వరంగల్ – కరీంనగర్ పట్టణాల సమగ్రాభివృద్ధికి సంబంధించి ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు బృహత్ ప్రణాళికను ప్రకటించారు. ఈ రెండు పట్టణాలకు ఔటర్ రింగ్ రోడ్లను పూర్తి చేస్తామన్నారు. ఆ రెండింటినీ కలిపే విధంగా రోడ్లను విస్తరించడమే కాకుండా రెండింటి మధ్య అతి పెద్ద డంప్ యార్డ్ను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని చెప్పారు. డంప్ యార్డ్ వద్ద విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి కేంద్రాన్ని నిర్మిస్తామని వెల్లడించారు.
కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా చొప్పదండి నియోజకవర్గంలోని గుమ్లాపూర్లో నిర్వహించిన “ప్రజాపాలన – ప్రగతి బాట” కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా చొప్పదండిలో 45.15 కోట్ల రూపాయలతో నిర్మించనున్న అడ్వాన్స్డ్ టెక్నాలజీ సెంటర్ (ATC) కి, అలాగే 5 కోట్ల రూపాయలతో గంగాధర మండలంలో ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కాలేజీ నిర్మాణానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు.
అనంతరం అక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన బహిరంగ సభలో మాట్లాడారు. వరంగల్కు ఔటర్ రింగ్ రోడ్డుతో పాటు విమానాశ్రయం పూర్తి చేసి, కరీంనగర్ ఔటర్ రింగ్ రోడ్డుతో అనుసంధానం చేసి జంట నగరాలుగా వాటిని దేశానికే ఆదర్శంగా నిలబడే మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్లుగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని చెప్పారు.
“2027 లో రాబోయే గోదావరి పుష్కరాల కోసం ఆదిలాబాద్ బాసర పుణ్యక్షేత్రం నుంచి ఖమ్మం భద్రాచలం వరకు ఉన్న అన్ని దేవాలయాలను పూర్తిస్థాయి ప్రణాళికలతో అభివృద్ధి చేస్తాం. అందుకు అవసరమైతే నాలుగైదు వేల కోట్లను ఖర్చు చేసి వాటిని అభివృద్ధి చేసే బాధ్యత నేను తీసుకుంటా.
గోదావరి పుష్కరాల నాటికి బాసర నుంచి భద్రాచలం వరకు దేవాలయాలను పర్యాటక కేంద్రాలుగా, పుణ్యక్షేత్రాలుగా మధ్యలో అటవీ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఎకోటూరిజంను కూడా అభివృద్ధి చేస్తాం.
రాష్ట్రంలో రైతులు, విద్యార్థులు, యువకులు, ఆడబిడ్డలు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమస్యలను ఒక్కొక్కటిగా పరిష్కరించుకుంటూ వస్తున్నాం.
వ్యవసాయం దండగ కాదు పండగ చేయాలన్న సంకల్పంతో 2 లక్షల రూపాయల మేరకు రుణమాఫీ, గిట్టుబాటు ధర, సన్నవడ్లకు బోనస్, రైతు బీమా, రైతుభరోసా వంటి సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలతో వ్యవసాయ రంగానికి దేశంలోనే అత్యధికంగా 1.15 లక్షల కోట్లను ఖర్చు చేశాం.
గడిచిన రెండేండ్లలో 70 వేల ఉద్యోగాలు భర్తీ చేశాం. బీసీ, ఎస్సీ హాస్టళ్లు శిథిలావస్థలో ఉంటే పిల్లలకు మెరుగైన విద్యను అందించడానికి వంద యంగ్ ఇండియా ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూళ్లను నిర్మిస్తున్నాం. సాంఘిక సంక్షేమ హాస్టళ్ల విద్యార్థులకు 40 శాతం మేరకు మెస్ చార్జీలను, 200 శాతం మేరకు కాస్మెటిక్ చార్జీలను పెంచాం.
