తెలంగాణలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారి నేతృత్వంలోని ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం క్రీడా రంగం అభివృద్ధికి తీసుకుంటున్న చర్యలను భారత క్రికెట్ జట్టు మాజీ కెప్టెన్ కపిల్ దేవ్ గారు ప్రశంసించారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారిని ఢిల్లీలోని అధికారిక నివాసంలో కపిల్ దేవ్ గారు కలిసి పలు అంశాలపై చర్చించారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో యంగ్ ఇండియా స్పోర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఏర్పాటు, క్రీడాభివృద్ధికి తమ ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటున్న చర్యలను ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు వివరించారు. దక్షిణ కొరియాతో పాటు పలు దేశాల్లో తాము సందర్శించిన క్రీడా యూనివర్సిటీలు.. అక్కడి క్రీడా ప్రముఖులతో జరిగిన భేటీల వివరాలను ప్రస్తావించారు.
యంగ్ ఇండియా స్పోర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ (Young India Sport University) తో పాటు తెలంగాణలో క్రీడాభివృద్ధికి సంబంధించిన అన్ని విషయాల్లో భాగస్వామి కావడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నట్టు కపిల్ దేవ్ గారు ఈ సందర్భంగా తెలియజేశారు.
Former Indian cricket team captain Sri Kapil Dev has praised the steps being taken by the people’s government led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy for the development of sports in Telangana. Sri Kapil Dev met the Chief Minister at his official residence in Delhi and discussed various issues.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister explained the initiatives being undertaken by his government for the promotion of sports, including the establishment of the Young India Sports University in the state. He shared details of his visits to sports universities in various countries, including South Korea, and his interactions with international sports personalities.
Sri Kapil Dev stated that he is ready to be a partner in all matters related to the development of sports in Telangana, including the Young India Sports University.
