నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ విస్తరణకు భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో అవసరమైన స్థలం కేటాయించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు ప్రకటించారు. ప్రపంచంలోని ఫార్చూన్ 500 కంపెనీలను హైదరాబాద్ నుంచి కార్యకలాపాలను నిర్వహించాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో పనిచేస్తున్నామని, నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ కార్పొరేట్ కార్యాలయం కూడా ఈ మహానగరం నుంచి కొనసాగించాలని అభిలషించారు.
దేశంలో ముంబై తర్వాత హైదరాబాద్లో రెండో అతిపెద్ద నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ ఐలైన్ స్టూడియోను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారితో కలిసి ప్రారంభించారు. ఐలైన్ స్టూడియో ప్రారంభంతో యానిమేషన్, విజువల్ ఎఫెక్ట్స్, గేమింగ్, కామిక్స్ రంగాల్లో హైదరాబాద్ విప్లవాత్మకమైన మార్పులకు వేదిక కానుంది.
ఈ ప్రారంభోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, “ప్రజలు ఎంతగానో ఎదురుచూస్తున్న ఈ తరుణం వచ్చేసింది. నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ హైదరాబాద్కు వచ్చేసింది. తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా నిర్మిస్తున్న భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో సరిపడా పరిమాణంలో నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ విస్తరణ కోసం స్థలం కేటాయిస్తాం. అవసరమైతే నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ కార్పొరేట్ కార్యాలయాన్ని హైదరాబాద్కు రిలొకేట్ చేయాలి.
ఒకప్పుడు బ్లాక్ అండ్ వైట్ నుంచి టెక్నోకలర్, అక్కడి నుంచి ఈస్ట్మన్ కలర్, తర్వాత 70 ఎంఎం, డాల్బీ, అక్కడి నుంచి ఇప్పుడు సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానం ఎంతో అభివృద్ధి చెందింది. ఈ ప్రాంతం టాలీవుడ్, బాలీవుడ్ కాకుండా హాలీవుడ్ కూడా రావాలని మొదటి నుంచి బలంగా కాంక్షిస్తున్నా.
ఫార్చూన్ 500 కంపెనీలను హైదరాబాద్లో ఏర్పాటు కావాలన్నది మా ఆకాంక్ష. 2047 నాటికి 3 ట్రిలియన్ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా ఎదగాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో పనిచేస్తున్నాం. మీ పెట్టుబడులకు అన్ని విధాలుగా రక్షణ ఉంటుంది.

నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో స్పోర్ట్స్పై దృష్టిని సారించింది. స్పోర్ట్స్లో ఈ సంస్థ అతిపెద్ద బ్రాడ్కాస్టింగ్ కంపెనీ కాబోతుంది. తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం కూడా అన్ని స్థాయిల్లో ట్యాలెంట్ను గుర్తించాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో క్రీడల పట్ల, క్రీడాభివృద్ధికి అవసరమైన మౌలిక సదుపాయాల కల్పన, స్పోర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ నెలకొల్పాం. మీకూ మాకూ ఎంతో సారూప్యత కలిగిన నేపథ్యంలో నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ – హైదరాబాద్ రెండూ కలిసి మంచి విజయాలను సాధించాలి.

ఈ ప్రారంభోత్సవ కార్యక్రమంలో ఐలైన్ స్టూడియో సీఈఓ జెఫ్ షపిరో గారు, కేంద్ర సమాచార ప్రసార మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ కార్యదర్శి సంజయ్ జాజు గారు, సినీ నటుడు, నిర్మాత రాణా దగ్గుబాటి, తెలంగాణ ఫిలిం డెవల్మెంట్ కార్పొరేషన్ చైర్మన్ దిల్ రాజు గారితో పాటు నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్కు చెందిన పలువురు ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy announced that the Government of Telangana stands ready to earmark suitable land in the upcoming Bharat Future City to facilitate the expansion of #Netflix, reaffirming the State’s commitment to positioning Hyderabad as a preferred destination for leading global enterprises.
The Chief Minister underscored that the Government is actively working towards attracting Fortune 500 companies to operate from #Hyderabad and expressed the expectation that Netflix would further strengthen its presence by establishing its corporate office in the city.
The Chief Minister, along with IT and Industries Minister Sri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, inaugurated the Netflix Eyeline Studios in Hyderabad.
With this launch, Hyderabad now hosts the second-largest Eyeline Labs facility in India after Mumbai, marking an important milestone in the city’s growing prominence in the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics (AVGC) ecosystem.
The establishment of the studio is expected to catalyse significant advancements in animation, visual effects, gaming, and related creative technologies.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister observed that the arrival of Netflix in Hyderabad represents a significant moment for the State’s rapidly expanding creative and digital economy.
He stated that the #Telangana Government would extend comprehensive institutional support for the company’s growth and reiterated that land of an appropriate scale would be earmarked in Bharat Future City to support its future expansion. He also expressed the hope that Netflix would consider relocating its corporate office to Hyderabad.
Reflecting on the evolution of cinematic and media technologies – from the era of black-and-white cinema to Technicolor, Eastman Color, 70 mm formats, Dolby sound, and the present age of advanced digital production – the Chief Minister noted that Hyderabad has long been an important centre for the Indian film industry.
He emphasised that the city’s vision now extends beyond serving as a hub for #Tollywood and #Bollywood, aspiring to attract global creative industries, including #Hollywood-level production ecosystems.
The Chief Minister reiterated the Government’s broader ambition of transforming Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047, driven by innovation, strategic investments, and global partnerships. He assured investors that the State Government would provide a stable policy environment and full protection for investments made in Telangana.
Highlighting the remarkable global journey of Netflix – from a DVD rental service to one of the world’s leading #OTT streaming platforms – the Chief Minister noted that the platform connects talent and content with audiences across the world.
He stated that the establishment of the Netflix Eyeline facility in Hyderabad would play a pivotal role in nurturing local talent while also showcasing Telangana’s culture, heritage, and creative potential to global audiences.
The Chief Minister further observed that Netflix has recently begun expanding its focus on sports content and could emerge as a major global broadcaster in the sports domain. Drawing a parallel, he noted that the Telangana Government is equally committed to promoting sports and nurturing talent at all levels through investments in modern infrastructure and the establishment of a Sports University in the State.
Welcoming Netflix to Telangana, the Chief Minister stated that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to creativity, innovation, and global engagement. He expressed confidence that Hyderabad and Netflix can together serve as gateways connecting global talent, opportunities, and cultures, while contributing meaningfully to the evolution of the international entertainment and creative industries.
The event was attended by Jeff Shapiro, Chief Executive Officer of Eyeline Studios; Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcast ; actor and producer Rana Daggubati ; Dil Raju, Chairman of the Telangana FDC; along with senior representatives from Netflix and members of the creative industry.