ఆడబిడ్డల ఆత్మగౌరవం కాపాడాలన్న లక్ష్యంతో ఆర్టీసీలో ఉచిత బస్సు సౌకర్యంతో మహిళా సంఘాలకు సున్నా వడ్డీకే 27 వేల కోట్ల రూపాయలు అందించాం. మహిళా సంఘాలకు వెయ్యి బస్సులను అప్పగించడమే కాకుండా, పెట్రోల్ బంకులు, వెయ్యి మెగావాట్ల సోలార్ విద్యుత్ కేంద్రాలను కేటాయించడం వంటి సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టాం.
ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడిన తర్వాత రెండేండ్లలో ఏం చేశామో శాసనసభ వేదికగా వెల్లడించడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నాం. తెలంగాణను దేశంలోనే నంబర్ వన్ రాష్ట్రంగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతాం. ఎవరో వస్తారని, ఏదో చేస్తారని ఎదురుచూడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. అభివృద్ధి చేసుకునే సత్తా తెలంగాణకు ఉంది” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అన్నారు.
సభలో జిల్లా ఇంచార్జీ మంత్రి తుమ్మల నాగేశ్వరరావు గారు, మంత్రులు దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారు, అడ్లూరి లక్ష్మణ్ కుమార్ గారు ప్రసంగించారు. ఈ సభలో ఉమ్మడి కరీంనగర్ జిల్లాకు చెందిన ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఈ సందర్భంగా కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా మహిళా సమాఖ్య (శ్రీ సీతారామచంద్ర జిల్లా సమాఖ్య)కు 110.10 కోట్ల రూపాయల చెక్కును అందించారు.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy announced a comprehensive plan for the integrated development of Warangal and Karimnagar cities. He stated that Outer Ring Roads would be completed for both cities, the connecting roads would be widened, and a large dump yard would be set up between the two cities, where a power generation plant would also be established.
The Chief Minister participated in the “Praja Palana – Pragathi Bata” programme held at Gumlapur in Choppadandi constituency, Karimnagar district. On the occasion, he laid the foundation stone for an Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) in Choppadandi at a cost of ₹45.15 crore, and a Government Degree College in Gangadhara mandal costing ₹5 crore.
Addressing the public meeting, the Chief Minister said that Warangal will have an Outer Ring Road and an airport, which will be connected to the Karimnagar Outer Ring Road, transforming both cities into twin cities and model municipal corporations for the country.
Ahead of the Godavari Pushkarams in 2027, the government will undertake comprehensive development of all temples from Basara in Adilabad district to Bhadrachalam in Khammam district. He said the government is prepared to invest ₹4,000–5,000 crore, if required, for the development of these temples.
The temples along the Basara–Bhadrachalam corridor will be developed as major pilgrimage and tourism centres, along with the promotion of eco-tourism in the forest areas in between.
The Chief Minister said the government is systematically addressing the issues faced by farmers, students, youth, and women across the State.
With the objective of making agriculture a celebration rather than a burden, the government has spent ₹1.15 lakh crore on the agricultural sector—the highest in the country—through initiatives such as loan waivers up to ₹2 lakh, Minimum Support Price, bonus for fine varieties of paddy, farmer insurance, and Rythu Bharosa.
Over the last two years, the government has filled 70,000 jobs. To strengthen education infrastructure, 100 Young India Integrated Residential Schools are being constructed, while mess charges in social welfare hostels have been increased by 40 percent and cosmetic charges by 200 percent.
To strengthen women’s self-respect and economic empowerment, the government has introduced free bus travel for women in RTC buses and extended ₹27,000 crore in zero-interest loans to women’s self-help groups. In addition, 1,000 buses, petrol pumps, and 1,000 MW of solar power projects are being allocated to women’s SHGs.
The Chief Minister stated that the government is ready to place its achievements of the past two years on the floor of the Legislative Assembly, reaffirming its commitment to make Telangana the number one state in the country.
District In-charge Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao, Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, and Adluri Lakshman Kumar, along with public representatives from the erstwhile Karimnagar district, attended the programme.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister handed over a cheque of ₹110.10 crore to the Karimnagar District Mahila Samakhya (Sri Seetharamachandra District SHG Samakhya).
