తెలంగాణ కేంద్రంగా చలనచిత్ర పరిశ్రమల అభివృద్ధి చెందడానికి, సినిమాలకు సంబంధించి అవసరమైన అన్ని రకాల అనుమతుల కోసం సింగిల్ విండో విధానం అమలు చేస్తామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ప్రకటించారు. ఐటీ, ఫార్మా పరిశ్రమలకు కేంద్రంగా ఉన్నట్టుగానే హైదరాబాద్ను గ్లోబల్ సినీ హబ్ గా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రయత్నిస్తోందని చెప్పారు.
హైదరాబాద్ హైటెక్స్ ఎగ్జిబిషన్ సెంటర్ లో నిర్వహించిన తెలంగాణ గద్దర్ ఫిలిం అవార్డుల (TGFA) బహూకరణ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి మల్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క గారు, మంత్రి జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు గారు, పలువురు ఎంపీలు, సలహాదారులు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, తెలంగాణ ఫిల్మ్ డెవల్మెంట్ చైర్మన్ దిల్ రాజు గారు, చిత్ర పరిశ్రమకు చెందిన దిగ్గజాలు చిరంజీవి గారు, కమల్ హాసన్ గారు, నాగార్జున గారు, మాధురి దీక్షిత్ గారు, జయసుధ గారు, ఖుష్బూ గారు, జెనీలియా గారితో పాటు దర్శకులు, నిర్మాతలు, నటీనటులు హాజరయ్యారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ.. “ఐటీ, ఫార్మా తరహాలోనే సినిమా రంగాన్ని ఒక పరిశ్రమగా గుర్తించి పోత్సహించాలన్న ఆలోచన చేసిన కారణంగానే రాష్ట్రంలో గత పదేళ్లుగా ఆగిపోయిన నంది అవార్డుల స్థానంలో గద్దర్ గారి పేరుతో అవార్డులను పునరుద్ధరించాం. ఆగిపోయిన 10 ఏళ్ల అవార్డులనూ బహూకరించాం.
రెండో విడతగా నిర్వహించుకుంటున్న ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో అవార్డు గ్రహీతలందరికీ తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం తరఫున ప్రత్యేక అభినందనలు. గద్దర్ సినిమా అవార్డులను ప్రధానం చేయడం తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఒక బాధ్యతగా భావించింది.
ఒకప్పుడు చెన్నై నుంచి హైదరాబాద్కు సినిమా పరిశ్రమ తరలిరావడానికి ఎన్టీఆర్, అక్కినేని నాగేశ్వర రావు, రామానాయుడు, కృష్ణ గారు తీవ్రమైన కృషి చేశారు. చార్మినార్కు నాలుగు మినార్లు ఎలాగో తెలుగు సినిమా పరిశ్రమ తరలి రావడానికి ఈ నలుగురు విశేషంగా కృషి చేశారు.
సినీ కార్మికుల కోసం నటుడు ప్రభాకర్ రెడ్డి గారు తన సొంత స్థలాన్ని ఇళ్లు కట్టుకోవడానికి దానమిచ్చారు. పరిశ్రమలో ఏ సమస్య వచ్చినా, సంక్షోభం వచ్చినా పరిష్కరించడానికి దర్శకుడు దాసరి నారాయణ రావు గారు చేసిన కృషి గుర్తుచేసుకోవలసిన అవసరం ఉంది. రామోజీరావు గారు రామోజీ ఫిల్మ్ సిటీ స్థాపించడంతో హైదరాబాద్లో సినిమా పరిశ్రమ శాశ్వతంగా వేళ్లూనుకోవడానికి కారణమైంది.
హిందీ, తమిళ్, కన్నడ, మలయాళం, తెలుగు అని కాకుండా పాన్ ఇండియా – భారతీయ సినిమా ఒక గ్లోబల్ హబ్గా పరిశ్రమ మొత్తం ఒకే గొడుగు కిందకు వచ్చి గొప్ప సినిమాలు అందించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది. హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాలను సైతం హైదరాబాద్ నగరానికి ఆహ్వానించి ఇక్కడి నుంచే నిర్మించేలా ఉన్నతంగా తీర్చిదిద్దుకుందాం.
ఓటీటీ ప్లాట్ ఫామ్ లో దిగ్గజ సంస్థ నెట్ ఫ్లిక్స్ Netflix ఐలైన్ హైదరాబాద్ తన కేంద్రాన్ని ప్రారంభించింది. నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ రాకతో హైదరాబాద్కు హాలీవుడ్ వచ్చినట్టే. అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ఇక్కడ సినిమాల నిర్మాణం కోసం సింగిల్ విండో విధానం అమలు చేస్తాం. అందుకు త్వరలోనే ఒక ప్లాట్ఫామ్ క్రియేట్ చేస్తాం.
