టాలీవుడ్, బాలీవుడ్ కాకుండా హాలీవుడ్ చిత్ర పరిశ్రమకు తెలంగాణ కేంద్ర బిందువుగా ఉండాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో సినిమా రంగానికి సంబంధించి ప్రత్యేకమైన చాప్టర్తో తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ (Telangana Rising 2047) విజన్ డాక్యుమెంట్ రూపకల్పన జరుగుతోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు తెలిపారు.
ప్రపంచ ప్రఖ్యాతి గాంచిన ‘రామాయణం’ సీరియల్ను నిర్మించిన సాగర్ పిక్చర్స్ ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ సంస్థ తెరకెక్కించనున్న “శ్రీమద్ భాగవతం” పార్ట్ -1 సినిమా ముహూర్త సన్నివేశాన్ని ముఖ్యమంత్రి క్లాప్ కొట్టి ప్రారంభించారు.
రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీలో జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో శాసనమండలి చైర్మన్ గుత్తా సుఖేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, శాసనసభ స్పీకర్ ప్రసాద్ కుమార్ గారు, మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్ రెడ్డి గారు, సలహాదారు వేం నరేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, సుప్రీంకోర్టు మాజీ న్యాయమూర్తి జస్టిస్ చలమేశ్వర్ గారు, రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీ ఎండీ చెరుకూరి విజయేశ్వరి గారు, ఈనాడు సంస్థల ఎండీ చెరుకూరి కిరణ్ గారితో పాటు సాగర్ పిక్చర్స్ ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ ప్రతినిధులు ఆకాశ్ మోతీ సాగర్ గారు, అమృత్ సాగర్ గారు, సీఈవో అకాశ్ సాగర్ చోప్రా గారితో పాటు నటీనటులు, యూనిట్ సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, “రామాయణం, భాగవతం, మహాభారతం మన జీవితంలో, సంస్కృతిలో ఒక భాగం. అలాంటి గొప్ప దృశ్య కావ్యాన్ని తెరకెక్కించడం అందరికీ గొప్ప ప్రేరణను ఇస్తుంది. భారతీయ వసుదైక కుటుంబం గురించి ఒక భావన కల్పించడానికి శ్రీమద్ భాగవతం (పార్ట్ -1) సినిమాను తెరకెక్కిస్తున్న సాగర్ పిక్చర్స్ సంస్థకు అభినందనలు.
40 ఏళ్ల కిందట రామానంద సాగర్ గారు నిర్మించిన రామాయణం (Ramayan) సీరియల్ దూరదర్శన్లో వస్తుందంటే రోడ్లన్నీ నిర్మానుష్యంగా ఉండేవి. ఆ సీరియల్ వల్ల దూరదర్శన్ ప్రజలకు చేరువైంది. కోవిడ్ సమయంలోనూ మరోసారి రామాయణం ప్రసారం చేసి ప్రపంచ రికార్డును సృష్టించింది.
ఇప్పుడు మూడో తరం వారు శ్రీమద్ భాగవతాన్ని సినిమాగా తెరకెక్కిస్తున్నందుకు అభినందనలు. ఈ సినిమా విజయవంతం కావాలి. రానున్న రోజుల్లో రామాయణం సీరియల్ ను మించి రికార్డు సృష్టిస్తుంది. దేశంలోనే అద్భుతమైన సినిమాగా రాణించాలి. అందుకు ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి సంపూర్ణ సహకారం ఉంటుంది.
ప్రతిష్టాత్మక చిత్రాన్ని రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీలో నిర్మించడం సంతోషకరం. రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీ దేశంలోనే ప్రత్యేకమైన ఈ స్టూడియో ఇక్కడ ఉండటం తెలంగాణకు గర్వకారణం. తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047 డాక్యుమెంట్లో రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీ స్ఫూర్తిగా ప్రణాళికలు రచిస్తున్నాం..” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చెప్పారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy stated that the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document is being prepared with a dedicated chapter for the film sector, aiming to position Telangana as a global hub for the film industry — not just for Tollywood and Bollywood, but also as a potential focal point for Hollywood.
The Chief Minister participated in the muhurta shot of the film Srimad Bhagavatam (Part-1), produced by Sagar Pictures Entertainment — the creators of the globally acclaimed Ramayana television series.
Legislative Council Chairman Shri Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Minister Shri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Advisor Shri Vem Narender Reddy, former Supreme Court Judge Justice J. Chelameswar, Ramoji Film City MD Smt. Cherukuri Vijayeshwari, Eenadu Companies MD Shri Cherukuri Kiran, and Sagar Pictures representatives Akash Moti Sagar, Amrit Sagar, and CEO Akash Sagar Chopra were present along with film actors and crew at the event held in Ramoji Film City.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “Ramayana, Bhagavatam, and Mahabharata are integral to our life and culture. Bringing such epics to screen serves as a great inspiration. Congratulations to Sagar Pictures for taking up Srimad Bhagavatam (Part-1) to portray the idea of an Indian Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.”
He recalled that four decades ago, when Ramayana was telecast on Doordarshan, roads would be empty, as people across the country watched it. The serial reached deep into society and even during the COVID-19 pandemic, its re-telecast created a world record.
The Chief Minister congratulated the third generation of the Sagar family for producing Srimad Bhagavatam as a film and expressed hope for its grand success. He said the government would extend full support for the project, and that it would surpass even the historic Ramayana series in impact.
He noted the significance of producing such a prestigious project at Ramoji Film City, describing it as a one-of-its-kind studio in the country and a matter of pride for Telangana. He added that the Telangana Rising 2047 vision draws inspiration from Ramoji Film City in planning for the future of the media and film sector.
