కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రంలో అత్యంత వైభవంగా నిర్వహించే మైసూరు దసరా ఉత్సవాల్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు పాల్గొన్నారు. మైసూరు దసరా ఉత్సవాల్లో అత్యంత ముఖ్యమైన ఘట్టం జంబూ సవారిలో అందంగా అలంకరించిన ఏనుగుపై బంగారు అంబారీలో కొలువుదీరిన చాముండేశ్వరి అమ్మవారి ఉత్సవమూర్తిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు దర్శించుకున్నారు.
కన్నడ సంస్కృతిని ప్రతిబింబించే జానపద కళాకారులు, సంగీత బృందాలు, నృత్య బృందాలు, వివిధ సాంస్కృతిక ప్రదర్శనలు ఈ ఊరేగింపులో పాల్గొన్నాయి. కర్నాటక నాడ హబ్బ (రాష్ట్ర పండుగ) ఉత్సవాలు భారతీయ సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాలు, భక్తి, కళలు, చారిత్రక వారసత్వానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలుస్తాయి.
కర్నాటక ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ DK శివకుమార్ గారి ఆహ్వానం మేరకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఈ ఉత్సవాల్లో పాల్గొన్నారు. కేరళం ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ VD సతీషన్ గారితో పాటు ఎంతోమంది దేశ, విదేశాలకు చెందిన ప్రముఖులతో కలిసి ఉత్సవాలను వీక్షించారు.
మైసూరు రాజభవనం వద్ద నిర్వహించిన ఈ దసరా వేడుకల్లో పాల్గొనడానికి ముందు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మైసూరు ప్రజల ఆరాధ్య దైవమైన చాముండేశ్వరి ఆలయానికి వెళ్లి అమ్మవారిని దర్శించుకుని ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy participated in the grand Mysuru Dasara celebrations in Karnataka and witnessed the Jamboo Savari, featuring the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari seated in a golden howdah atop a beautifully decorated elephant.
Folk artists, music troupes and dance groups showcased Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage, making the procession a symbol of India’s traditions, devotion and artistic legacy.
At the invitation of Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Sri D.K. Shivakumar, the Chief Minister attended the celebrations alongside Kerala Chief Minister Sri V.D. Satheesan and several national and international dignitaries.
Before the celebrations, the Chief Minister visited the revered Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysuru and offered special prayers to the Goddess.
