పారిశ్రామిక రంగంలో పెట్టుబడులకు తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం అవసరమైన ప్రోత్సాహకాలను అందిస్తుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు స్పష్టం చేశారు. పారిశ్రామిక రంగం అభివృద్ధికి అవసరమైన మౌలిక సదుపాయాలు, రాయితీలు, అనుమతులను మంజూరు చేయడం వంటి సానుకూల వాతావరణం కల్పిస్తామని చెప్పారు.
శామీర్పేట్ జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీలో ఐకార్ బయాలజిక్స్ (ICHOR Biologics) కొత్త యూనిట్కు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు భూమిపూజ నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, వివేక్ వెంకటస్వామి గారు, శాసనసభ్యులు పి. సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డి గారు, ఐకార్ మేనేజింగ్ డైరెక్టర్ సూదిని ఆనంద రెడ్డి గారితో పాటు అధికారులు, సంస్థ సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సదస్సులో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, రాష్ట్రంలో పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టాలని పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలకు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ఐటీ, ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వెహికిల్స్, ఫార్మా, బయో సైన్సెస్లతో పాటు ఇతర రంగాల్లో పెట్టుబడులతో ముందుకొచ్చే పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలకు అన్ని విధాలుగా ప్రోత్సాహాన్ని అందిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
“ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా మారుతున్న పరిస్థితులకు అనుగుణంగా పెట్టుబడులకు చైనాకు ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా పారిశ్రామిక రంగం భారత్ వైపు దృష్టి సారించగా, అందుకు అత్యుత్తమ గమ్యస్థానంగా తెలంగాణ ఉండాలన్న సంకల్పంతో పనిచేస్తున్నాం.
తెలంగాణ ప్రపంచ దేశాలతో పోటీ పడాలన్నది మా ఆలోచన. 2047 నాటికి దేశం 30 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా ఎదగాలని నిర్దేశించగా, అందులో తెలంగాణ నుంచి 10 శాతం మేరకు కంట్రిబ్యూట్ చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నాం. నిర్దేశిత గడువు నాటికి 3 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక శక్తిగా ఎదగాలని లక్ష్యంతో పెట్టుకున్నాం.
బల్క్ డ్రగ్స్, వాక్సిన్ల తయారీలో ప్రపంచంలోనే తెలంగాణకు పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతులు వచ్చాయంటే ఇక్కడి పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తల కృషి ఎంతో ఉంది. కోవిడ్ మహమ్మారి ప్రపంచాన్ని బయపెడుతున్న సమయంలో జినోమ్ వ్యాలీ నుంచే వ్యాక్సీన్లు తయారు చేసి దాదాపు వంద దేశాలకు సరఫరా చేసిన సందర్భం తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రానికి గర్వకారణం.
ఈరోజు దేశంలో 33 శాతం వ్యాక్సీన్లు తెలంగాణ నుంచి ఉత్పత్తి అవుతుండగా, 40 శాతం మేరకు బల్క్ డ్రగ్స్ ఉత్పత్తు చేస్తున్నామంటే ఈ రంగాల్లో పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టిన వారు ఎంతో నిబద్ధతతో పనిచేస్తూ దేశానికి మంచి పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతులు తెచ్చారు. ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో బయో, ఫార్మసీ రంగంలో కూడా ప్రపంచంలోని అత్యాధునిక విధానాలు అవలంభిస్తున్న పరిశ్రమలను అహ్వానించాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో పనిచేస్తున్నాం.
జినోమ్ వ్యాలీ పెట్టుబడుదారులకు స్వాగతం పలుకుతున్నాం. ప్రభుత్వ పరంగా అన్ని రకాలుగా ప్రోత్సాహకాలను అందిస్తుంది. మీ మద్దతు కావాలి. పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టండి..” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు ఐకార్ లోగో ఆవిష్కరించగా, మంత్రి వివేక్ గారు వెబ్సైట్ను ప్రారంభించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy stated that the Telangana government will provide necessary incentives for investments in the industrial sector. He said a positive environment will be created through the provision of infrastructure, subsidies, and permissions essential for industrial growth.
The Chief Minister performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the new unit of ICHOR Biologics at Genome Valley, Shamirpet. Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Vivek Venkataswamy, MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy, ICHOR Managing Director Sudini Ananda Reddy, along with officials and company staff, participated in the event.
Addressing a conference on the occasion, the Chief Minister urged industrialists to invest in the state. He assured that all possible support would be extended to those investing in IT, electric vehicles, pharma, biosciences, and other sectors.
“In line with changing global conditions, the industrial sector is looking to India as an alternative to China, and we are determined to make Telangana the top destination for such investments.
Our vision is for Telangana to compete globally. With India aiming to become a $30 trillion economy by 2047, we have set a goal to contribute 10 percent of it from Telangana, targeting a $3 trillion economy for the state.
Telangana’s global recognition in the production of bulk drugs and vaccines is a result of the hard work of our industrialists. During the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccines manufactured in Genome Valley were supplied to nearly 100 countries — a moment of pride for the state.
Currently, Telangana accounts for 33 percent of the country’s vaccine production and 40 percent of bulk drugs. The committed efforts of investors in these sectors have brought a good name to the country. We are now working to attract industries that follow the world’s most advanced practices in the bio and pharma sectors.
