తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ఢిల్లీలో యునైటెడ్ కింగ్డమ్ మాజీ ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ టోనీ బ్లెయిర్ గారితో సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ‘తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ 2047’ (Telangana Rising 2047) విజన్లోని కీలక అంశాలను పంచుకున్నారు. ఈ విజన్ డాక్యుమెంట్ను ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం రెండవ వార్షికోత్సవం సందర్భంగా డిసెంబర్ 9, 2025న అధికారికంగా ఆవిష్కరించనున్నారు.
టోనీ బ్లెయిర్ గారు క్రియాశీల రాజకీయాల నుంచి తప్పుకున్న తర్వాత, ప్రపంచ నాయకుల విజన్, వ్యూహరచన, వాటి అమలుకు సహాయపడాలనే లక్ష్యంతో టోనీ బ్లెయిర్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఫర్ గ్లోబల్ చేంజ్ (TBIGC)ను స్థాపించారు. ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం రూపొందించిన Telangana Rising విజన్ అమలులో సహకరించడానికి రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం, టోనీ బ్లెయిర్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఫర్ గ్లోబల్ చేంజ్ (TBIGC) మధ్య అవగాహన ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారితో పాటు నీటిపారుదల మరియు పౌర సరఫరాల శాఖ మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారు, ఎంపీలు డాక్టర్ మల్లు రవి గారు, రఘువీర్ రెడ్డి గారు, ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు ఏపీ జితేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు, ప్రత్యేక ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి జయేశ్ రంజన్ గారు, కార్యదర్శి (సమన్వయం) గౌరవ్ ఉప్పల్ గారు ఉన్నారు.
తెలంగాణలో రైతులు, యువత, మహిళలు వంటి విభిన్న వర్గాల సామాజిక, ఆర్థిక అభివృద్ధికి ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తున్నట్లు ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పేర్కొన్నారు. తెలంగాణ కోర్ అర్బన్, సెమీ-అర్బన్, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల వారీగా అభివృద్ధి కోసం సూక్ష్మ ప్రణాళికను సరికొత్తగా రూపొందిస్తున్నట్టు తెలిపారు.
సుస్థిరత సూత్రాలతో తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధి ఎజెండా దృఢంగా ఉందని టోనీ బ్లెయిర్ గారు ప్రశంసించారు. భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ (Bharat Future City), యంగ్ ఇండియా స్కిల్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ (Young India Skills University), యంగ్ ఇండియా స్పోర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ (Young India Sports University) వంటి ప్రధాన కార్యక్రమాలపై టోనీ బ్లెయిర్ గారు ప్రత్యేక ఆసక్తిని వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy met former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Sri Tony Blair, in New Delhi. During the meeting, the Chief Minister shared key highlights of the long-term vision document ‘Telangana Rising 2047’. This document is set to be officially launched on December 9, 2025, marking the second anniversary of the Praja Government.
Sri Tony Blair, after stepping away from active politics, established the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBIGC) to support global leaders in shaping visionary policies, strategic planning, and effective implementation. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Telangana State Government and TBIGC to collaborate on the implementation of the Telangana Rising vision prepared by the Praja Government.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Sri Uttam Kumar Reddy, Members of Parliament Dr. Mallu Ravi and Sri Raghuveer Reddy, Government Advisor Sri A.P. Jitender Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Sri Jayesh Ranjan, and Secretary (Coordination) Sri Gaurav Uppal.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the Telangana Government is according top priority to the social and economic development of various sections of society, including farmers, youth, and women. He added that a comprehensive micro-planning approach is being developed to ensure targeted growth across core urban, semi-urban, and rural areas of the state.
Sri Tony Blair appreciated Telangana’s development agenda, particularly its strong focus on sustainability principles. He expressed keen interest in flagship initiatives such as Bharat Future City, Young India Skills University, and Young India Sports University.