లక్షల కోట్ల మందిని తన గళంతో ప్రజలను ప్రభావితం చేసిన ప్రజాయుద్ధ నౌక గద్దర్ ఒక చైతన్యం, స్ఫూర్తి, అందుకని గద్దర్ గారి పేరుతో ఈ అవార్డులను పునరుద్ధరించాం. సామాజిక సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించుకోవడానికి సినిమాలు అత్యంత ప్రభావవంతమైన ఆయుధం.
సమాజాన్ని చైతన్య పరిచేందుకు సినిమా ఒక సాధనంగా ఉపయోగపడాలి. సామాజిక బాధ్యతను గుర్తెరిగి, సామాజిక సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి సినిమాల ద్వారా సందేశం అందించాలి.
హైదరాబాద్, తెలంగాణ అత్యంత భద్రత కలిగిన రాష్ట్రం. టాలెంట్కు అవకాశాలున్నాయి. హైదరాబాద్ అన్ని అవకాశాలను కల్పిస్తుంది. హాలీవుడ్ చిత్రాలను ఇక్కడ నిర్మించండి. మీ పెట్టుబడులకు భద్రత ఉంటుంది. అందుకు తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం హామీనిస్తుంది…” అని చెప్పారు.
ప్రత్యేక విభాగంలో కొణిదెల చిరంజీవి (ఎన్టీఆర్ జాతీయ పురస్కారం), సింగీతం శ్రీనివాస రావు (బీఎన్ రెడ్డి ఫిల్మ్ అవార్డు), చలసాని అశ్వినీదత్ (నాగిరెడ్డి – చక్రపాణి అవార్డు), సుద్దాల అశోక్ తేజ (డాక్టర్ సి. నారాయణరెడ్డి అవార్డు), జయసుధ (అక్కినేని నాగేశ్వరరావు అవార్డు), ఆర్ నారాయణ మూర్తి (కాంతారావు అవార్డు), అక్కినేని రమేష్ ప్రసాద్ (రఘుపతి వెంకయ్య అవార్డు), కమల్ హాసన్ (పైడి జైరాజ్ అవార్డు), ఉత్తమ నటుడు నాగ చైతన్య (తండేల్), ఉత్తమ నటిగా రష్మిక (ది గర్ల్ ఫ్రెండ్)లతో పాటు వివిధ కేటగిరీల్లో విజేతలకు జ్ఞాపికలు, ప్రశంసాపత్రం, నగదు బహుమతిని అందించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy announced that a single-window system will be introduced to streamline all film-related permissions, aiming to accelerate the growth of the film industry with Telangana as its hub. He stated that the government is committed to transforming Hyderabad into a global cinema hub, on par with its stature in the IT and pharmaceutical sectors.
The Chief Minister attended as the Chief Guest at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards (TGFA) ceremony held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, MPs, advisors, MLCs, and MLAs were present, along with Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju and leading film personalities including Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna, Madhuri Dixit, Jayasudha, Khushbu, and Genelia.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the awards were revived under the name of Gaddar to recognise cinema as a key industry, similar to IT and Pharma, replacing the long-pending Nandi Awards. Awards were presented for the entire ten-year period during which they had remained stalled.
He congratulated all award recipients and stated that the Telangana government considers the presentation of the Gaddar Film Awards a significant responsibility.
Recalling the contributions of NTR, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Rama Naidu, and Krishna in shifting the Telugu film industry from Chennai to Hyderabad, he likened their role to the four pillars of Charminar in establishing the industry in the city.
He also highlighted the contributions of Prabhakar Reddy, Dasari Narayana Rao, and Ramoji Rao in strengthening the film ecosystem in Hyderabad.
Emphasising unity across languages, he called for the industry to come together under the banner of Indian or Pan-India cinema and strive to position it as a global hub.
Inviting international productions, including Hollywood, to Hyderabad, he assured full support and security for investments, adding that the government will soon introduce a dedicated platform for international-scale film production through a single-window clearance system.
He noted that global OTT platform Netflix has established its presence in Hyderabad, further reinforcing the city’s growing global relevance in the media and entertainment sector.
Highlighting Gaddar’s legacy, he described him as a symbol of social consciousness and said cinema should serve as a powerful medium for societal awareness and progress.
In the special categories, awards, mementos, certificates, and cash prizes were presented to distinguished personalities including Chiranjeevi (NTR National Award), Singeetam Srinivasa Rao (BN Reddy Film Award), Ashwini Dutt (Nagi Reddy–Chakrapani Award), Suddala Ashok Teja (Dr. C. Narayana Reddy Award), Jayasudha (Akkineni Nageswara Rao Award), R. Narayana Murthy (Kanta Rao Award), Akkineni Ramesh Prasad (Raghupathi Venkaiah Award), and Kamal Haasan (Paidi Jairaj Award).
Awards were also presented to Best Actor Naga Chaitanya (Thandel) and Best Actress Rashmika (The Girlfriend), along with winners across various other categories.
