కార్పొరేట్ ఆసుపత్రుల్లో పనిచేస్తున్న వైద్యులు ఏడాదిలో కనీసం ఒక నెల రోజుల పాటు ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రుల్లో నిరుపేదలకు సేవలు అందించే ఆలోచన చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ఒక సామాజిక బాధ్యతగా సామాన్య ప్రజలకు సేవలు అందించడం వల్ల వైద్య వృత్తిలో గొప్ప అనుభూతి, ఆత్మ సంతృప్తి లభిస్తుందని అన్నారు.
హైదరాబాద్ బంజారాహిల్స్లో ఏఐజీ (AIG) నెలకొల్పిన నూతన ఆసుపత్రిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడుతూ, కార్పొరేట్ రంగంలో ఉన్న వైద్యులు ప్రభుత్వ సేవలు అందించాలంటే అనుసంధానం చేయడానికి వీలుగా ఇప్పటివరకు సరైన వేదిక లేదని, అలాంటి వ్యవస్థను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని అధికారులకు సూచించినట్టు చెప్పారు.
“అమెరికాలో స్థిరపడిన మన రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన డాక్టర్లు ఎప్పుడైనా ఇక్కడికి వచ్చినప్పుడు వారు సేవలు అందించాలంటే అందుకు తగిన ప్లాట్ఫామ్ ఏదీ లేదు. వారిక్కడ ఉన్న సమయంలో వారి సేవలు అందించాలనుకుంటే అందుకు అనుగుణంగా ఒక వేదిక ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని అధికారులకు సూచించాం.
ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రికి వెళితే ప్రాణాలు పోతాయన్న అభిప్రాయం నుంచి దూరం చేయాలన్న ఆలోచనతో కార్పొరేట్కు ధీటుగా ప్రభుత్వ రంగంలో వైద్య సేవలు అందించాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోంది. అందులో భాగంగానే వందేళ్ల ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రికి 30 ఎకరాల స్థలం కేటాయించి 3 వేల కోట్లతో కొత్త ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మిస్తున్నాం.
నిమ్స్లో మరో 2 వేల పడకల విభాగం ప్రారంభించబోతున్నాం. అలాగే వరంగల్, అల్వాల్, ఎల్బీ నగర్, సనత్నగర్ తదితర ప్రాంతాల్లో కార్పొరేట్కు దీటుగా రాష్ట్రంలో 7 వేల పడకలతో ఆసుపత్రులను వచ్చే డిసెంబర్ 9 నాటికి అందుబాటులోకి తేవాలని నిర్ధేశించాం.
పెరిగిన వైద్య ఖర్చులను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని అధికారం చేపట్టగానే రాజీవ్ ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ పరిమితిని 2 లక్షల నుంచి 10 లక్షలకు పెంచాం. దాంతో పాటు ముఖ్యమంత్రి సహాయ నిధి (CMRF) కింద ఇప్పటివరకు 14 వందల కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేశాం. నిరుపేదలకు వీలైనంత వరకు విద్య, వైద్యం అందించాలన్న ఆలోచనతో ఆ రంగాలకు అధిక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తున్నాం. బడ్జెట్లో వైద్య రంగానికి 11,500 కోట్లు, విద్యకు 21 వేల కోట్లు కేటాయించాం.
రాష్ట్రంలో స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాల్లో కోటి మంది సభ్యులను చేర్పించడమే కాకుండా వారందరి హెల్త్ ప్రొఫైల్ తయారు చేయాలన్నది మా లక్ష్యం. వారందరికీ వారివారి హెల్త్ ప్రొఫైల్స్తో ఒక యూనిక్ ఐడీ నంబర్తో కార్డులను జారీ చేయాలి. మహిళలు ఎక్కువగా క్యాన్సర్ బారిన పడుతున్నారు. అందుకే నివారణ చర్యల్లో భాగంగా హెల్త్ ప్రొఫైల్స్ తయారు చేయాలన్న ఆలోచన చేశాం.
