain harvested and shared that Telangana achieved a national record by procuring 2.85 crore metric tonnes of grain in a single year.
Speaking on inclusive welfare, the Chief Minister said that ration cards are not just about food — they symbolize the self-respect of the poor. Over 26 lakh names were corrected in existing cards, and lakhs of new ration cards are being issued to benefit eligible families.
We have decided to give two sarees to each woman member of the 67 lakh self-help groups in the state during the festival. We are also facilitating bank loans worth ₹21,000 crores at zero interest.
In addition to providing free RTC bus travel for women, we have created an opportunity to lease 1,000 buses to women’s groups. Along with 200 units of free electricity, we are also providing solar power generation units to women. The responsibility of running petrol pumps in district centres has also been entrusted to self-help groups. They are being operated under the name of Amma Adarsh School.
Telangana is the only state in the country to have completed Scheduled Caste classification. With the successful completion of the caste census in the state, pressure has been built on the Centre to include caste enumeration in the national census. The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing 42% reservations for Backward Classes in local bodies.
During the event, the Chief Minister personally distributed new ration cards to several beneficiaries.