రాబోయే వంద సంవత్సరాలు లక్ష్యంగా తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047 విజన్ డాక్యుమెంట్లో ఒక చాప్టర్ ఆరోగ్య రంగం. అందుకోసం డాక్టర్ నాగేశ్వర రెడ్డి గారి భాగస్వామ్యం కావాలి. క్యాన్సర్ చికిత్సకు సంబంధించి ఇటీవలే ప్రఖ్యాత ఆంకాలజిస్ట్ డాక్టర్ నోరి దత్తాత్రేయుడు గారిని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం సలహాదారుగా నియమించింది.
హైదరాబాద్ నగర ప్రజలకు రెండో అతిపెద్ద ఆసుపత్రిని అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చినందుకు డాక్టర్ నాగేశ్వరరెడ్డి గారికి అభినందనలు. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా దాదాపు 65 దేశాల నుంచి చికిత్స కోసం ఏఐజీ ఆసుపత్రికి వస్తున్నారంటే అది రాష్ట్రానికి గర్వకారణం. ఏఐజీ ఆసుపత్రి రూపొందించిన జననీ మిత్ర యాప్ వినియోగానికి సంబంధించి అధికారులను పంపించి అధ్యయనం చేయమని చెబుతాం.
ప్రస్తుతం నర్సింగ్ ప్రొఫెషన్ కు జపాన్ దేశంలో మంచి డిమాండ్ ఉంది. అందుకే మన వాళ్లకు జపనీస్ ల్యాంగ్వేజ్ నేర్పించాలని నిర్ణయించాం. భారత్ వెనుకబడిన దేశం అన్న అభిప్రాయం నుంచి బయకు తీసుకురావాలి. ప్రపంచంలోనే అనేక విషయాల్లో ఎన్నో విజయాలు సాధించిన చరిత్ర మనకున్నది” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వివరించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy has appealed to doctors working in corporate hospitals to dedicate at least one month each year to serve the poor in government hospitals. He stated that serving the common people as a social responsibility brings immense satisfaction and fulfillment to the medical profession.
The Chief Minister inaugurated a new hospital established by AIG in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, he noted the lack of an effective platform connecting corporate doctors to government healthcare services and directed officials to create such a system.
“Whenever doctors from our state, who have settled in the United States, return to offer their services, there is no structured system to facilitate their contribution. We have instructed officials to build a platform that enables them to provide services while they are here.”
The government is striving to deliver medical services in public hospitals that match the standards of corporate healthcare. To eliminate the perception that government hospitals are unsafe, the government is allocating 30 acres of land to the century-old Osmania Hospital and is constructing a new facility at a cost of ₹3,000 crore.
Another 2,000-bed unit is being initiated at NIMS. Additionally, 7,000-bed hospitals, designed to meet corporate standards, are being developed in Warangal, Alwal, LB Nagar, Sanathnagar, and other parts of the state, with a target completion date of December 9.
Recognising the rising costs of healthcare, the government increased the Rajiv Aarogyasri coverage from ₹2 lakh to ₹10 lakh immediately upon assuming office. So far, ₹1,400 crore has been disbursed under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). The government is prioritising health and education for the underprivileged, allocating ₹11,500 crore for healthcare and ₹21,000 crore for education in the budget.
The government also aims to cover one crore members of self-help groups with comprehensive health profiling. Each member will receive a health card with a unique ID. As women are more prone to cancer, this profiling initiative is part of a broader preventive healthcare strategy.
The health sector is a key component of the ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ vision document, which outlines the state’s long-term developmental goals for the next century. The Chief Minister emphasised the importance of Dr. Nageswara Reddy’s involvement in this initiative and mentioned the recent appointment of renowned oncologist Dr. Nori Dattatreyudu as a government advisor on cancer care.
The Chief Minister congratulated Dr. Nageswara Reddy for making the second-largest hospital accessible to the people of Hyderabad. He said it is a matter of pride that patients from over 65 countries are seeking treatment at AIG Hospital. He also announced that officials would study the Janani Mitra app developed by the hospital.
Highlighting international opportunities, the Chief Minister noted the growing demand for nursing professionals in Japan. As a proactive step, the government has decided to provide Japanese language training to local youth. He stressed the need to shed outdated perceptions of India as a backward nation, stating that the country has a proud record of achievements in various global arenas.
